This is a cute little spot. We ordered the Elvis burger, ranch chicken sandwich, and fish and chips. Everything tasted great. The kitchen is open so you can see them cooking. It's a nice drive up to Ukiah so we will add it into our restaurant choices. read more

I ordered a bacon burger and the bacon was not close to done. Since eating rubber fat is not on my list, I just took the bacon off. I also ordered extra pickles and not a solitary pickle was to be found. You'd think with how much they charge for their burgers they could at least get an order right. This was their last chance. Their website said they closed at 9, so I walked in at 7:45 and was really confused why this cute diner was empty. I ask for a table of one and she looks a little confused and sits me down and tell me to be careful of the wet floors. I sit down and she take my order. I ask her if they're closing at 9 still. She tells me that that's only for the summer time, and they actually close at 8. I felt horrible and asked if I could order my food to go. She was very very reassuring and that she had to wait for one of the other gentleman working to leave. I order my food and, damn. I wish I had the luxury of staying longer. Their menu looked so good. Walking into Bebop's diner was nostalgic. I loved everything about it. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly impressed with the options available not to mention the freshness of the food. Everything about this place had an old school diner vibe to it--the ambiance, the service, the red Coca-Cola cups and not to mention the booths were so wore in, there were indentations in the cushions. I'm not usually the type of person to leave a Yelp review, but the meal I just had at Bebop's blew my mind and I feel compelled to post!! I ordered a crispy chicken ranch club with some bop fries and it was AMAZING!!! By far hands down the best fries in town, and the chicken on the sandwich was to die for. The food was amazing when I got something to go twice. The third time I got food to go, I found a big hair on top of my fries. As a crazy shedder myself, I gave them another chance. The last time, I witnessed the cook making food with no gloves. He had long hair that was not pulled back or protected in anyway. It was probably his hair that landed in my fries the last time. I saw someone come in from outside after smoking and didn't wash their hands. If all of that is fine with you then go ahead. But just not for me. Thanks. read more

I need to update this review. Be-Bops has become a favorite for my husband and son. They love the burgers and the milkshakes. My son loves the mini cars on display. As a vegetarian I do appreciate that they have a garden burger available. There are also salads on the menu. Though it's more suited to meat eaters than to me, I think it's a fun, kid friendly dining experience and I'm glad to have them in Ukiah. read more

Spent a night in Ukiah before we drive up to Redwoods County. We were staying at the nearby hotel so decided to checkout this place for dinner. The restaurant is located in a not so great neighborhood but it didn't deter us from order foods to go. Kids menu were excellent along with burger options. This was one of the few restaurants open on New Year's Day, and we were glad to have a place to eat! Only one star for the food being descent...here's my complaint,ordered a Oreo milkshake which was fine till I got the bill,they charged me for the Oreo to be put in the milkshake..what!! Also charged for dressing for my salad and charged for the dipping sauce,no where on the menu til it say it was gonna charge you extra for an Oreo nor did the waitress mention about the charges...beware there are hidden charges here...never ever again read more

It's very strange. This place used to be a bank when I was growing up. Now its a cheesy 50s diner. The good news is this place is about a billion times better than it has any right to be. The food is good if a bit greasy, but in the best way possible. Service was friendly and attentive. Seems like a family run place. They had some decent vegetarian options. And very clean! At any rate, you don't need to wait until you're sick of everywhere else in town to try this place, like I did. It's pretty dang good. read more

WOW!!! Best place ever to stop in for a bite to eat on my way back to washing when passing through California. I came in about a week or so ago and had such a tasty meal and incredible customer service. My burger was absolutely delicious and my onion rings were the perfect side to pair with my burger. The boy who waited on my husband and I was absolutely exceptional! We told him it was our first time here because we are from out of state, and he went above and beyond to check on us and make sure the food was great. I have been to many fine dining establishments and do not even receive that type of exceptional service, and such tasty food! Next time I travel back to CA and pass through I will definitely be stopping back at bebops again! 5/5 star experience read more

Again, I would give less than 1 star if I could. I called in an order and specifically asked for a well done burger and said it twice in the conversation. I hate bloody burger!!!! Last time I was there and got one the Mexican lady said to order well done.. lot of good that does!! Nasty!! read more

After a long day at lake pilsbury on our way back to Santa Rosa we saw Be-bops and decide to stop and eat. I am so glad we did. The food was so good and came out quick. The kids were stuffed but wouldn't leave without a milkshake which were bomb! But what really made us happy was our waiter. He was the sweetest young man, so attentive and welcoming and his smile was contagious ! I wish I got his name but keep up the great work! We will be back ! read more

This place is exactly what you'd expect- a classic diner with a small staff, friendly attitude, and cheap food. Is it the "Best" food in the world? No, in the spirit of an old school diner, the meals are cheap, fast, and tasty. Get the classics if you come- a milkshake, maybe a roy rogers, a burger with fries, and maybe a sundae to finish you off. Don't overcomplicate it folks... if you come with a Michelin level palate, you're setting yourself up for failure. We've eaten here before today. The wait was always too long but acceptable when the food was good. We ordered the fish and chips. The fish was cold and the fries were soggy. When I told them they said they were sorry, me too! My review is edited to reflect my appreciation towards the owner. We stayed at the motel nearby and Be-Bops diner was recommended to us. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was of a classic diner. We ordered a couple sandwiches and they were way better than we expected. Delicious! Top it off with a great shake and it was pretty much the perfect diner meal. We still talk about this meal fondly literally 2+ years later. I accidentally left my credit card there and the owner went the extra mile to track me down which was very much appreciated. The steak was slightly overcooked, and the fettuccine was very saucy, so much so that I wanted to pour some off. What concerned me more was the undisclosed and added $5.25 "service charge" to my bill. This made my total over $50. including tip. seems pretty steep to me for a mediocre meal

With suggestions and attentiveness and really vibing with our needs. The restaurant was out of stock of my favorite dish (seared white albacore), but I was so happy our alternatives worked out to perfection. We were blessed with the first of their new beef dish they haven't launched on their menu quite yet and it was perfection. The beef melted and was savory and absolutely delicious. Give Jazmine a raise! Oh and our greeter, who I assume was the owner couldn't have been more gracious or kinder. I will definitely be back!

Twas a solo, business trip on a Friday night, so I was able to experience this place on full, local display. Sat at the sushi bar and I was able to watch the chef make my Oco personally. The only reason I left a star out is because as I sat at one of those bar spots, I was exposed to the back side of the deep fryer so not only was it warm but it was a touch scummy. It needed to be cleaned thoroughly. (To me that something you expect in Japanese culture is the expected cleanliness.) The service was not bad, perhaps not top notch, maybe due to the fact it was a full house with tables turning over. Overall well done and I will return.
