Disappointed. I came all the way from Mentone to give this place a second try because my first visit during breakfast was really good. This time I came around 2 PM and it was a completely different experience. I ordered the chile relleno burrito, but it was mostly beans and rice. It seemed like the chile relleno had been re-fried just to warm it up because the egg batter was extremely greasy and didn't taste fresh. The chile itself was hard and difficult to bite into, and there was hardly any cheese inside. Was craving a breakfast burrito and this looked good from the pics. It's a cute place with a nice amount of seating. I walked up to the front and ordered my burrito to go. 11 bucks is t bad these days. Plus you get complimentary beans that are super good. It has chunks of sausage and ham in it. Delicious!!! We took a 12 min detour off the 210 to try La Tapatía on way home to LA from the mountain and OMG so glad we did. Chile verde enchilada, asada burrito (dry), chile verde burrito (wet) all were so, so good. Salsas and chow chow were incredibly fresh and wonderful. She also was thorough with all her answers and recommendations. I got the chicken mole enchiladas and they were delicious but the mole was on the sweet side which is not my preference but it was still good. Tiffany offered the complimentary frijoles charros, and they are delicious! I smaller the pineapple passion fruit agua frescas, and it was too sweet for me so I went with the lime and chia agua fresca and it was refreshing but a little too sour. Me and my wife got the red chilaquiles (have tried green and they are delicious) and they were great. I had one of the best breakfast burritos the "Mexican Burrito" asked for the 3 meats, dry. Let me tell you no salsa needed at all. Every bite was as delicious as the last. Cheese, beans, sausage, jamón con huevo, bacon, homemade tortilla and soft potatoes. The pork pozole is AMAZING. Woke up Sunday morning feeling hungry for a Mexican style brunch. This was the spot! I ordered a standard breakfast with pancakes and it was delicious.
