My pool deck was just refinished by Palm Beach Resurfacing. I had been a complete mess. It had been repainted by a Painting company 4 years ago, repainted again after it was bubbling by the same company and I repainted it this year and bubbling again. Thank GOD for my finding Ted and his company. They took off all of the old paint by grinding down the concrete and then did all of the steps to apply a new textured concrete look. My pool deck looks beautiful. My neighbors love it and asked for the name and phone number. All of his employees and his son were amazing, polite, knowledgeable, friendly and always responded to my questions. The work was done on time as per our schedule. I couldn't ask for anything more. Ted and his team were unbelievable to work with. He came out on a Sunday to spend time explaining the process. His estimate was very reasonable compared to others we received. He was happy to work with our schedule. They came on the day we agreed on. All of his team are friendly, experienced and great at their job. Ted physically checks in often during the day. I had read an old review that was really unfair. It had a lot of complaints about paint selection. Ted literally came here with paint samples as requested and physically painted large swatches until we were happy with our choices. He was willing to do this as many times needed until we were pleased. Ted and his crew are professional, talented, respectful and truly a pleasure to work with. Very dissatisfied with Palm Beach Resurfacing! After assuring me I could select colors and design of the pattern , his painter walked off the job when I expressed that I didn't like the color (which came out orangish) and the random black circular blotches. I immediately called the owner who proceeded to use profanity and hang up on me. he did not call back to apologize. Since then he has been unprofessional and unresponsive. This company was referred to us by a neighbor who had their lanai concrete painted to look like stone tile in a light white/ cream color. I was impressed with the results. When the owner came to quote on painting my side patio, I explained that I wanted my side patio done in darker colors so that the mud and dirt from the garden wouldn't show as much. I showed him my front entry and garage tile and asked if he could make it look similar to that but in taupe/ gray colors to match the flagstone walkway to my back patio. He gave me a H&C brochure and told me I could selected any mix of colors. He told me his painter was talented, that he would be able to match the natural colored flagstone walkway and that I should discuss my color selection with him directly when he came. When his painter showed up Monday morning I pointed out a possible mix of taupe, brown and gray from the brochure I was given. He brought out a chestnut brown, chocolate brown and black paint which I later learned were not H&C colors. I asked him again for the Sandstone and grayish colors and he said he didn't have them. He proceeds to paint sample tile and it looked like it might work but I explained that I wanted to be available when he was painting because of my concern about him achieving the color tones I desired given he wasn't using the paint colors I had selected. When the owner quoted on the job he failed to tell me that the entire process would take days maybe weeks if it rained. I attempted to coordinate my work schedule to stop by repeatedly to see the process which was stressful given they were not good communicators. When the painter finally started painted the first layer of color on Friday morning before I left for work it looked very nice so I figured he knew what he was doing. I texted him less than 1 1/2 hours later at 1pm to see how it was going. He told me he had to stop due to rain and wouldn't be back that day because he was assigned to a different job. That night I texted the owner to see if they would be coming Saturday since it was supposed to be sunny. He confirmed they would. The painter showed up around 9:30. Apparently he had to redo part of what he had done the day before because it got damaged by the rain. I waited all morning for him to start darkening the tiles which he kept saying would happen within the hour, then he disappeared without telling me. I went to run an errand and texted to see if he was back and had started using the black to darken it. He said yes so I ran home to have a look. When I got back he had painted a second layer of chestnut brown which looked way too orange and random black circular patterns in about 10 tiles. I immediately told him I didn't like the blotchiness and color tones. He got angry, said he was hot and sweaty and that the paint was not grabbing properly. He proceeded to tell me that it was his birthday, that he didn't want to be here and that if he could proceed and finish that day without coming back again he was leaving. I told him that I didn't want him to continue using the same colors. I wanted the original taupe color selections I like from the brochure. He told me to talk to the owner and walked off the job. When I called the owner and told him the colors were not those I had selected from the brochure and that I didn't expect the job to go into 2 weeks, he screamed " it hasn't been two F...ing weeks" and hung up on me! He never called back to apologize. On Sunday even though I was appalled by his unprofessional behavior I texted him to ask him to come look at the job before sending the painter back on Monday. His response was "I think it looks amazing- Let an artist do his work" Sorry Ted but I am the customer and should not be forced to accept what you think looks amazing. They also left their massive dryer on my walkway and still haven't called to arrange pick it up. read more

If you want poor communication this company for you! We contacted on a Sunday & totally get, Sunday, didn't expect reply. Called & texted following Tuesday & still nothing. Received text Wednesday & scheduled Saturday to come out & do assessment of job. We looking @ over $7,000 for driveway & $1,500 for garage so no small job! Quote came in Monday & said "great, let me know when you can schedule us", even sent email Tuesday saying "understand busy, just give me a date please"; no reply until following Tuesday, "we ready to start 2/23"; huh?!? I really can't say enough about Palm Beach Resurfacing, Inc 5 stars just doesn't do it. I must have searched for 50-60 local companies that were trying to push their very expensive rates for one type of product. Ted was the only company in the palm beach county area that had an alternate solution for a fraction of the cost. Most people think a fraction of cost they think lack of quality and that is far from the truth I have never seen a more thorough flooring/resurfacing company work with such a fine tooth comb. 10 stars for Palm Beach Resurfacing! I hope everyone out there that needs their floors done gets to have a conversation with either Tim or Colin masters of their craft and a pleasure to work with. Extremely poor and sloppy workmanship by the owners son. The actual owner NEVER did any work personally. Owner was given opportunity to correct issues and failed to do so. A job that was promised for 3 days took over 3 months and is still a mess. Would not recommend this company at all. Absolutely terrible! read more

We hired Palm Beach Resurfacing to upgrade our pool patio. We chose the simulated travertine, which was completed by hand shading the entire patio. The patio looks amazing! TJ was extremely easy to work with and you could tell the company cares about its craftsmanship and customers. Really enjoyed working with T.J., and loved the work Palm Beach Resurfacing did on my patio! The patio was chipping badly from a prior improper installation. The guys worked in a methodical, professional manner removing the old deck, repairing all the cracks, leveling the deck, applying the texture, and cutting the improved drain. Was very happy we didn't have to drain the pool. They also went above and beyond the scope of the job and removed a 4 X 4 concrete structure that we used as counter space, free of charge! Additionally, T.J. sent a pool service to the house to clean the pool after the job was done. That was unexpected. Completely satisfied! read more
