I've dealt with a lot of setbacks in the past, and I was nervous about getting hurt again. From day one, Chelsea put me at ease. She took the time to really understand my background, my limitations, and my goals. Instead of giving me a one-size-fits-all workout, she designed a program that was tailored specifically for me. She made sure every exercise was safe, effective, and helped me build strength without aggravating old injuries. That level of attention and care made all the difference. Fast forward, and I've lost 57 pounds so far -- something I never imagined was possible when I first walked through the doors. More importantly, I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in my body than I have in years. Chelsea challenges me in the best way: she knows when to push me a little harder and when to adjust so I don't risk reinjury. It's a balance I've only ever had with one other trainer. Chelsea is not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly supportive. She celebrates every milestone with me, big or small, and keeps me motivated on days when I might not feel like showing up. Project Strong as a whole has created such a positive and encouraging environment, but having Chelsea as my trainer has truly been life-changing. I religiously followed the exercises that she suggested. Rather than a rigid routine, she taught me how to strategically select "a la carte" from my menu of mobility, strength, and core exercises. Today, my shoulder pain is long gone. My mobility is much better: I can raise my arms and stretch without any hitches or weakness. In fact, I enjoyed the circuit approach so much that I crafted my own home gym as I couldn't get the kind of workout I desired at a commercial gym. This was expensive, but since I live in VA, it was the best option for me. An added benefit was that when the pandemic hit, I was squared away! 3. I haven't been in this kind of shape in years! Doug's exercise section is vast and varied and he removes the most dangerous exercises. I would give Palladino Personal Training 10 stars if I could! I've been training with Nick for 11 years now. I was one of his first clients, and can't imagine "life without Nick." Thanks to Nick, I'm stronger at 65 than I was in my 40s. Seriously. I don't have any of the ailments my peer group typically has--my mobility, balance, alertness, strength are all great. I always thought I had a bad back because of a couple of bad discs, but 99% of the time I forget that it was ever an issue because of how strong I've become. Nick has worked with me throughout surgeries, moves, vacations, and other life changes. Throughout all these years, I have watched him evolve as a leader. He has shared his vision, knowledge and technique with the other trainers. During our sessions, we've talked about how he mentors them, and I am always impressed with his wealth of knowledge--not just about training and physical health, but also about motivation for both the client and the trainer, and how he encourages his highly qualified trainers to view each client as an individual with unique training needs. He interviews each trainer with great intention, making sure that they would be a good fit for his clientele. I can tell that he is a respectful boss, which means that turnover is low, which is really important when training. I am excited that there is now a studio with so much great equipment and a way to get to the fitness and strength levels we can all achieve with the patient help of Nick and his trainers. I've been training with Joey for about six months now and I'm thoroughly impressed with the results. Despite only training once a week, I've seen significant improvements especially in my legs, core and overall stability. Finally hiring a trainer is seriously the best thing I have ever done for myself. After a long illness and a lot of issues with muscle weakness and imbalance, I wanted to get back into running but kept injuring myself whenever I tried myself. I've worked out with Nick for five years or more. He's a great trainer, always pleasant, always ready with the program for the day. My schedule is like many in the tech space, unpredictable with travel and obligations. When he can, he's accommodating for changes. He goes at your pace but gently pushes you to higher goals. One day the studio was very cold -- Parkinson's makes it hard for me to regulate my body temperature -- so I closed the door. I was the only client working out at the time. Moments later, a man violently slammed the door back open in my face. No explanation, no apology. I later learned he was the owner. We adore our trainer, who went above and beyond to help, even arranging a meeting with the owner to address what happened. Instead of apologizing, the owner insisted I had violated the rules. All it would have taken was, "We keep the door open here -- please leave it, and let us know if you're cold." Instead, he doubled down. I trusted this studio with my health and my money. The gym itself is a great space, well-organized, and everyone shares it respectfully. I go early in the morning, and it never feels too crowded.
