The service was perfectly adequate. The shakes took a little longer than I expected, but it was later in the evening and the employees seemed to be enjoying themselves, so it wasn't a major issue. Unfortunately, the food and drinks just weren't for us. I ordered a vanilla shake specifically because I wanted something simple and safe, but I found it lacking in flavor and overall didn't enjoy it. My wife ordered the Oreo Snow Cup and described it as just okay. To be fair, I'm not sure anything was necessarily prepared incorrectly. This may simply come down to personal taste. However, neither of us was particularly impressed with what we ordered, and based on this visit, we probably won't be returning. read more

Stopped by for celebratory ice cream with my mom, and I gotta say this place is so cute! The menu is large and unique, I had a hard time choosing but ultimately wanted the fish cone so we both chose that. The selection is a build your own vibe, so we both customized our orders to our favorites. The place is family run, and they work HARD. Their daughter runs the register and despite her age she was so helpful and sweet, this isn't her first time for sure! The little boy is probably 7 and he was adorable going around and cleaning tables, and he cleaned them well might I add! It took about 10 minutes to get our order but the place was packed and they make the waffle cones fresh on the spot so we had no problem waiting! The ice cream was delicious and the waffle cone fish was warm and soft and had a great taste. Overall it was a great time! Cute little local owned shop that I must have passed a dozen times and never noticed. Fast and friendly staff when we were here. Nothing over the top, just a stop for dessert, maybe an iced coffee or shake. They do have ramen and potstickers, we just stopped for dessert though. ***Update because I wrote this while there. The vanilla soft serve - just by itself - was one of the best I've ever tasted! We came to Sweet Snow due to their varied menu of sweet treats, particularly the more traditional Korean varieties. Ah-Boong were among the best I have had. Cones are soft with lightly crisp ridges. The Nutella helped keep the soft serve from soaking into the cone. Nutella with coffee soft serve topped with cocoa dust was the combination I went with. It was a safe and delicious choice. I would have loved to have one of the more traditional flavors of soft serve, but the flavors available were more mainstream. The bings didn't impress as much as the ah-boongs. Oreo bing came out more like wet Oreos. Shaved ice was just too wet. Not sure if that is how they usually make it. There are also churros, brownies, smoothies and bubble waffles. I was craving ice cream and found this shop on yelp. The thing that really excites me is that they have the Korean/Taiwanese style shaved snow. I couldn't choose between the green tea soft serve or the mango snow so I got one of each! My boyfriend and friends also got the bubble waffle, and the unicorn Taiyaki. I had to try this place after seeing the cute fish cones the icecream is served in. I ordered the Ah-Boong cone with chocolate ice cream, Nutella filling, orea crumbles and strawberry drizzle. It was very delicious. I tried other things on the menu as well like the churro 2-pack and the spicy ramien. I personally think this place should possibly stick to dessert items as the ramien left much to be desired. My only other comment about this place would be that building your frozen treat can be a bit confusing as only certain items are allowed on the fish cones.
