We've tanned at a few salons in SoCal, and enjoy traveling nationwide in general, which is why we love the ease of membership benefits wherever we go. First time attempting to try this place so I called first. Taylor was speaking to me giving me prices but while speaking she kept stopping to answer others that were there. She would follow back up by asking "what was that" and when I would re-liberate what we just spoke about so I can make sure I'm understanding what she is saying she just keeps saying "yeah" once again was speaking with someone. I told her this time I will wait till she finishes. What did she end up doing hanging up the phone. When I attempted to call three times back there was no answer. I have been a diamond customer for over 10 years. A new girl was working today. She claimed she was the new owner and district manager. Her name was Allie. Oh my goodness she was so rude to me. I pay a monthly fee of $59 for unlimited spray tans. She tried to overcharge me saying her staff for the last 10 years have been doing it wrong. She said I have to pay $28 extra for each visit. Allie tried to take advantage of me because I am a older women. She embarrassed me and made me feel so uncomfortable. I would not visit the Tustin location if she is there. Danielle is awesome. My friend and I walked in to get some color before our photo shoot for our Company Transformation Challenge and she gave us the seasonal promo. The staff and beds are always the best and they know how to take care of their current/new members. When I walked in, if you referred a friend, you get 4x free session and so does the new member. This even applies to spray tanning which is always something I have always wanted to try. This is the go to location it seems because they have 18+ beds and have a handful of staff ready at all times. Highly recommend this place! read more

Not only has Palm Beach Tan been a nightmare, their staff is completely rude and has zero concept of customer service. I will start out by saying I have been going to this location for years for spray tans and have never had an issue until about five months ago. They convinced me to sign up for a monthly membership, which I did and spent about two hundred dollars that day on some products and my monthly subscription. After using it for a month I decided it wasn't worth it and I spoke with a woman at the counter who assured me my membership would be canceled and I would no longer be billed. Flash forward four months. Every single month they charge me a fee in excess of $100 dollars and every single month I have called to complain, get a refund, and make sure my card isn't charged again. Every single month I am reassured by the supervisor that my membership is canceled and I won't be charged again. To this day I have not received a single refund. I am a relatively patient and understanding person. But after noticing my card was charged again this month I am furious. I work as a litigation paralegal and know my rights. I know they have zero rights to be charging my card without authorization and as far as I am concerned it is theft. I have no clue what is going on with their staff but since it is a franchised company, and the supervisor in the store has no clue what they are doing, its difficult to get anything resolved. I will be reaching out to the CEO, Diane Lucas of PBT as well as the owner of the location. I will also be pursuing legal recourse if I don't receive a refund this week. Not to mention, the spray tan I got five months ago was super orange. Not worth your time or money. If you have an issue, it won't be addressed and their employees are not properly trained to be handing peoples private credit card information. read more

So annoying I had my cards stolen so I had no way to pay my bill bc they didn't give me the online card and I called twice before the first to let them know and the lady both times said she will take the charge off because I have no way to pay with no cards and I got it back a few days later even gave her my new card over the phone when it came so I would be charged j never was charged came back in and they charge me 70$ and the lady is rude Saying there's no note of it , not helpful at all a joke . I am very disappointed in this Arlington hts Location. The girls are nice but, I think either beds are Old or bulbs need changing.. I've been to executive tans and other places where You get a strong tan for a lot less money & there are 5 levels offered. I paid over $70 for level one for one month..and went every other day. Really poor customer service at this salon especially from the regional manager. The girls at the salon did not tell me about the special as I had been paying $100 for tanning for a month and there was a special. I had frozen my account as I was out of town but wanted to tan for just 4 days. Cost was $25 each tan and they ran my card quickly without being able to refund it. Instead I chose to unfreeze my account and pay $60 on the new promo. In speaking with the girls in the salon I found out the bulbs are old and I wasted my time getting color while I was home. Asked to speak with the regional manager and got absolutely NO customer service but $25 in tan dollars. Really unhelpful and fell this company has gone down hill. This business is corrupt and mismanaged. When signing up they managed to convince me to go on a monthly plan saying if I cancelled by a certain date, then my account would not be charged. Two problems: 1) The girls at the desk assigned my account information to another user. Once they caught it and figured it out it was fine... It was a hassle and wildly inconvenient when I went to go tan, BUT 2) When I went to cancel, they did not properly process the account cancellation, even though I went into facility and told them. They made a note of the cancellation request on my account but DID NOT process it and did NOT tell me that I needed to sign something even when I asked them if I needed to do anything else. I was charged. THEN the district manager said that they could NOT reverse the charges for THEIR mistake, but they'd offer me "store credit." She also told me that I need to GO ONLINE or into the store to get it cancelled or I would continue being charged. I laughed. Online, the website says the only way to cancel is in store. I go in store and they don't process it. Then she This is beyond ridiculous. I filed a charge back to my credit card. Do NOT sign monthly service. Go to any other salon that had better customer service options. read more

It was my first time and last time coming to this place. I came in for mh spray tan and I purchased the after shower lotion, I got back home and noticed that it has ingredients im allergic to so I called the place and told them my concerns and I would like to return it (it wasn't a week since I bought it and it's unopen). The girl I talked to said she doesn't know then she put me on hold for a while, she got back to me saying she can't issue refunds, I again explained my issue and told her that the lotion is not even opened and im allergic so she put me on hold then got back to me saying the manager said she'll offer me store credit which im not happy about. I asked to talk to the manager and the girl said to email customer service and I did. However, I did not get any replies. So I called the salon again a week later. The policy says refund its original value within 7 days or 3/4 full. I wanted to cancel my membership, and they put me on hold AGAIN for like 20 mins and then told me she can't do anything about it and has to help customers currently in store. This is consistently the slowest location!! One employee checking in your clients while I'm in a line 9 deep. The wait time to even check in was 24 minutes. If and when there is another employee present, they always seem to be "training" and unable to "work the computer." Your company is losing revenue by lack of leadership, competence, training, and most importantly customer service! I have been going here for 2 years now and absolutely love it. There are special offers and deals all the time and the beds are constantly getting improved with new bulbs and new products. I have a tanning membership as well as my son did previously. I still have mine and his was cancelled last year. I had a recent problem with cancelling my sons tanning membership and did not realize that funds were still being taken out of my account. I agree I should have been checking on this, however, my membership is a auto pay as well as his was too. This was about 8 months ago.My son had stopped tanning that entire time. I signed a cancellation and I guess I did not keep a copy of the cancellation that I signed. I was and still tan at this location. Needless to say I asked for my money back and they would not agree! I came in to get a spray tan the night before vacation. I paid upwards of $65 without knowing the girl added enhancers without my knowledge. She then charged me BEFORE telling me there was about an hour wait!! I had to get in and out to pick up my daughter. I feel it was very poor customer service and lack of respect for customers' time. I will never return. And the tan only lasted 2-3 days. I should have demanded a refund and gone elsewhere. Lesson learned. read more

They have many different tanning beds which prevents you from having to wait forever! The pricing is great, however, they will try to up sell you by showing you all the different beds..which honestly is totally worth it! I signed up for the level four and I saw results after one time! They also have a very clean facility! The reason they lost two stars is due to the inconvenience they cause by their lack reading policies when signing up. I signed up yesterday and was read the "policies," but they forgot one big policy, you can not tan again within 24 hours. I understand that is to protect us, however, I had asked if they would be open today so I could tan since it is the 4th of July and the girl said "Yes! We are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm!" The part she forgot to tell me was that I would not be able to tan since I went at 7:00pm last night. I received copies of "all" papers I had electronically signed I was ensured by the girl at sign up. They have you read one page and they recite another page to you. Well, they did not provide me with a copy of the page that includes the policies. So not only did they not read me the policy about the 24 hour rule, they did not provide me a copy of the signed document either. I do not live close to this location, but due to its size and cleanliness I joined. So after wasting over a half hour of drive time today I decided to write a review. This is a legal issue that they need to be aware of that is occurring in their location. read more
