My husband and I come here with our family and dog often because there is patio seating and it's conveniently located next to the outlets. You just can't beat a pizza and beer on a nice day outside. And they keep it interesting at Tailgate, with a rotating selection of craft brews on tap and a pizza of the month. I am a creature of habit and will usually order the tailgate orange wheat beer (tastes even better on tap than in cans from the store!) and a hot honey pizza. On occasion I'll venture out on a limb and try the pizza of the month. For April 2026, the pizza of the month was ham, blackberry jam and ricotta. It was a hit for all of us (even my dog!) and I wish I could order this again and again. This last time we also ordered a flight to try some of the new beers on the menu. The most unique sip we tried was the TG blast, Tailgate's boozy version of Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Go check it out while it's still there!

I was half-expecting to get a phone call from DoorDash that the restaurant was actually closed, as had happened to me in the past, but no, there was my contactless pizza, left at my door, right on time. Armed with paper towels and prepared for the worst, I crept open the box and peeked inside. And there it was -- pizza! Perfectly browned and gooey cheese, crispy-edged pepperoni, not skimped on toppings pizza! I still can't believe it! The texture was pretty perfect and it really tasted like someone put care into making it, even though we ordered an hour before closing. (Sorry!)
