I have been tanning here for almost a year now and I just wanted to comment on how great this salon is. It definitely feels like home. I know all the staff and you can tell that everyone there really cares about their customers. I always feel like they know everyone and are genuinely interested in our lives. The whole staff is great but Emma the manager is always helpful. She definitely goes above and beyond to make sure that I'm getting the best tan possible. My first tan was a little weak (silver level), but I tried to gold on my second visit and I'm happy with the results. I decided to update my review! So since I initially reviewed things have looked up! I received and email a couple months ago from corporate PB Tan stating they have given me a credit to try a walk in tan again for another experience, so I I decided to try again. I didn't have a port customer service experience the first time at all, it was mainly cost that I felt were pretty steep for a one time tan. However, I went today to another location (not the one I orignally posted on) to use my credit and get a one time spray tan. Customer service and facility was very clean and exceptional, however what was really awesome is they lowered their prices for spray tanning. It is great to seem the company taking interest and receptive to feedback from their customers. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience it again! read more

If you want to be CONSTANTLY blindsided by the LACK OF FUNCTIONALITY of the spray tan equipment then become a member. I have gotten to the point that I've had to call every time to check if machines are working. Such a huge downer if you have an important event you want to look good for. There's only so much smoothing over, apologies and vouchers the front desk customer service people can offer. The corporate offices of Palm Beach Tan need to GET OFF OF THEIR BUTTS and get new machines and make sure they're being properly maintained. This place is horrible when it comes to billing... They can't get anything right. Last year when I found out I was pregnant I canceled my membership. Come to find out a couple months later I have all kinds of charges on that card because they never stop billing me - 7 months worth of charges! (This was a card that I only used for that one reason so I never thought To check it- because I knew I cancelled). I called and they told me that they would not refund that money even though I canceled (went in and signed paperwork that apparently they "misplaced") ..that they would just give me the seven months free after I had my baby and was able to tan again. I was upset but I agreed. When I went in to redeem my seven months of free tanning they told me I was obligated to provide a credit card but it would not be charged. I did not plan on staying at this tanning location after I redeemed what was owed to me - so I was very hesitant to give them my credit card BUT in order to get my moneys worth of tanning - that I had already unwillingly paid - for I had to. Of course, now I check my credit card statement and I have a charge from them... Go figure. I spoke with Emma the manager and she pretty much told me too bad so sad- that I signed a contract- which I didn't. She said if I freeze my membership (still pay them for something I'm not using) then she will refund me but if I cancel it she won't. I'm going to call the corporate office today and believe me I will get my money refunded. I enjoyed tanning here while I did - but it is definitely not worth the hassle and having the feeling of being ripped off all the time. read more

I have been going to this location for years I really never had a problem. For the past year now it seems very congested to spray tan ..waiting hours to spray or the spray machine is broken. Frustrating when every month they get your money regardless..all the girls are very sweet and try to accommodate as much as possible if it's an over packed situation.. However, the condescending manager "acts" the sweet part but really it feels fake and she could care less !!most people having a life and we don't have the time to wait around for hours just to spray tan. All that being said as much as I love the look I would rather find an alternative due to the lack of customer service by this place! Note to manager and owners of the palm beach tan : spray tan is very popular at this location and with all the money u charge monthly for us to tan u really should invest in another spray booth!! Also this area is growing so I'm sure the business will ..so please consider this ! People don't have hours of down time to wait for a tan!!!! read more

I have a wedding Oct 3 and I needed to get my tan on. I walked into Palm Beach Tan to set up an account after I spoke to a nice girl who explained I needed to build an even coat before spray tan . The day I came in their system was down , Kendall was running the shop all by herself . Client after client , after client kept walking in while she was trying to tend to the system problem with corporate , and help everyone. She had a smile on her face the whole time . Granted with all the problems that day I waited about an hour but I understand they were having technical difficulties . Anyway Kendell was very helpful , sweet and professional . We started up the gold membership. I was informed up the start up fee and the monthly fee and how it would all be charged . I got my first tan on that day. The beds were clean and set up very nicely. Don't come here if your in a hurry! ! They always seems to be low staffed I've waited up to 20 min to find that there is no bed available. You have to wait until the employee is done signing up the customer and gives them a tour. Takes way to long! read more
