The plumber was nice and professional. The work done seems solid so far. I'm only disappointed that they quoted $295, and the final bill was $382. I wish they had gotten enough information to quote the correct cost when I scheduled the service. The difference was tax, credit card processing fee, and disposal fee to take away the old toilet. I was charged a $75 service fee for a technician to simply look at my toilet and confirm there was a crack. He told me the $75 would be applied toward the $350 installation fee if I installed a new toilet with them. Later, when I called back to proceed, they changed their explanation and said the $350 installation fee was already discounted and the $75 would not be applied. This was completely different from what I was told initially. Very disappointing experience. The pricing was inconsistent and misleading. Palisades Plumbing charged us $135 for a service call to fix a plumbing leak that we couldn't diagnose on our own, but noticed the sink cabinet was soaked. Palisades Plumbing could not find the leak after 5-10 min of investigation despite our cabinet floor being soaked under our sink. I wasn't happy considering we had to call a different plumber, who was more familiar with RO Systems apparently, and found two meaningful leaks in less than 5 min. The new plumber fixed both of them at a lower price. The new plumber even changed an RO alkaline filter he noticed that had not been swapped out at no cost. How nice! However, when I called Palisades Plumbing to express my dismay about what occurred during our service visits, and suggested to apply our service call fee to a future visit as a courtesy, they simply said no. I think the courteous thing to do would have been to accommodate our request considering their inability to find the leak and only staying on site for only 5-10 min. Palisades Plumbing does not seem to be focused on cultivating long term customer relationships based on their response to customer concerns. That's not how I would run a business, especially when you rely on repeat business and referrals in a community. read more

Well, now I am good to write a review to Palisades plumbing, after I got a second opinion and actual repair from another plumbing service. I just got a new home in Pacific Palisades, and after a week living in it my Mater's toilet stopped flushing properly. I had my warranty but - stupid me - was urged to fix an issue sooner. So I called up Palisades plumbing. They were quick and charged $180 for a visit. Plumber did NOTHING . He said that toilet needs to be changed completely because there was calcium buildup inside and it can not be fixed otherwise but exchanging it altogether. When I noted that it's 5 y old house and out of 5 toilets only one has a problem, which is strange if problem is hard water, he just waived me off. Well, I got my issue fixed thru my warranty by One touch plumbing in most efficient way a week after. read more

we knew we had a shower valve problem which can be completely overwhelming to consider the diagnosis--would the tile need to be replaced after digging a tunnel to the piping? would a tiny leak be a gusher waiting to happen?!!! Mario's expertise brought him fairly quickly to the shower head with removable cord that when hung was putting pressure on a gap in the valve that had to be resealed and secured with putty! Of course, I can't relate this in plumbing terms, but the point is--the service was smart, solved and reasonable within an hour! Refreshing like using our shower again with no leaking! read more

Although this small business was heavily impacted by the January 2025 Palisades Fire, they provided excellent value, quality, and service. As their voice mail message states, while they are working remotely due to fire loss, they are "there" for this fire-devastated community. We had been without hot water for more than a month after returning home, post-evacuation. Palisades Plumbing's response time was prompt, with service the following day. The technician, Miguel Guzman, was outstanding: on time, professional, courteous and respectful. He answered our questions and provided high-quality workmanship.
