This is probably the worst tanning establishment in the Valley. I am a huge fan of Palm Beach but out of all the locations, this by far is the worst. The staff drowns you in sale pitch after sale pitch on their lotions. This happens every single time I walk though their door. I thought Body Heat was bad. I don't feel like I need to be picked on as soon as I walk in through the door when all I wanna do is tan. And once you say no to what they're offering, the girls become stuck up or snooty just because you wouldn't by anything. Last month's payment was also charged twice!! I'm canceling my membership. I was so impressed with the customer service tonight! I've been coming to the location here on Eastern and Coronado for over a year but tonight the girl helping me out went above and beyond to help me. I was 'that' customer tonight that came in at 9:47 (I know super annoying and inconsiderate...and normally I would never go in that close to closing time....but I'm leaving on vacation and my pasty white booty needed some color....anyways) and she told me about how normally 9:45 is the cut off time for spray tanning. I plead my case and she got me back into a booth. I would have expected eye rolling and snide remarks about my late timing but she was so understanding and professional with a smile to top it off. Im super upset with palm beach tan! I waited for 1 hour to use the mystic tanner & this month it wasn't working so I had to use the versa and I hate the versa because it doesn't work well with my skin (this is the second time this happened and I only get 1 a month so it's bs) then I checked my bank statement and they are now charging me 25 a month instead of 14.99 so now I want to cancel! Also every time I go to do a cocktail every location says a different thing about my membership. I'm just over it. read more

The service is great, once you get past some of the the upper management making you feel like a complete moron, when it comes to tanning and tanning lotions. The place is clean and well maintained. This location is AWFUL. The Mystic Tan has been broken for about 3 weeks. I was offered a free Versa for the inconvenience, which I later found out I was charged for. When I brought it to the manager's attention (I believe her name is Jessica) she very nervously and incoherently yelled in my face for about 5 solid minutes, explaining absolutely nothing. If I could rate this place based on cleanliness and tans 5 stars. Staff is a 1 star. I am only writing this because I have been waiting 35 min for a spray tan. I have a lot of tattoos and don't like tanning with lights so I don't appreciate being hounded to upgrade to anything when I make it clear I only spray tan. Now back to today...I come in, check in and start to head back only to be told someone is heading into the spray tan booth after they tan. Ok how long till they spray? 12 min is what I'm told. Well it takes all of 5 min to spray so couldn't I be moved up and then the person who is still in a bed get sprayed after me? Apparently not. Been tanning here for over a year. Machines always broken. Mystic tan never works. Anytime I go in the machine I want is down for repair, needs cleaning, is being detailed, bla bla bla. Also they allow you to tan once a day but they do it by the exact 24 hrs. So if you tan on monday at 5pm and go in on tuesday at 4:45pm they say "oh sorry you are too early you have to wait" total bs. read more

Probably the worst run company I have ever dealt with. I tried giving them a second chance after signing up with them and having multiple issues but that was an awful idea. I got an email saying they are doing a special for $19.95 for a monthly package of spray or sun beds. I opted for the spray. Apparently, their version of a monthly spray package means 1 time only. I've tanned at this location for over 5 years. In the last year it got awful. The stand up beds got recalled which I understand is not their fault. But the music never working is. I upgraded from level 2 to level 4 just so I could use the bed with built in music controls. Wouldn't you know that after using it once, it broke. So there was a month upgrade waisted. Then to address the music issue they were nice enough to upgrade me to level 3 ( there's one bed with built in music which is great) until the music issue was fixed. Once the music was fixed I was back to my stand up level 2 and music but I don't call muffled bass with no volume music. The place is a disaster it's always something. So after 5 years I just canceled my membership and no one even cared to ask why. read more

This is my first experience at any tanning salon, so I don't have anything to compare it to. With that said, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the beds are always clean. They provide a towel and sanitized UV-blocking goggles for each tanning session. Also, they always make sure I get the bed that has most recently had its bulbs changed, which I really appreciate. Their sales pitch is a bit strong when you first start - but that is to be expected. I was apprehensive to come in because of the other negative reviews, but thought to myself, "how bad could customer service at a tanning salon really matter?" Well, it does. I was told upon initial purchase that my package would not expire, but apparently it did after two months. Came here for the first time yesterday and back again today. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and space. I've been to other tanning places that came recommended to me and I was very disappointed by how dirty they were. I've been a member here for a long time and have never had a complaint until now. I recently had my debit card stolen and took care of it at the Rainbow location where I received excellent service. I showed up to tan after work tonight at 915 where Carly already had the mop out and was ready to close. She informed me I couldn't tan since my debit card was stolen although I have already paid for my whole month of December in cash(since my bank just sent my new card to me and have yet to receive it)! Best salon and customer service in Vegas! I suggest coming here! Very clean, professional, knowledgeable, great pricing, plenty of options, etc. The list goes on! I love Jade specifically. She is the main reason I tan here, Her and the manager are great every time I tan. They always remembers me and I love talking with them. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. I honestly think people just don't pay attention when the girls are talking and that's why they don't know things about their accounts or get angry at the girls for "not telling them" when I know they are very thorough. I've seen it first hand when I came to the salon one day as Jade was standing there getting yelled at by someone because they couldn't pay their bill. First off, it's not her fault, Secondly you shouldn't be tanning if you can't afford to pay your bills. People just need to relax and know that the girls have your best interest. I have been going to palm beach tan for years. I took a break and then signed up for a new membership two months ago along with a 3 spray tan package that was offered to me by the front desk employee. I have already upgraded my membership to a more expensive one. I came in to use my last spray tan package, but Noelle at the front told me "it expired" (read other reviews, apparently this happens a lot). Well, I was never told they had an expiration date. When I explained that to noelle, her response was, "we always tell everybody. We don't ever forget. Anything bought outside the membership has an expiation date" in such a tone that apparently I'm a complete idiot. I've been in the customer service industry for over 20 years, never have I been treated like I was an idiot for not knowing their internal, unposted, uninformed policy or been called a liar until now. When I said I wanted to speak to a manger I was told there was none available until Friday (it's tues). So I insisted on the corporate number. Based on how I was so rudely treated and a very suspect policy on "expirations" I would recommend trying one of the many other places on eastern. That's exactly what I did. Canceling membership. Never been treated more disrespectfully in my life. I'm the director of marketing for my company and we operate in 5 countries in 23 markets. Won't be spray tanning at this location anymore. They are always out of barrier cream lip balm and baby wipes. Not to mention last time I went in instead of clear goggles they had tanning bed goggles (how am I supposed to see?!) Stopped bed tanning there in may when my bed had tons of lotion still on it. Staff never knows what's going on.. And they're not the friendliest. They totally screwed up my membership so now it's cancelled And they won't waive the start up fee again for me to rejoin (even tho was waived when I first joined??) however, the salon on wigwam and pecos is amazing. the staff is SO Sweet and they're always stocked on spray tan essentials. I came in for my first spray tan on Friday. A young lady behind the counter by the name Chase helped me. She showed me to the different spray tans and told me the pro was best for me, I was nervous but she assured me I would be fine. She showed me a cream I needed to use before I went into the spray and also told me the bottle was 25% off!!! Killer deal. She talked to me about memberships but I only wanted one time. Chase was knowledgeable about all the booths and products. Once we picked the spray tan setting she walked me to the back and explained step by step even showing the eye wear. I would have never of guys eye wear in a spray tan? As I was walking out she thanked me wished me happy 4th of July and asked how the spray was.
