What's even more frustrating is that the property manager, Roxanne, lives right next door but somehow she still chooses to live here and ignores the problem. It makes no sense. I even sent a text message. I then proceeded to call 911. and when the fire chief was here, I pointed out how both the fire alarms do not work in my unit, and that it was documented as such with the building use code enforcement the property management company that represents the landlord so that these fire alarms do not work yet somehow we managed to pass the yearly fire inspection for the last going on five interesting right I thought so and then there are HOA board members that if they don't like you, they will stalk you and harass you and make 30 false noise complaints against you to assess you with so many fines each one being $350 that you would just give up and walk away i've had the HOA contact my landlord as I am a tenant and the HOA pressure my landlord to evict me even better HOA tries to charge a $350 fine for a service animal and another $350 fine for my medical device scooter. Let me tell you this HOA is horrible. Do not believe any positive review you will see the female security guard named Cheryl, who likes to interrogate any guest that you have or you bring over or even if you have a house she will even refuse to allow my to use my parking space that I pay for so when I say this is a great disappointment it is utterly the worst experience I have had and in four years time I've spent over 100,000+ dollars to be here in rent and yet this is how I've been treated. This is a -5 star rating as far as I'm concerned beware of the HOA as they are drunk on power basically is called abusive power, and because they have no oversight, keeping them in line to make sure that they follow the rules and behave that they are in this manner. Well that's another main entryway entry entryway is a fire hazard because if you happen to come downstairs without your fob open the first door, letting you into the gated courtyard when closes you're locked out and you're confined to that area and it's been said to me that the moment that you step outside that gated which you would have to do to get help that they will not let you into the building that you have to call 911 or the cops and then that you were an actual resident there as HOA has informed security not to assist to gain access back into the property without having their fob so the building itself not bad but the HOA let me just say the biggest turn off the worst experience and don't believe any positive comments on here by the name of Kevin because Kevin is the president of the HOA Metronome that represents this building so be aware

This process I've been going through with Sara the last two weeks that's almost complete has been hands down the most professional,efficient, and genuine experience I've ever dealt with. This manager goes the extra mile and as a business owner I understand how hard it is to find a manager/employee with passion and amazing work ethic like Sara. The owners of this complex need to give this lady a raise and never loose her. I saw the reviews about this complex and noticed the previous manager wasn't the best but Sara has provided me and my family a customer service experience that I've never seen from a property manager. Repair calls took for ever, unless it was emergency which rarely happens, takes almost a week to schedule, and when the super does come he was given the wrong info and didnt bring the correct parts or tools. Although they eventually corrected this we were accused of sending a bounce check it took over 4 months to resolve this issue . In which again, Monica didnt respond. I ended up annoying Finances at their HQ to get this problem handled. I sent multiple emails until they finally responded. In my opinion this couldve been taken care of within 2- 4 weeks, but my bank and their bank wouldnt comminucate without the management participating which makes complete sense. Well this took almost 4 months to get resolved. A lot of misscommunication and poor management. You might say why did we stay for so long... well we thought it would get better, but it didnt in which we finally left after they raised the rent the third time. Inside of the house is great. Renovated kitchen, clean carpets, water heater always hot, great neighbors and thick walls. I tried calling you and Airbnb, but I didn't hear back from you and Airbnb didn't reach back out until 6am. While we were drenched in the rain, my girlfriend and I continued dozens of attempts to unlock the door. It took almost an hour. We finally got in by some random miracle. I'm requesting money because not being able to enter a unit is a critical issue that ruined my entire trip.

Several several emails to Mission Sands with not 1 response. We have now put in a complaint with Airbnb since the condition of this house was completely unacceptable. Be aware of renting "The Big House" in Mission Beach. Great location, but that is about all that was good about it. I have pictures and emails to prove our claims. The sad thing is this company, that has sooo many good reviews failed us without even an acknowledgement of our complaints.
