Got my eyebrows threaded today by Kathy and wow she is amazing. She was thorough, she asked how thick/thin I wanted and if I wanted to do a natural shape or more sharp. She is quick, I felt like I was in and out in a matter of minutes but she was so good. I don't have any complaints. The room was clean and inviting. She made little conversation but it was because she was focused on my eyebrows, which I don't mind at all. See Kathy, she is the best! First time here even though I pass by all the time. I had a gift card so what better way to try a new place! They are located on the first floor of Pearlridge on the TJ Maxx side. I got an $80 one hour signature massage and a $36 classic pedicure w regular nail polish (You can get gel polish, but I prefer regular for easier removal). I made an appointment the day prior for both. The massage was fantastic and so was the pedicure. Saki did my massage and pedicure and she was great! She did my massage at the right pressure that I wanted (i prefer a medium pressure) and was so patient to help me find the right nail polish color for my pedicure. I would definitely ask for Saki again for my next visit. She's friendly and has good massage technique. read more

Walked in on a Thursday around 10:30am (they opened at 10am) asked if they had an opening for mani pedi , guy in the front said no. Next opening was 11:30am. lol there was literally one girl in there and multiple workers ... maybe they had appts coming in , either way I figured I would be able to do a walk in on a weekday. I loved how my nails turned out, but the nail tech didn't really know how to do a stiletto nail. She struggled and I kept saying to make it sharper, but I settled with the almond shape and kept the rest square. The nails were cute nonetheless....BUT they tried to up-charge me without my knowledge. Luckily, my boyfriend was there to speak up for me and see what was going on. I wanted a nude acrylic with a clear top coat, simple right..just 2 products? but somehow she added clear gel polish which made my total cost $30 extra. I asked how that could be and they stumbled across different excuses that made no sense. First it was, "This is gel that's why" so I said "Okay, I didn't want that so can you take off the top coat so I don't have to pay $30 for it" thennn they switched it to "Oh it's because you wanted a nude acrylic instead of clear acrylic so it's extra". Like WHAT? Mind you, for $30 I could buy a whole bottle of gel top coat and/or a small tub of nude acrylic lol. The owner ended up charging me the regular price and was understanding about my frustration, but this situation definitely broke the trust between me and this company. Great experience here recently! Easy to call in a same-day reservation. Showed up and was assisted right away by the receptionist. My nail tech this time was friendly and the absolute sweetest. She gave me a five-star pedicure. Massage, cuticle care, exfoliation, and nail polish painting was all amazing. I never felt more comfortable here. Everything was clean and organized. Came here to get my husband's eyebrows threaded, looks like they're offering it now! This is great because I really need someplace that does threading for a reasonable price. Whoever did his threading did a really great job, so of course, I had to try it too...That's why I took off one star. The woman who did my husband's eyebrows was young, mid20s, white and she was sweet, personable, and did a great job! Made me excited to come back and try her services. The woman who did my eyebrows was on the older side, asian, and English seemed like her second language but I don't mind that. What I did mind was how my eyebrows looked like at the end of my service. I didn't even know she was the one doing my eyebrows until I was in the room with her! I also noticed the woman who did my eyebrows was in the middle of a pedicure when she saw me, put her stuff down, and lead me to the back room to do my eyebrows. I was confused because I thought she was just setting me up but turns out she stopped a service to help me. If I was the customer getting a pedicure I would be a little confused. I also had a flier for 20% off for first-time customers, which wasn't accepted because I said my husband got his eyebrows done here. My husband and I are not the same person, and it was my first time utilizing their services so IMO I am a first time customer! Carly is my go to girl! She does my lashes every two weeks and just did my nails this past week for the first time. She does gel and acrylic. Prices are so ridiculously reasonable! They accept credit cards. The salon is clean and everyone is so friendly. It is located in Pearlridge Mall, so parking is always easy. The mall can get busy on the weekends, but if you're free on the weekdays you will have no wait! I love my lashes and I love my nails! If you want a local girl, go see Carly! First time checking in here. Always passing through, I have been meaning to try it out. Today it was for my hair! A color retouch to be exact. I called ahead to see about availability and they fit me in around lunch time. I was very excited as the holiday season was a busy one and I was unable to make my last couple hair appts. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the stars alone is purely for aesthetic purposes as the atmosphere here was beautiful and serene. Perfect for a much needed break! In addition my hair stylist Clarissa was wonderful and very sweet. She knew my exact color shade and I enjoyed our conversations too. My hair was silky smooth at the end of the appt and I felt very much rejuvenated. Just like you, I've tried pedicures at multiple salons. Some were better than others but it seemed like skimping on the polish was the norm AND I always wondered how the tools were sterilized between clients as I saw no indication of such. Then I took my sister with me to Pala'zio for a deluxe pedicure. Gracie was fantastic! My sister kept asking me "is this a normal salon pedicure?" Nope. Gracie's attention to detail was so much more. I recently visited this nail salon with high hopes, only to be sorely disappointed. Upon entering, I noticed a sign clearly displaying the price for a fill at $23. However, when l inquired about the service, Jenny, one of the staff members, shockingly informed me that the fill would cost $45. (After halfway completing the work). Not only was this a blatant attempt to overcharge me, but the service itself fell short of expectations. The quality of the fill did not justify the exorbitant price tag. Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding pricing left a sour taste in my mouth. Overall, I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. The attempt to overcharge customers coupled with subpar service is simply unacceptable. Save your money and seek out a nail salon that values honesty and integrity. Plus to top it off a color change on my toes was $22. read more

After my last not so great review, I went back the following week to specifically see Diamond. And as usual, she worked her magic. Fixed my ripped off nail perfectly. She made my gel nails match the regular polish on my toes! I didn't even have to tell her, she knew I wanted them matching. 4 weeks later, I went back. As as usual, saw Diamond. You can see from my pictures, my red Christmasy nails still looked good, but since it's a new year, I had to change it up. Couldn't decide between hot pink or grey, so I went with both! I came in to get my lashes done. The service was nice and all but the result of the lashes was horrible. I originally wanted to try this place because it is closer to where i live than the one I originally go to which is near ala moana. It was my fault that I didnt look at reviews first. Lesson learned. Anyways, it took 3hrs for a hybrid set to be finished. On the picture my left eye was so clumpy to the point where I could not comb through them properly and the lash comb would get stuck. And on my right eye there was a ball of glue clump. When I get eyebrow waxes here it's been great! However I decided to get my first massage and I wouldn't recommend it. I see a review from a year ago that seems to be about the same person who massaged me--constant talking, worked on my upper back which in the moment felt like getting the knots out but few hours after the massage, my back was actually in pain. I've never been in pain after a massage. I think I will stick with getting massages from places that I know have licensed massage therapists. read more
