If I could give zero stars, I would!! I had an extremely disappointing experience with customer service and leadership at Palm Beach Tan, specifically at the Reynoldsburg location. Two different employees that I initially spoke with were kind, professional, and last gentleman was genuinely apologetic. He assured me that the manager, Meghan, would make things right. Unfortunately, that could not have been further from the truth. After requesting a callback, I received no response. It took two days of repeated calls before I was finally able to speak with Meghan. From the start, her approach was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than addressing the issue or taking accountability, she deflected responsibility by referencing what her manager, Hanna, allegedly said--while completely disregarding the fact that I had been given conflicting and inaccurate information by multiple employees. Meghan's business card identifies her as a General Manager, but based on this interaction, her level of customer service, communication, and problem-solving did not reflect the expectations of that role. When I made a simple request for her to contact Hanna directly and have her return my call, it was treated as though it were unreasonable--which is unacceptable. At no point did I feel heard, valued, or respected as a customer. Effective leadership requires accountability, follow-through, and professionalism--none of which were demonstrated in this situation. I'm waiting on a call back from Hanna. I'm going to reach out to the corporate office as well about my experience. Ive been going to this location for 2 years now. I've had nothing but a great experience every time I've been here. The staff is wonderful. Meghan does such a great job and is always so kind and polite. Very professional. I would highly recommend this location. Love everyone! read more

Stopped here on a whim because my usual spray tan place was closed and I got an email for $20 spray tan. The employee that assisted me was so nice & helpful! The spray tan ended up being around $35 I think so not quite the price advertised in the email but that's a fair price IMO. When I was in the booth, I did exactly as I was supposed to but half of my right arm didn't get tan so that was a bummer. read more

In a strip mall, nice and clean, with very friendly service. They were busy but got me right in. I tan for a minor health condition, and Palm Beach is the most convenient, with lots of locations and plans. Not really cheap, but competitive, and they have plenty of options in beds, spray tans, whatever, especially at this location. Easy access, quick service, pretty pleasant experience. read more

I'm a cross market tan with the highest level bed. nobody was using those beds. She never asked me what bed I wanted. She assigned bed and i asked her what bed that was. She fumbled her words for a min and finally says ibed. I tell her that's all you have to see what she would say next and then the other girl behind her has to chime in and be like it has new bulbs. They were just put in a month ago so I went ahead and did the bed, but for some reason, I feel like they were putting me in that bed because I was crossmark tan and not giving me the higher grade beds that my membership is just a feeling that I got that they were insisting that I use that bed. but why would I use a lower level bed when I have the highest level and those high-level beds are obviously available nobody's in them a little shady to me so when I'm leaving those same beds and nobody was using a girl goes into it she's probably local and that's why they gave her that bad. whenever I go tan, they always ask me what bed I would like to use here they didn't do that. They like assigned me the bed. It was obvious that they were giving me a lower grade bed because I was across market so just so you know you didn't fool me. i was on to you. read more

I really like this store. They all seem friendly and helpful when I arrive to tan. They offer suggestions on tanning products and never push things on me. The only thing I can say negatively is they are always very busy. Always waiting times, between 2pm and 5pm. Last time I attempted to go, I waited in line for 10 mins to be told I have to wait another 14 mins to tan. They over sold and now everyone waits. That's really annoying. read more

I signed up for a spray tan package and was told it was around $50 plus a start up fee for unlimited. Cool. Fast forward to a few days later when I go for my first tan, I find out you have to pay ~$10 each tan for the tanning product!!! I thought my 50$ a month was it. I will finish out the month then look for a better deal elsewhere. ALSO it seems my tan here fades right away after I shower. I wait the 6-8 hours as recommended. Just seems like a big scam. read more

Billboards and advertisements everywhere about the first month free but I still paid $150 for one month to tan. Since then they have turned me away 2 of these 30 days (so far, I'm on day 5) because I tanned after closing time the day before so instead of 24 full hours it was 23 hours and 50 minutes so I'm not allowed to tan even though I drove all the way here. Such a scam. The beds look cool and big but don't work well. The people seem friendly enough but Definitely canceling my membership after this 30 days. read more

I have been a member of this location for several years. Their spray tan booths are always under repair and are in horrible condition. This week I went to get my spray tan and one of the booths were out of service. Erica, identified herself as the manager, advised in order for me to use their second spray booth I would have to pay additional money because it was a different brand. I was surprised as it was their responsibility because the booth was under repair and it would be fitting to provide me with a courtesy spray in another booth. This has happen several times and the other employees did accommodate me. I asked if she could call her supervisor and she stated she cannot as this person is on vacation. I asked for the contact information for her supervisor and she advised it's confidential and they are not required to provide that information because they are a franchise. Adding, there is no headquarters/additional services to request assistance. I contacted the Gahanna Palm Beach Tan location and they provided me with a customer care email and telephone number for complaints and concerns. I also visited the Gahanna location and their spray booth was amazing. The manager at the Gahanna location was very accommodating and apologetic for the lack of customer service from Erica. They further advised that Palm Beach Tan is responsible and can provide a courtesy spray if one of their booths is unavailable. Big difference in service and product. read more

I decided to go during the winter months due to my SAD. I am hypervigilant on keeping my 30+ skin (especially my face and neck) as protected as I can. So I always thought spf was fine for my face and neck and I was educated can leave blotching which I had no clue which I totally appreciated. Needless to say I ended up getting a face and body products. The girls were so nice and listened to my concerns and what I wanted. I appreciate the thorough information. I ended up getting a membership and I have been very pleased. I go at prime hrs and really never have to wait. Wish the one girl had more help but due to covid and thorough cleaning I appreciate the time to ensure safety. I have been happy. Only issue is that I can only use my membership at the location I signed up. I live an hr away from work so having the flexibility of tanning on days I don't work would be even better but I get it. I just can't afford the more expensive membership considering all my other health issues. Overall very happy! read more

This location is all about making money and ripping off people. They nickel and dime you on everything. I was told I was getting a 99$ a month membership but when I went to pay, it magically became $149. She couldn't even fully explain the extra fees, etc nor did she tell me that upfront. Then, I decide to try a spray tan which I was told was free with my plan. Again, magically, there's a fee for foot pads, a fee for bronze additive that you apparently need, etc. I'm canceling this place read more
