    Cuban special sandwich

Come in Florida almost after 1 year. Ordered coffee, guava empanada, and pork sandwiches. OMG sooooo delicious. Nothing didn't change. Friendly workers, fast service. Cool atmosphere You can seat and eat if you want. Price stay the same. Thanks

Plantains were just ok. I wouldn't recommend their rice and beans.

Tucked away in a plaza and they have reasonable prices. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, lunch entree (meat and 2 sides plus it came with plantains) and can of soda was $26. Very good portions. The pork was really good but yellow rice and black beans were very very bland. Cuban was large portion but tasted more like pork sandwich instead of a Cuban so I was alittle disappointed. I'd go back and try something different.

Found this place out of luck. Cute and small but the food was great. Service was quick and friendly. However, the best part was the food. Hands down delicious

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and we were very happy we did. My wife had pulled pork with she loved it. Pulled pork was excellent very very well seasoned awesome flavor. The rice was okay. I had the Cuban sandwich I will tell you one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've had. I get that Cuban sandwich at 8.8. is very hard to find a sandwich for the of the sevens much less 8.8. if you want an awesome Cuban sandwich this is definitely the place

This is a hidden Gem! The food is authentic, the Service is impeccable, and the Ambiance is cozy and inviting! I get island fever with the Spanish music, lighting, and the beautiful photographs representing the Cuban Flare! Check it out, you won't be disappointed Local Cafe

I'm still thinking about the Cuban sandwich from here. It was absolutely delicious. I was visiting from California and randomly decided to go here with my group and it was the best decision we made. This had to be the best food item I ate while out there in Tampa. The cashier was super helpful when ordering and recommended this sandwich. I'm extremely grateful I trusted her opinion. I love finding great finds, especially when they're small businesses. Highly recommend.

I've had a classic Cuban sandwich in a lot of places and this was hands down the very best Cuban I've ever had. The pulled pork was generous and tender and perfect! The whole sandwich was so very delicious. We also found a new favorite- the guava and cheese empanada was amazing! Must try! We wished we would've gotten several of them.

If you don't like cuban food, you will after coming here! Great quality for price, lovely staff, and even better flavor.

Nestled within the vibrant streets of Tampa, I stumbled upon a hidden local gem that left me savoring the flavors of an authentic Cuban breakfast. The aroma of a hot Cuban Breakfast Sandwich greeted me as l entered the humble establishment. We had the pleasure of trying Western Cuba sandwich. This delightful creation consisted of a toasted Cuban western omelet sandwich with green peppers, onions, eggs and ham. The combination of the fluffy omelet and the crisp, toasted bread created a symphony of flavors that delighted my taste buds. Accompanying this delectable sandwich was a cup of handcrafted cafe con Leche, a true testament to the artistry of the local baristas. The velvety richness of the coffee, perfectly balanced with the creamy milk, created a harmonious blend that invigorated my senses. In a moment of culinary curiosity, I succumbed to the allure of a guava and cheese empanada. With each bite, the empanada revealed its true magic, as the guava and cheese melted in my mouth. The sweetness of the guava and the creaminess of the cheese danced on my palate, creating a symphony of flavors that I will forever cherish. Regrettably, my eagerness to savor this delectable treat caused me to forget capturing a photograph of its irresistible allure. Don't let the modest exterior fool you; this place is a culinary delight waiting to be discovered. The service was friendly and fast.

Relaxed seating area and everything is a bit mismatched, but that just adds to the vibe. The bathrooms are STUNNING. I've never been to a cafe with a bathroom that fancy whoa. The service was very friendly, gave us recommendations based on the popular items ppl get. I got the velvet amber half decaf and my partner got the cinnamon toast latte. Both were great. They also serve Kava, Teas, mushroom gummies, and additives you can add to your drink. They also offer CBD consultation. Overall, I will be coming back to battle some of my friends in chess and do my study dates there.

Naida makes some tasty Cuban sandwiches here for a good price. The star of the sandwich is Naida's roast pork. It's well seasoned and it totally makes this sandwich shine. I usually get it with everything, but I keep forgetting that they'll include onions if you ask for it "all the way." It's good with or without it, but I prefer it without. Just keep that in mind and be specific if you don't want onions on your sandwich. Naida also makes the best café con leche. I sometimes go there just for Cuban toast and that awesome coffee. It gives me energy! They have a small hot bar area of daily offerings with some kind of rice and beans. It may change daily. I haven't ordered a platter, but I will one day. They do have a tasty arroz con salchichas side item. My mom used to make it sometimes with those little canned Vienna sausages. Yeah, it's a comfort thing for me. They also make wonderful breakfast sandwiches and ham croquettes. El Cuba Cafe is hidden inside of a Circle K convenience store on Bell Shoals Road. It's directly across the street from Publix at Bloomingdale Square. I know it has Cuba in the name, but their is a lot of Puerto Rican representation here. That may also be why I'm so fond of it. It's also super convenient, and the service is great. I usually drive in the back way to avoid all the construction nearby. There's no dining area. You just order your meal and take it with you. She promptly brought me menus and asked if I'd like anything to drink, which she delivered without hesitation. While I was perusing the menu, Shana went to another table, but she returned quickly to take my order. My Farmhouse Hash arrived in about 10 minutes, and it was delicious. Shana checked in with me a few times during my meal, but she didn't hover, which I appreciated. The restaurant was spotless, with a diligent cleaning crew ensuring a hygienic environment after each patron's departure. However, I noticed a minor issue: the restroom water was trickling out during my handwashing. I promptly informed an employee about this problem, and she promptly called out to someone, likely the manager. It was reassuring to witness the staff's attentive response and the swift action taken to address the issue. The food was quickly delivered at the right temperature and tasted wonderful. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was moderately busy. Shana, in particular, stood out as a fantastic employee. That peaceful feeling remains, in its successor-this still newish First Watch. They've opened it up in here... no room dividers-the duct work exposed in the now higher ceiling. When you walk in, there are booths and tables left, right and center-and a cute little high top bar to the right (juices and juice blends and, I believe, limited cocktails. They have some on the menu) The decor is contemporary industrial, with some charming vintage touches sprinkled here and there. And a mural reminds you you're in Brandon-a nice nod to local. I was happily seated by a big window. My server was sweet-brought water right away. (And what is it about cold water in a glass bottle, poured into a glass ? It's magical! I'd make Mom proud and up my water intake if I served it that way at home) She gave me plenty of time to choose my breakfast. I went with the "traditional"-2 scrambled eggs, 3 pieces of bacon (you can choose other meats-or upgrade to their million dollar bacon), breakfast potatoes and thick, rustic toast with butter. Oh, it was good-especially the bacon. I paired it with a kale juice blend that was tasty and hopefully healthy. (My carbonated Diet Coke bloodstream needed a break) It came to just under $22. I'd order it again, but there are lots of other intriguing options on both the regular menu-and the seasonal one. It's comfy, casual, cozy and spotlessly clean. It wasn't overly busy on the Tuesday morning I was there-but it was in between breakfast and lunch. I'm sure it's bustling at prime times. There's lots of parking and abundant covered, outdoor seating on two sides of the building. It's easy, breezy and yum. Oh yes, I'll be back.
