I would try to book the person I had last time for some kind of consistency -- and, even though I would specifically choose appointments based on the waxing specialist listed at the time, whenever I arrived, I was just told someone else would be doing my waxing. The last time I went it was a brand new person--in fact, she said it was her first week--and the experience was incredibly painful. It made me question what kind of training she had been given. Additionally, she did a different service than what I requested! At the end, she explained she had been "distracted" and gave me what the previous customer asked for. I recently went somewhere else, and the experience was entirely different and not hardly painful at all (and yet an equivalent cost). This location would benefit from better management and training.

Yes, it's a bit of a hoof, but I will gladly brave the distance and traffic to get my hair done here! Plus my daughter's friend Kyra works here, heyyy girl! (Kyra also does quality work) The salon is light and airy without being pretentious. Wood floors, deep blue accents and a minimalist design, yeah, works for me. The music is just right and they play a mix. You will receive a relaxing hand massage, mini facial, and coffee, tea or water, of course. I can't complain about the fees either, total win! Nicole did not 'push' products either , she just mentioned one or two that I could benefit from using, even told me how to mix one of them with another product I already have for maximum smoothing. The clientele is mixed, from soccer moms to tattooed, men and women. Check site for hours and they are closed on Monday. Follow them on Facebook for specials and updates. Salon Bella was a very pleasant surprise. I've been a loyal client here for three years. When my longtime stylist left, I switched to a new…read moretechnician who is talented, but my retention suddenly became very poor. Within five days of my last refill, I was visibly missing at least half of my lashes, with full fans falling onto my shirt. My stylist and I had been trying to troubleshoot together, so I went in simply to show what was happening in real time ,not to ask for anything free. Instead of being met with curiosity or problem-solving, I was immediately lectured about aftercare, interrupted multiple times, and spoken to with an attitude. I was pressed about whether I washed my lashes three times a week (it was only day five), and when I tried to explain what I was experiencing, I was told to "listen" rather than be heard. Then I was informed that because my stylist wasn't present, I wasn't eligible for any kind of consideration by her and that complimentary fixes are only offered within 48 hours of application. At no point did I ask for a free refill; I simply wanted someone to look at what was happening and help determine the cause or document for my stylist who wasn't present. Instead, I was treated as if I were trying to take advantage of the salon. This interaction should have been handled very differently. If a client is experiencing unusual shedding, the appropriate response is to document the issue, take photos, and follow up with the stylist and manager not to scold the customer or dismiss their concerns. For $180 plus tip a month, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and a clear escalation process when problems arise. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear that those things are not in place, which is why I ultimately cancelled my membership. Potential clients should be aware that if something goes wrong, you may not be treated with the care or respect you'd expect.

When you walk in you see her display of makeup products and some little water bottles. It's a super cute place! Before we started, she had me fill out paperwork about any medical history, my skin care routine, and what I would like to achieve with the service. I've never done dermaplaning, but Elena walked me through each step and made me feel comfortable. First, she cleanses your skin. Then she goes through with the Dermaplaning which is scalping off the top layer of dead skin to help regenerate a new layer. You can't make sudden movements since she is using a scalpel, but I found it relaxing! Elena has so much knowledge about skin and told me I have very dry skin. She talked about what products would be helpful in aiding my dry skin and gave me a huge reminder to use sunscreen. Will be adding that and the hyaluronic acid serum to my skincare routine. After that she cleanses my face again and put a hot towel over my face to help open up the pores. She used a machine (I forgot what it's called), but it looks like a spatula and vibrates to help push out black heads and other gunk in my face. She even pushed out a stubborn blackhead for me after and popped a little zit I had near my forehead. This part hurt the worst! She also did a little peel treatment for me. I just couldn't remember if it was before or after the blackheads part. She then cleanses my face again, put a sample of the hyaluronic acid and moisturizes my face. I am not going to lie my face was a little red and I had red scraped spots from where she pulled out blackheads and my face was not looking pretty!!! Luckily you can wear makeup and go about your normal routine 30 min-an hour after the treatment. Later that night my skin peeled a little bit by my chin which was fine! Nothing too crazy. She even gave me a couple samples to take home. This is the second day after my treatment and I must say, any acne scars and red spots have faded a lot just from treatment!
