absolutely disgusting i went there and got a sandwhich and when it was brought out to me it had hair on top of the sandwich grilled in with the cheese. i brought the sandwich to the counter and told the waiter and she claims that it was the cheese and saying the cheese was stringy. you cannot tell me that it was not a piece of hair. i was only able to pull out one piece of hair before they took my sandwich back and made me a new one. once i got the new sandwich i noticed the cook behind the counter watching me as i was eating and made me feel very uncomfortable. once my boyfriend and i were paying they charged us for both of my sandwiches, the one with hair that i gave back and my sandwich that they replaced it with. server was terrible and rude. would not recommend at all. read more

This is a cute little spot. We ordered the Elvis burger, ranch chicken sandwich, and fish and chips. Everything tasted great. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking. It's a nice drive up to Ukiah so we will add it into our restaurant choices. read more

Their website said they closed at 9, so I walked in at 7:45 and was really confused why this cute diner was empty. I ask for a table of one and she looks a little confused and sits me down and tell me to be careful of the wet floors. I sit down and she take my order. I ask her if they're closing at 9 still. She tells me that that's only for the summer time, and they actually close at 8. I felt horrible and asked if I could order my food to go. Walking into Bebop's diner was nostalgic. I loved everything about it. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly impressed with the options available not to mention the freshness of the food. Everything about this place had an old school diner vibe to it--the ambiance, the service, the red Coca-Cola cups and not to mention the booths were so wore in, there were indentations in the cushions. I ordered a crispy chicken ranch club with some bop fries and it was AMAZING!!! By far hands down the best fries in town, and the chicken on the sandwich was to die for. The food was amazing when I got something to go twice. The third time I got food to go, I found a big hair on top of my fries. As a crazy shedder myself, I gave them another chance. The last time, I witnessed the cook making food with no gloves. He had long hair that was not pulled back or protected in anyway. It was probably his hair that landed in my fries the last time. I need to update this review. Be-Bops has become a favorite for my husband and son. They love the burgers and the milkshakes. My son loves the mini cars on display. As a vegetarian I do appreciate that they have a garden burger available. There are also salads on the menu. Though it's more suited to meat eaters than to me, I think it's a fun, kid friendly dining experience and I'm glad to have them in Ukiah. read more

Spent a night in Ukiah before we drive up to Redwoods County. We were staying at the nearby hotel so decided to checkout this place for dinner. The restaurant is located in a not so great neighborhood but it didn't deter us from order foods to go. Kids menu were excellent along with burger options. Only one star for the food being descent...here's my complaint,ordered a Oreo milkshake which was fine till I got the bill,they charged me for the Oreo to be put in the milkshake..what!! It's very strange. This place used to be a bank when I was growing up. Now its a cheesy 50s diner. The good news is this place is about a billion times better than it has any right to be. The food is good if a bit greasy, but in the best way possible. Service was friendly and attentive. Seems like a family run place. They had some decent vegetarian options. And very clean! WOW!!! Best place ever to stop in for a bite to eat on my way back to washing when passing through California. I came in about a week or so ago and had such a tasty meal and incredible customer service. My burger was absolutely delicious and my onion rings were the perfect side to pair with my burger. The boy who waited on my husband and I was absolutely exceptional! We told him it was our first time here because we are from out of state, and he went above and beyond to check on us and make sure the food was great. I have been to many fine dining establishments and do not even receive that type of exceptional service, and such tasty food! After a long day at lake pilsbury on our way back to Santa Rosa we saw Be-bops and decide to stop and eat. I am so glad we did. The food was so good and came out quick. The kids were stuffed but wouldn't leave without a milkshake which were bomb! But what really made us happy was our waiter. We stayed at the motel nearby and Be-Bops diner was recommended to us. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was of a classic diner. We ordered a couple sandwiches and they were way better than we expected. Delicious! Top it off with a great shake and it was pretty much the perfect diner meal. We still talk about this meal fondly literally 2+ years later. I accidentally left my credit card there and the owner went the extra mile to track me down which was very much appreciated.
