Gary came out the next day, cleared the whole pipeline, and gave me advice for the next time. He only charged me way, way less than that $25,000. You should definitely hit up Gary if you're looking to get your problems fixed.

Someone finally came at 10pm, and I received multiple blocked calls from a representative upset that I wasn't there to let them in. Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen. I sent a message through Yelp describing the problem and a few minutes later I received a reply from the owner. I called Mandel, the owner, and he said he could come out that afternoon. That was yesterday. Mandel and his assistant were waiting for me when I arrived, both dressed in uniform with company info on the shirt. After I showed him the problem areas he and partner got to work. Mandel discovered there was a hole--more of a slit, in the middle of this piece of copper pipe (buried about 3 feet underground )--so weird. Have NO idea how could've happened...or WHEN! Mandel explained the damaged portion of the pipe needed to be removed and replaced, welded back together. He was transparent about the price and method of payment--uses Zelle, which is super convenient! During our conversation, though, I mentioned some other jobs that needed to be completed in the home. Well, before I could say, "do you know anyone who does...?", Mandel was telling me about his drywall & paint guy, his flooring guy, his electrical guy. But more than merely tell me about the tradesmen, he actually called them before he left so that I could coordinate a day/time to meet with them AND Mandel told them that HE would text them my contact information. What??!! I felt an incredible sense of relief knowing that most, if not all, of the remaining projects in the house will be completed. I requested service from Pacific Plumbing Team for a water heater tank that would not light. I called around and they had the best price for sending a tech out. They came the same day which was amazing and got it up and running again. The heater later went back out the next morning (it's a really old heater) and I was able to discuss options for fixing or replacing with quotes for cost of each option with them. There was no pressure to replace, just information. Everyone I spoke with was generous with their time and very informative. After all that the tech came to try one more time and got it lighted again. They could've just waited for me to buy a new one. Over and above customer service. Buying me some more time! I don't leave reviews and not that they need yet another 5-star review to add to their almost 1K perfect reviews, but they said they'd still appreciate one so I gladly leave this review. George and John are two very sharp and highly knowledgeable plumbers. From the initial call/text correspondence through work completion, they were very informative, personable, highly skilled, and extremely efficient plumbers. Never could I have imagined plumbing repair work could be such an easy and pleasant experience. I initially thought I was going with another plumber due to earlier availability but once I was quoted double by the plumber (also a family-run business with high Yelp ratings) who hadn't even attempted to see inside the shower part, I immediately reached back out to Rishon. Not once did I feel uncomfortable as is often the case with service providers who try to upsell and take advantage. To provide context, I was fully informed of the potential extent of repairs needed to resolve a leaking shower (old house with old fixtures), which could entail an entire valve replacement (requiring breaking of drywall) if a simpler cartridge replacement would not be possible due to calcification, and that this could only be confirmed upon physical inspection. However, to my utter surprise and delight, they were able to fix the leak without even having to replace the cartridge! They're incredible -- they inspected, took parts out, further inspected, maneuvered, blew, etc. and it was fixed. I was just taken aback by their honesty in letting me know this and their integrity to not even charge for this. Now the cartridge will likely need to be replaced at some point and they did let me know it's a part they've not come across but they're looking for it. They will be the ones to replace it when the times comes -- along with any other plumbing job in the future. They've got a new lifetime customer. They also did another job of flushing the water heater, which I understand is a must for regular maintenance. Straightforward, fast, and they come prepared with everything -- highly recommend to extend the life not only of your water heater but also your pipes and fixtures as well as to prevent leaks. Please think twice about this plumber…read more SoCalGas said I have a slow gas leak, and in order to restore service, a plumber would have to test and fix the leak. Less than 5 minutes after Jose's arrival -- WITHOUT doing any testing ... or even looking at the hookups (water heater, dryer & stove), he said I would have to replace ALL my gas lines. This did not sound right. When I asked him why he wasn't going to test the lines, he said "they're all underground" and shrugged, as if this was the obvious answer. When I pushed back, he said he could "test the gas meter for leaks" pointing to the couplings on the meter. Again, this made no sense -- the gas company had just tested the meter, and years ago I had the same situation and a plumber did pressurized air testing and fixed a small leak. When I told Jose I knew for a fact that lines can be tested he immediately pivoted in his tracks, quickly mumbling, "You don't understand...I'm outta here." (Well, Jose, I understood very well what you were about. And, yes, you are outta here.) Needless to say, despite what he told me on the phone, Jose clearly had no capacity or expertise to test my gas lines. He hoped I was ignorant and uninformed (and desperate to get the gas turned back on). He clearly tried to dupe me into believing I needed to REPIPE all my gas lines. Totally reprehensible, unethical, opportunistic behavior. BEWARE.
