I don't think it's fair to leave negative reviews about anyone personally based on a single interaction because we all have bad days, and we never truly know what someone may be going through behind the scenes. That's why, instead, I make it a point to acknowledge exceptional experiences whenever I can. In fact, I've left multiple reviews over the years for many of the wonderful young women I've met behind the counter at different Palm Beach Tan locations. With that being said, I'd like to recognize Alylafor making such a positive impression. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm, welcoming smile and made me feel comfortable right away. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. Front desk staff here were first rate! Pulled my old profile up in the system and got me signed up in a positive and productive manner. Both ladies passed the vibe check! I come here regularly for a session with the Red Light Beauty shaper. This machine is a Godsend for fighting seasonal depression! The customer service at this location is absolutely terrible. There have been some issues with getting my membership transferred but I wasn't concerned about that today. Just wanted to tan. The girl who claimed to be the manager was at best ill informed and at worst combative and rude. I never got to tan so I can't comment on their beds. read more

I like this location. It's clean, you don't need an appointment and the staff even though they are always very young girls, they try their best to give you a good customer service. I suggest the management invests more time training the staff so they had more knowledge about which products to offer us depending on our skin tone, etc. But overall, I really enjoy going there. read more

This is the worst Palm Beach Tan I have been to. I walked in 10 minutes before closing, and they said they were already closed. The lady working was extremely rude and clearly just wanted to leave work early. Don't say you close at 10 if you're not actually going to close at ten. I had a vacation at five in the morning, and I was no longer able to get a tan before. No, other locations are like this, Palm Beach Tan is great, but this location is just awful. read more

I like this place! I don't know why there are bad reviews! The only thing they could do to make it better would be an extremely expensive remodel of the location, but for what it is I can't complain about anything. And I haven't found a better place here the old darque tan location that they used to have near here is the only better one in town and it closed & was run by the same people. Lol read more

Their refund policy is a total sham. Do not do business with this organization. The people that worked there were nice, no issues with them. The tan quality was very poor, I was orange from both sessions, and that was at medium, top level Versa, at almost $80 a month. They wanted me to go to dark, which would have been a nightmare. And it broke my skin out. A friend sent me to a YouTube video for a DIY solution for Jergens Light Bronze, maybe $20 A month after you get your initial items you need, much higher quality tan for 75% less money, and no negative skin reaction. Palm Beach corp said each session is valued at $48 which is totally ridiculous; check around in the market. Bottom line, it was their way of getting out of refunds. I dont do business with people I can't trust. read more

Terrible experience. This may be the worst review I've left on Yelp, because I really don't like being a negative person. I went once for a spray tan. Was crazy expensive for 10 min with a machine and some spray. Went a second time and was talked into a three pack to reduce the cost. Then I went back and they lost my pack In the computer. Then I went back again and my pack was expired... so... there went $90. I regret ever going. Which is sad. I was so excited to start going here more regularly before long. read more

There is a lady that works there who always complains about how busy she is and will make you wait 20 min just to sell someone lotion or an upgrade. I have the most expensive package and she always says there isn't a bed clean so I have to go down a level. Tanning is suppose to be fast and relaxing. She is the worst and they are clearly paid on commission makes it a headache. read more

2nd time this morn. Last time cost was $25 for 12 min tan. Crappy bed, she said it was comparable to tanning on a cloudy day. Waste of time. Gave it another shot. 12 min ended up stopping after 10 min!! Ugh again! $27.50 today (one week later) and the sale they harped about last time for 4th of July was a one day only sale for $5! Not the entire week (which was what I thought she'd said.) This girl is Tamae or was wearing that name tag (brown straight hair, at front in morning at 9 am, Friday.). I went there in February, I specifically asked if there's a reoccurring payment they said "NO MA'AM" so I went ahead an paid for a month of unlimited tans... quit going at the end of the month.. just checked my bank (2 months later) an I see a random charge for Palm Beach tan for $120.00... called an they gave me the run around, never refunded my money I had to go thru my bank an dispute the charge which I was later refunded through my bank. I stopped coming to this location because I couldn't walk in without the manager trying to sell me $180 lotion... I've purchased lotion here multiple times but I guess they must make commission now because they try and up sale you at this specific location every time you walk in. They got rid of all the level one beds without any sort of notice and forced everyone to upgrade their memberships or not be allowed to tan. Not worth the membership anymore in my opinion. read more

I'm a total tanning novice trying to get tan for my upcoming wedding. Everyone at this location has been amazingly sweet and helpful. Special shout out to Kelly. Kelly was super patient answering my questions and explaining how to use the bed and pros and cons of the lotions. Also my only fear of tanning has been damaging my tatoos.
