FroM their mouth they do not wipe up sweat, lotion and other bodily fluids prior to spraying with cleaner. I asked the manager, "do you wipe down the beds/sweat/lotion after the client comes out, before you spray the disinfectant?" The answer was no! Their protocol to cleaning a bed: 1.) A client walks out of the room from tanning. 2.) staff removes the towel and goggles from the room sprays down the bed and lets it sit there for 5 minutes "disinfecting time". 3)After the five minutes they wipe down the bed put a clean towel in it and reset it. Let's say you spill liquid foundation on the floor. Are you going to spray cleaner on it and then smear it around and wipe it up, absolutely not! You're going to wipe the liquid foundation first then use the cleaner! All Palm Beach Tan is doing is smearing around bodily fluids. Not to mention I've attempted to tan around 13 times this month and only have been able to tan twice, because the bed is dirty!!! They reset it without cleaning it! One day they put me in three different beds ending up in the standup, which still was not clean. Finger prints all over the buttons! Stay away from this place. I have been going to this location for many years- through staff changes and Covid. The employees are always kind and attentive! Can only remember 2 times that my tanning experience was less than perfect. I only use the spray tan booths (mystic and versa) but have always felt the space was clean and stocked with needed items. read more

My experience here is always disappointing. From filth in the tanning beds to filth in the restroom , even as soon as they open, things are dirty. It seems the staff here only do the bare minimum. Also the spray tan machines are supposed to be wiped down after every use and automatic cleaning. Literally never ever gets done. The cream other people use will be all over the machine as well. It will be wet and dirty with who knows what, along with the spray tan solution on the flooring, because it drips. So not only do you pay monthly then you also go and pay more for spray tan additives each time , just to have the machine drip solution down on you and mess up the spray tan & then it's just a waste lol...It's also very common to find the employees sitting on the counters or hiding in the back room. I came in and they are told me that I didn't have any available when I should have 2 available still. Girl at the desk stated she doesn't have authority to do anything about it. I'm a new member at this place but have been tanning for years. Just moved to the area and had to find another tanning salon. There are several in the area so one would think that these places reeaaallllyy have to be on their toes as far as competitive pricing and customer service. I tried Cancun Tan down the road a little ways from Palm Beach first. They had a "special." $14.95/mo" it said. I figured, of course, there would be some sort of "startup" fee. But when they told me their startup fee I gasped...lol. They wanted $90 up front, PLUS the $14.95 to even get started. I said no thanks. I walk into Palm Beach and am immediately greeted. I said I was "inquiring." The young lady promptly switched into sales mode and told me what they had to offer. She didn't go into a long pitch, but stopped and asked what I would be interested in, as I had told her I've been doing this for a long time. I said I just wanted the cheapest, most least expensive plan. She told me about the $19.95/mo plan and only a $20 startup fee. I said..."What's the catch?" She smiled and said no catch, other than it has to be an automatic withdrawal from your bank each month (many places are going to this, and, although I hate these "auto" pay policies, that's pretty much the standard at tanning salons nowadays). I said cool and let's do it. And it was a quick signup process. She asked me the basic stuff and she punched it into the computer and BAM, here's your bed....lol. No long forms to read over and sign. No "membership form" to have to fill out. This made me happy....lol. The beds looked new. All bulbs were working in the one I was in. The interior looked very clean and the public restrooms were actually clean, as well (something you don't get at ALL tanning salons...lol). 'Bout the only thing the bugged me has nothing to do with the business other than the location. Small strip at the corner of Matlock and Debbie Ln. And anyone that lives here KNOWS how congested the traffic can get right there...lol. Lots of traffic in the shopping strip, too. But that's just me gripin' about the traffic and it's not Palm Beach's fault. :) So, right now, my first experience in was good. Unless something changes and I have to come back later to "amend" my review here, then I would say give it a try if you haven't. read more

I've tanned at several PB locations in DFW and this one does have nice, new beds. The facility is new, clean, and fairly easy to find parking. I wish there was a premium tanning salon on this side of metroplex similar to those in Dallas, but until they do Palm Beach is a good fall back. Caution: Don't get swept up in the 20-something year old that rattles out the confusing "promotions/ specials" upon arrival. (and STRESS a sale on you.) Some of us just want to swing in and tan without getting harassed EVERY visit- annoying! read more

Manager is rude and condescending. Entering the correct billing information is difficult. If you don't find the problem before the 25th of the month you have two months of fees to pay because the system will still bill old card even with updated info. No one at the store is able to reverse them. Not with it. Canceled and have given business elsewhere. read more

This is the second time I've signed up for tanning at a Palm Beach location. I was a member at the Lincoln square location for several years but moved closer to Mansfield so I signed up at the Debbie Lane location and have to say I was unimpressed not only by the lack of lotions to choose from but how the staff acted with questions I had about the different lotions, they apparently think throwing down a 100.00 for a tanning lotion is like ordering a soda.. after the smirky looks Its very doubtful I'll use this location again. read more

The staff there are very unprofessional and slow. They hunch over on the desk and do not listen to the client's needs. There's a girl named Rainey? She took forever and was very unprofessional she kept answering the phone when she should have been attending us and figuring out how to sell sessions to my mother. And I let her know I was a former employee for the company so I told her specifically what I wanted to get for my mom and she continued to up sale us and not focus on finding the level 2 tanning sessions in the computer system. Very unsatisfied with the employees there. They do not know how to deal with customers. read more
