I picked Susan based on other reviews and she did not disappoint. I went with the basic spa pedicure. I hadn't had a pedi in a while and my feet were honestly in rough shape, but Susan worked quickly and did a great job getting everything cleaned up. My toes looked fantastic by the end, and the polish was applied perfectly with no rushing or mess. I had read some reviews saying they pressure you to get gel. I was asked twice, but it didn't feel pushy at all, and they were totally fine when I said no. One small difference compared to my usual spot is they didn't use a dryer at the end. Instead, I just relaxed in the massage chair until everything was mostly dry, which was actually pretty nice. Overall, really solid experience. Fast, clean, easy booking, and good results. A couple of months ago, after getting a pedicure here, I developed redness and throbbing pain in my big toe. At the time, I brushed it off and assumed I had injured it at home. However, I returned for another pedicure two days ago, and I'm experiencing the same symptoms again-- redness and throbbing pain in the same toe. This has made me concerned about cleanliness and sanitation practices. I selected the basic pedicure which includes a nice mini massage here. The front desk manager was very kind and helpful. My pedicurist was very gentle and that is something I look for because more often than not I get cut. Tina was thorough and asked if I wanted to tack on a callous removal for $5, which I agreed to after making sure she was going to use the pumice rather than the grater. She was able to clean up my toenails so well, without cutting me or being aggressive. Can I say this was the best pedicure I've ever had? She checked up on me as well when I looked worried. PARAFFIN BURN - NEVER AGAIN! They're lucky I was too tired to really address this issue. I would have walked out without paying. I've been to this salon before because my family are regulars, but my most recent visit while visiting the island was extremely disappointing. The technician, Cherry, burned my right toes with hot paraffin during the service. I immediately told her it was too hot, but she told me to "hold on" and not to remove my toes from the bag. I said, "My feet are burning!" and she made it seem like I was overreacting, then laughed and said "sorry" a few times while continuing. She even wiped my feet roughly and pulled on my toes as if trying to pop them. GEEZ -- I just wanted to see how she was going to handle it. Just bad. Despite the burn and the discomfort, she still charged me the full $85, with no acknowledgment or offer to make things right. I paid just to see how they would handle the situation -- and unfortunately, it confirmed a real lack of professionalism and accountability. I expected better care, especially since my family has supported this business for years. Accidents can happen, but the way she handled the situation was completely unacceptable. I truly hope management takes this seriously and provides better training on client safety, awareness, and customer care -- because no one should leave a salon feeling HURT!!! read more

Got deluxe pedicure service from Susan. I chose a pretty and neutral light beige color. Massage chair was standard but works great. Service total time was a good decent amount of time 50 min or so. Stopped here for a pedicure with my daughter and granddaughter. The place is not all that clean for a salon. Foot spas were not individually covered with a plastic bag like all other places do and we noticed that tools being used were not properly set aside to be disinfected. One of the workers literally sprayed something onto the cuticle cutter, wiped it dry with the same towel being used, and returned it to her tool cup. There was no signs of the tools being separated for disinfecting later... The massage chairs we were sat in were all in a row, but one wasn't working. When mentioned, they nonchalantly said, "Oh it's broken. You want another chair?" I mean she obviously knew it was broken, so why were we sat there??? So, the pedicures themselves.... We asked for the basic ($32) and of course that was mistake number one! The conversation in their language quickly began! I don't about you, but I've been to see Anjelah Johnson and I know they weren't talking nice! We all three asked for the same service, but only one of us got a bonus oil at the end and two of us got callous scrub, while the other didn't. Once we were "done", which was IMMEDIATELY following clear coat, we were told we were done... literally! We thought we could at least let them dry for a few minutes, but apparently when you don't get gel polish, "They're still wet, because you didn't get gel polish! You're done!" I had my nails done yesterday evening, I went back because the nail tech name Tracy couldn't make the shape I want!! She fix it but still not good. I went back today to redo my nails because I want to get my money worth paid $85 plus tip! She was so rude and she even yelled at me when I ask if I can't remove the glitters .i don't know if she did understand what I was trying to explain and say!!! i told her can you remove the glitters if not it's okay no worries.. but she yelled like NO!! never had any issues up until Wednesday, the lady who did my toes hurt my nail and she knew she did because she made a noise and asked if I was okay and it didn't hurt that bad but as the days went by it got way worse. Went to get a mani/pedi done here as a walk in! Was immediately taken in and an auntie started on the pedicure + massage chair. The uncle brought over the Gel-X kit and started doing my nails while I was in the massage chair...which I thought was unstable for proper shaping and filing. I had to awkwardly reach over my other hand while trying not to move my legs as auntie painted my toes. I asked for color #91 on both hands/feet and I got 2 different shades... I also sensed they were rushing as it was getting closer to closing. As a result, I'm now seeing chipping and bubbling/warping on both hands/feet only a couple days after service. The shape of my fingers wasn't terrible, but the coats were uneven and thicker in some spots. Got nicked a couple times on my fingers by the drill as well. I spent $92 on this set plus $10 tip for hands and $5 for feet because I'm not a jerk who doesn't tip. I'm not sure I'd return to this salon in the future...only good thing was getting seated right away. read more

A little disappointed with the salon overall. It seems that every time I find a technician that does my pedicure well, they leave. I went in first thing in the morning when they opened at 10a and the pedicure chair I sat in was dusty, like someone just got their acrylics done on the seat. It was kinda of a turn off considering that they opened at 10a this morning - it was like the chair wasn't cleaned at all. I had a new technician since John is no longer here. She was fine. She didn't give me all the options to look at as far as colors, because they usually number I get didn't match. Usually they have different brands on different color display sets. The only thing that really made this review 3 stars was when she used the hot stones and paraffin wax. Usually most technicians check the temperature for both - she didn't. The rocks weren't too bad, but the paraffin wax was super hot, straight out of the pot. I kept telling her it was too hot, then she turned on the water, spraying me with hot water? Not sure what hot water is supposed to do to help. It was very hot, keep in mind I also ask for hot water for my pedicures. The wax barely encompassed my entire foot.... What a waste of the service. My heels were barely touched with wax. Boo. After the service I found that she didn't wipe the paraffin wax off so I had a lot of residue on the side of my foot. read more

I went in told the technician I wanted the deluxe pedicure and no gel. She kept trying to upsell and kept asking if I want gel and that gel was better. I kept saying no. Then she kept jabbing me with the instrument they use to clip cuticles with could not relax at all. I told her to not use the grater that they use for callouses as she was starting to use it and hurting my feet like she was grating cheese or something. Had to tell her not to use the grater and just the scrubber thing they use but to go softly, it seemed like she did not understand English very well. Then she said regular nail polish only lasts one hour but I've gone to other places and they do a better job and pedicures last for a couple weeks. Felt like she was treating me like I never had a pedicure before. Finally she said she will look for a regular nail polish and brought one back. Just went with it. That wasn't the only problem they don't seem to sterilize their tools after each client and the towels looked dirty and stained with nail polish line they didn't even wash it. I was worried I was going to get an infection and it's been day one after so not out of the clear yet. Came home and washed my feet and legs then wiped down with alcohol and did the same today even applied some bacitracin on legs and toes just incase. To start, I thought the lady was kidding when she said they ran out of hot water, but she wasn't. The water for my pedicure was cold! Towards the end before the polish the water was getting warm. Came in as a walk in on a Friday afternoon so I was happy to be helped so quickly! My nail tech was John, he was super patient and kind. I am always hesitant when asking for designs but he was very willing to see my ideas and do them for me. The only down side was for a design on dip they wanted to charge me an extra $30. I Decided to skip and save it for next time. Nothing fancy shouldn't even take my whole nails off and didn't put white tips on to use the same tips that were there. They charge me $215.00. I got a mani and Pedi both with the same gel polish and thought it came out great when I left. The girl I had did it in a timely manner and was polite. I noticed 2 days later that the polish started lifting/separating from my nail at the top and also chipped on my pinky so I went back. I got the same girl and she apologized and went ahead and tried to fix it and re-do a top coat. Then, she mentioned that I got an old polish and that's probably why. I thought to myself why would they still have it as an option if it's old. Then, she started cutting my cuticles and buffing my pinky nail really hard and it was red and had a small cut.
