I love this place! I first tried their paletas at a party, the host had bought 30+ paletas to try. I visited the location on my own recently and couldn't believe how many flavors there were. They were delicious and the older woman working the front was sweet. I liked the music they were playing as well. Will be back to try their savory options! read more

Decided to come to Paletas La Michoakana and so glad I did! But blink too fast and you might miss it, small location but packed w many options! I personally got the pepino con chile paleta and it was really good! Also tried an elote which was also delicious! The kids each went back for seconds too. Limited seating inside and a couple seats outside. It was clean inside and friendly service! FYI- If you plan on using card, they do charge .50c! Definitely not a dealbreaker for me but bring cash if it is for you. read more

Delicious Mexican Ice Cream Pops. Comes in milk based (ice cream bar) and water based (popsicle). We tried the banana and mango milk based and loved them. Took home another banana and also a strawberry cream and coffee in milk based and kiwi/strawberry and watermelon in water based. Will update after trying them. Clean store. Friendly, helpful staff. Prices ranged from 1.90 to 3.00 each. The 3.00 ones were a little fancier. They also have spicy combinations. They also sell Thrifty ice cream, but do try their homemade selection! read more

The ice cream is there best thing they have here. The corn isn't bad but could use a little touch in flavor and it be better. If your looking for good Mexican tasting ice cream and not break the bank then this is the place to go. The only negative thing about it is they open a little late and close early so it's a hit and miss, just call before you go cuz sometimes they close for a few days as well. read more

My bf and I went yesterday, and it was about a 25 min drive BUT definitely worth it !! We will be coming back, the snacks were great and the service as well. They have so many popsicle flavors to choose from and everything is made in house .. besides popsicles they also offer snacks like elotes en vaso, Fresas con crema and my favorite the Tostitos preparados (I got them without cueros bcus #vegetarianlife but still yummy), the cucumber and jicama that came inside were soooo fresh and good. My bf got the tostielotes and he agreed those were yummy as well, and a chamoy Paleta too . I freaking LOVE this place. I used travel to Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, when I visited family. I would spend hours en la paletaria just because there's nothing like that place back home (Avondale). Well those days are over. Paleta's La Michoakana is the best thing to ever happen to Avondale!!!! Everything on their menu is amazing and I always bring my family over here after a long day. Stopped by for some yummy summer time treats and will definitely be coming back! The melon agua fresca was so refreshing and could tell it was all fruit and nothing artificial. The elote was a little spicy for my taste, but still warm and delicious. And the fresas con crema was perfectly sweet and looked just like the picture! My husband said it was the best he's ever tasted! The staff was very friendly and told us about how they make the paletas in house. We'll be coming back for sure! read more

All the Mexican Paletas are homemade in-house with a variety of over 30 different flavors. Even their syrup for raspados (snow cones) are homemade.
