Adams name popped up with 5 solid stars and I was immediately intrigued. His reviews were amazing, for very good reason. Then i saw his prices, for a second I thought this was too good to be true but the reviews were persuading enough for me to give him a call. I left him a voicemail and he returned my call within 10 minutes. Very nice and professional on the phone. He was able to get me in the next day at my time preference. This was amazing. Adam's hands are meant for massage. They are strong and they know just the spots to hit. I had been extremely sore, from daily exercise and neck strain from reading. He spent ample time on whatever spots I asked. My soreness has improved tremendously since I had his massage a week ago. I did not feel nervous or weird around him at all, as a younger woman in a mans house getting a massage. It was a warm and relaxing environment and Adam was very laid back yet professional. I also happen to know a lot about serial killers and all that, but when someone else said that they chose to go to a strange man's house for a massage and take off their clothes and it was amazing, I believed that Internet stranger! And guess what, guys? Adam is amazing. It was the fastest hour of my life, and I nearly fell asleep. Adam knows how to put one at ease, not just with massage but with his demeanor. I will absolutely be back, and have recommended him to friends already. The fact the first one is only $25 is a huge selling point, and it was $25 well spent to say the least. I messaged him on Yelp and had a massage the next morning. (You may not want to start your day like this, turns out. Choose the kind, and strength by the messieurs. email communication was professional in acknowledgement, and answered questions. We were even told to book and pay separately, so we could each use a Groupon. It was super easy to find forms on the website to print, fill out, and bring with us. Such a time saver, rather than fill them out in the lobby on a clipboard. Two friendly ladies met us at the door on a Saturday late morning. DenAsh Massage shares some space inside a medical building. Plenty of parking in the private lot. The property is older and just needs a facelift. Be careful of pot holes. We split up into separate rooms. I later found out that hers was 1/3 of the others size. Mine was large enough for a couples massage. She also said the towel warmer was not working in her room. Once I turned over, I was draped with a warm towel on my neck, shoulders, and back. The heat helped to start loosening up those muscles. I was a little put off by choosing my own scent of oil that would be used during the head and face aromatherapy. Low light atmosphere, trying to read and smell bottles with the aid of a cell phone flashlight. I would prefer 2 choices or an unscented. Not twelve. Very nice massage. I always go Swedish with a new therapist. I can always ask for more attention to specific areas. A therapeutic massage can be too aggressive to fast. That just leaves you sore and aching. You have to be verbal. What you like and don't. It's like scratching a pet. You just guess. They lean into you if they love it,or turn away if they don't. Clean space with no odd smells. Nothing pretentious, like robes and monogrammed uniforms. Just your standard low light, low music/sounds, warm padding, on clean linens. Groupon or not, we will go back. My wife liked the special attention given to her sensitivity in the legs. They do take credit cards with a cell phone card reader. They won't answer their phones,return a phone message or email so they pretty much stole my money!!!! My next step is reporting them to the BBB and Attorney General. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The person who quit texted me once and said the owner is not paying employees and stealing customers money not to ever go there and wanted me to pay her on the side if we still wanted the massage.

I got out of my comfort zone maybe most of the time during the whole 60 minutes of barre. Lindsay G thank you so much for putting this event together. Both you and Allison rocked this class. Allison was our instructor and really good one. For a person with very little barre experience she made me feel super comfortable learning it with the small movements to the weights and barre itself. Everything Allison did she talked you through in the class. You can tell Allison had a lot of experience in this and when I talked to her after the class I learned she used to teach barre in Chicago and moved her later to teach at Otterbein and Bexley Yoga. She made the class so much fun too, like she let us pick out out music which was 90's themed and everything just feel into place from there. Lindsay also got us these cute pair of barre socks too. We all modeled them at the end with our barre poses. I would totally come back here again and not just take barre but also try the yoga classes to help with my anxiety and stress. The Yay: -Easy online registration -Low key, casual studio with water station and restroom off to the side -Nice playlist during my flow class -Clear instruction -Free mat rental -Super convenient to where I was staying in Bexley The Meh: -$18 for a drop in class reads on the spendy side to me, even with the free mat usage -I take a practice a fair amount of hot (flow) yoga, and this flow class seemed super fast. As in I didn't have very much time at all to stretch or settle into any pose in particular. It felt rushed throughout, with the exception of shavasana. I'd definitely try Bexley Yoga again next time I'm in the neighborhood to hopefully get a better picture of their practices.

Sam was very friendly and professional. I would go back to her again the next time I visit. She started off dermaplaning my skin. For those of you who do not know what that is (I didn't), your face is basically getting the first layer shaved off. It is not painful per say but you do feel it. Then an enzyme mask was put on the newly uncovered skin. It was an intense experience with slight to mild burning sensations for me. Each person's irritant levels are different and it may not be as bad or maybe stronger than I felt. Remember that glowing skin I mentioned? You do feel radiant once it is all over. The massage was wonderful. Keep in mind that the massage only includes your arms, neck, and shoulders. It is not full body. A top favorite of the session was the massage, and the warming blankets you get to cocoon yourself into.
