I would consider myself a pretty fit person or I would like to think so. I work out five to six times a week with P90X but wanted to change it up a little. Being inside, working out hard for an hour can get kind of boring. I heard about PBC Boot Camp through some friends and thought I would try it out. I am not going to lie, I was really skeptical as to it being a challenge for me due to P90X being a pretty strenuous. I thought I would do the free trial and if it was easy then I wouldn't sign up for the six weeks. By the end of the first night of Boot Camp I was drippping in sweat and was psyched!!! I LOVED it!!!! What a great workout!!! You better believe I signed up for the six weeks! I find myself to pushing myself so much harder then being in my house by myself working out. If your extremely fit, moderate or havent worked out in years, this is the way to go! The workouts are different every day. It keeps my body guessing at all times! I do not like exercising, I loathe running, and I despise idea of spending any amount of time outdoors. That being said - I started PBC Boot Camp with the intention of going for only 6 weeks to lose some weight for the holidays and then going back to my exercise-less life full of torturous dieting. I signed up without going to the free trial as I did not want an excuse to stop going after one workout and... I loved it! Although the workouts are intense and challenging, they are doable. The trainers and people who attend are encouraging and accepting of everyone whether you are a serious athlete or someone who has not exercised in over 3 years (me!). Most importantly at the end of the day you feel fantastic about what you have accomplished and you see and feel results very quickly. I definitely will be signing up again. If you are looking for a change and you find yourself unmotivated and in need of an extra push then this will be the gym for you. From being instantly greeted to hearing the upbeat music the doubt is instantly left outside the doors. Not only will the trainers work with you and modify if necessary but, the amount of support members give each other is truly amazing. Another awesome thing is that this gym does is it breaks down different muscles groups to workout daily. Meaning they keep your body muscles confused which is great because we are here for the gains. They offer multiple classes which works well with a busy schedule and for any newcomers they offer a 7pm class. I started boot camp three weeks ago. In those three weeks, I have pushed myself and done exercises that I never imagined I could do. I have lost over 20 pounds and I feel more energized. The trainers are caring, enthusiastic, and will tailor the exercises to fit the needs of the individual. Don't let the term "boot camp" fool you, the trainers at PBC Boot Camp motivate you and build you up. You are encouraged to succeed and you will never be criticized for your shortcomings. I have never felt judged by the trainers or the other boot campers. PBC Boot Camp fosters a very supportive environment. I am so glad that I found out about PBC Boot Camp. PBC Boot Camp is awesome! The trainers are very energetic, love helping you getting in shape, working out and dieting tips.They love what they do. I did 12 weeks worth boot camp and never felt so good. Its such an adrenaline rush and keeps you wanting to go back for more. I may not have gone every day every week, but the days I did go my butt got kicked and I felt great. I recommend going with a friend so you can have a partner working out with you and keep you motivated. I'm now living in NYC and wishing I was back in Palm Beach to do this boot camp again. I have been doing boot camp for almost 2 years ... i used to be a fat person , not able to run a 100 meters , not able to do 10 jumping jacks , well .... BOOT CAMP totally change my life .... now .... I started Palm Beach County Boot Camp in late December 2010. I have never been happier and more motivated. The awesome people that you have the priviledge of meeting and exercising with is amazing. The workout is amazing. The trainors are supportive and keep you wanting to come back for more. Excellent programming with the kind of high-intensity interval training that would be familiar to anyone who has done Crossfit, but without the gymnastic elements that a lot of folks find challenging / stuff that might make shoulder surgery necessary. I started boot camp 3 weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! Every day presents a different challenge, and the trainers make everything fun. The location allows for a fun work out, too.
