We brought along our 6mo baby and were able to put her pack and play up, with enough room to still move around the room comfortably. Everyone here was very friendly, and extremely accommodating. We had paid in advance for an all inclusive dinner package to celebrate our anniversary, however on the night of dinner my husband wasn't feeling well and i asked our server if it was possible to box up everything and bring it to our room. One of the managers came over to speak to me, and was extremely understanding. She as well as two staff members brought our dinners, dessert & our bottle of champagne all to our room for us. Every member of staff we came by that worked here was extremely pleasant, and service didn't wavier regardless if it was breakfast, dinner in the formal dining room or even a drink in the pub. I can absolutely see why people have their weddings here, the grounds are beautiful set right on the river and the Inn itself is such a unique place in itself. What a great hidden gem nestled away in Eaton Rapids! We plan on returning next year as well!

We wanted to make the morning not so early so found this B&B that turned out to be a gem. Dave, the proprietor, went above and beyond to accommodate us. We stayed in the Boone Lodge with our 2 kids. We had a great time playing billiards (with The Princess Bride playing in the background), taking a hot tub (with attendant snowball fight and double dog dare swimsuit snow angels), and falling asleep to a roaring fire (but not before Dave brought freshly baked chocolate chip cookies). Dave has a background in law enforcement and as a medic...and tends to a small flock of rescues, which endeared him to our daughter who wants to be a vet. Definitely looking for excuses to stop off here, be it in Michigan's wonderful fair seasons, or beautiful white winter!

We had a very unfortunate experience getting to Hillsdale from Detroit in our rental car from Avis (nightmare is more accurate) and he was more than accommodating, polite, understanding and very helpful during the entire time. The hotel is in a pleasant and charming neighborhood in close proximity to Hillsdale College and downtown. The grounds are well kept and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and our room was perfect. Some of the rooms do share common bathrooms, but this was expected and fine with us. Back in the day most of Europe was like this and we were used to it. The common areas were clean and cozy, other guests were fun to chat with and the "guest Haas" feeling was welcoming. The continental breakfasts were light and fresh, more than adequate. Overall a wonderful stay at a reasonably priced Inn, the service was way above any place we have stayed in years.
