These folks are not to be trusted . They kept piling on charges, asking for two supplements which ended up costing 50% more than their original estimate . They delayed everything. Finally they told me that a final repair must wait one month until paint had cured. I made an appointment, waited all day and was told that the expert couldn't come in to finish. When I had not heard back, after three weeks, I called and was informed that they needed another supplement from my insurance company which I had not been told when I made the final appointment nor when I brought the car in for the scheduled appointment . I am very disappointed and would never recommend them. read more

Best auto repair and bodywork shop EVER! Not only did they do an amazing job (used real OEM Toyota body panels, even!) but they washed, vacuumed, and waxed the vehicle. How's that for top-notch service? Jose was the technician that checked me in, and actually did the work. He's an amazing craftsman. Brandon and Giovanni kept me informed on how everything was going. Progress reports whenever something moved further toward being finished. Dom was great, too. Really takes pride in his shop. It's the little things that matter, once the 'heavy lifting' is done. This place was absolutely amazing, I cannot say enough about it! I had had a really disappointing experience trying to get my car fixed at a different shop. From the moment I came to Palm Beach Coachworks everybody was extremely professional, helpful, and prompt! Giovanni and Brandon were very helpful with getting me started and giving me updates on my car. They also assisted me with getting an affordable rental since I did not have coverage on my insurance. I agree with the negative reviews. The manager, giovanni is some peace of work. How will you know giovanni is manipulating you and cornering you? Just watch his mouth and assume anything coming out of it is just noise. The owners faith and dominick are no where to be found - not on the website, not at the offices. no emails or phone numbers to them directly. They don't post their license no or their coporate information in the office or on their invoices. That tells you a lot. Lastly, the assistant sonja, stay clear - she's a ticking time bomb ready to explode. yes. they do a cheap job for a cheap price. stay clear. read more

I can't tell you how many times I've taken my car into a body shop because there are so many... The amount of driving I do makes bumps, dings and scratches a normal occurrence. But what I can tell you is the number of times that I've been happy with the work that I've gotten done. That number is 1 and it was with Palm Beach Coachworks. Not only did their estimate come in a couple thousand dollars less than what I thought the damage was going to be, but they actually completed the work on time, gave the car back to me extremely clean and the work was to perfection. I have used Palm Beach Coachworks twice in the last year, both times to repair large dents on the body of the car, and once to replace a broken taillight. Both times the work was excellent. Geovanni was courteous and professional; he was a pleasure to deal with. He gave me fair and accurate estimates and there were no surprise costs at the end. He had our car picked up at our home, did the work on schedule and returned the car, all within a few days, even though he had to order a new taillight. Most important, the work was perfectly done. Car went in for minor front end repair from an accident; 2009 VW Jetta Wolfsburg. Came back with hood and lights all wrong. Hood seemed too long/hooded over the headlights. It appears they used non-oem, perhaps used/refurb parts. Doesn't look right. Worse, they apparently can't properly recode a car after taking battery out either. Stereo doesn't work now, which was working when I dropped it off, but of course the stereo now not working as soon as I pick it up is all just a big coincidence. What a crock. Please, whatever you do, do NOT take your vehicle here for any type of repair. They not only do a poor job, but also do not care and do not stand behind their work. My wife noticed the front end looked goofy as soon as she saw it... You're telling me their "professionals" (I use the term loosely) didn't notice what my accountant wife picked up on right away?! It's not even her car... Filing a complaint with Progressive Insurance, BBB and Attorney General's office as soon as I get my paperwork together with an assessment from a real shop. Probably won't matter as places like this don't really care, but my advice on this one is easy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I'll update once we get the assessment from a real shop. read more
