Palm Realty Boutique
Stay far, far away.
Everything was going fine, until it wasn't.
Palm Realty Boutique represented us as buyers on our first home purchase. Yay for us!... wait, how did this become a horror movie?
Our escrow closed on Jun 17th and there was a signed Seller to Remain in Possession agreement in effect until today, Jun 28th. at 8pm. Yesterday, Jun. 27th. we were informed that the sellers were not going to move out for another month.
Wait.. What?
We have been trying to get Palm Realty Boutique to help us resolve this but their position is that we should try and negotiate a solution with the seller.
What's there to negotiate?
We paid $1.575 Million dollars to purchase a house with Palm Realty Boutique as our agent and Pier Escrow Inc - who is at least partially owned by Palm Reality Boutique - handling the funds. The seller has gotten their money, both agents have received their commission. But we, as the buyers, are unable to take possession of OUR property.
This is every home buyers worst nightmare and the entire reason for the existence of real estate brokers and escrow services.
From my personal experience, I would not recommend anyone doing business with Palm Realty Boutique or Pier Escrow, these are NOT reputable companies. read more
