A deluxe cookie I think is around $6. But they serve them perfectly how I like cookies, soft, a tad crunchy and ooey gooey with whatever filling or chocolate. The salted caramel is one of my favs! It usually runs from $20 to $25 per bar. At Mixie's in The Food Lab, there was a Dubai chocolate bar displayed for $20. What made me decide to try it was that it was DARK chocolate. I bought it at the end of my time at the Food lab because I was worried it would melt on my way home because of the 99 degree weather. The young man who helped me was polite and rang it up quickly. I didn't try it until hours later. I think because it had been refrigerated at the shop and then was in my bag for several hours, it was slightly melted when I tried it but not bad. It was not as striking in texture or flavor as when I had some from the bakery in St Paul but maybe that's the difference between packaged and fresh? Very rich! I ate two squares only and saved the rest. I give Mixie's 5/5 and the Dubai chocolate 4/5.

I liked the taste of Mag Ave more than the chocolate lavender. They both had a similar texture. I liked the additions of chocolate chips and wafers that kept the texture interesting. I came back one more time the next day and got apple pie with mellow mint. Mellow mint is basically mint chip. The apple pie flavor was very good. It's my favorite of the four flavors I tried.
