I've had Harris Atain as my lawn clipper for 25+ years. I asked him for a reference to re-sod my lawn and he turned me on to his son Harris Jr. of Green Image. Holy s**t what a fantastic lawn. He re-did everything from the ground up including fixing all the sprinkler problems. He saw where I had low pressure because the dummies used 1/2" PVC and he replaced it with 3/4". Extremely hazardous to your trees. Worst tree trimming job I have had in the 15 years I have lived here. The company was referred to me by my gardener (who does a great job) so I decided to try them. I asked them to thin lightly a large beautiful tree in front of my house. Harris confirmed they would lightly trim the tree. Instead, they left the 1/3 of the tree nearest the house untouched and hacked off the other 2/3 of the tree down to the trunk. It looks awful, one layer of branches then right down to so many bare cut off stumps where large branches used to be. It will take years for the butchered tree to recover and the front of my house to look "normal" again. read more

I used Green Image located in the Los Angeles area near LAX to trip a massive mulberry tree, a rubber tree and a dead nectarine. His bid was very reasonable. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the entire job in 1 and half days as they promised. They hauled all the cuttings away and cut the branches into firewood at my request and at no extra cost. Since lawn was unable to grow in the shaded area under the tree, I paid $400 extra to have them rake the old lawn/dirt and seed it and cover it with a water retention kinda fertilizer. The grass never came up well and that was a waste of money. I was hoping for a full, lush sprouting but nope. I followed his directions and watered morning and night to keep the seeds moist to encourage sprouting but it didn't happen. I ended up having to reseed it myself 3 more times so I'm guessing there was just something difficult about my soil. I would not hesitate to use Harris, the owner, again. In fact, I will be sending my brother his contact info right now since he is in need of some major tree trimming. read more
