Palmers made some big changes. 1) they're using a cleaner flour (no bleach, dyes, or preservatives). 2) they're making fresh REAL food at an unbeatable price for our area. We got a 6pc tender combo (it was $16) and it could have easily fed two people. It came it two boxes! Up the street fast food chicken will cost you the same and you get half the food. The pizza was great and I was surprised to get two cannoli in the order for only $6 so I saved one for the next day and it was just as good. We ordered online and picked up in store. I ordered a pizza for delivery, and it came straight off their menu with only the addition of cheese. The first hiccup is that their website ordering system would NOT work at all. I would get all the way through the process and then it would mess up at the final stage. So, after getting good and frustrated with that, I called. They told me it would be a 45 minute wait, which I was ok with since it was Friday night. *90* minutes later, the pizza finally arrived and it was room temperature. I'm not sure how someone can completely ruin a vegetable sandwich, but they did. It scarcely had a top portion. It was like a long, soggy crouton. It also had a dreadful smell to it. So on to the breaded mushrooms. It didn't get any better. I had the most revolting aftertaste; I actually still do, from eating half of the mushrooms. I've heard people say how good their food is. If a horrible smell and taste is what is considered good, then I question if they've actually had "good". The DoorDash driver was the most pleasant part of this meal. This place is great...always have great food..(party pie is huge!) and service is quick and customer service is a plus! Worst experience ever. Waited over an hour and then the wrong order was delivered by door dash. Called the store and waited on hold for over 20 minutes. Was told it would be remade and sent immediately. After 2 more phone calls we are still waiting for our pizza 3 hours later. Been ordering here since they opened. Their food was good, but declined over the years. I order from them last month my food was cold, and it took 2 Hours to deliver it, I figured this was the first time this happened so I would let it ago. Then come to today. They said a 90 minute deliver time. I said ok since I was ordering early. Only for the 90 minutes to pass then another 30 minutes beforeI called and asked where my order was. They said sorry but the owner decided not to deliver to where I live now. They had me wait 2 hours (well 90 minutes for their delivery time. plus I gave them a 30 minute cushion) and not once called me to tell me they wouldn't be delivering to my place. Called to order food at 5:52. Was told 45 mins. After an hour and ten minutes called to ask where my food was. They said they got slammed with orders and only have one driver. When I asked if they were going to discount my food I was told no. And that my food would be canceled and put on the no order list. VERY bad customer service!!! I've ordered from Palmer's about three times now. The first two times I ordered chicken wings. They have a special on Saturdays, $.50 wings. The wings have always been pretty good. I got their wing dust on the side, which is really delicious. This last time I got pizza and cheesy breadsticks. I didn't really care that much for either. Something with the taste I didn't like. I think they used a bit too much garlic for me and I didn't like the pizza sauce. I got delivery in McKeesport so I appreciated that. My food has always been hot and delivered in a timely manner. They have a pretty big menu...I probably won't order pizza again, but will try some other items. read more

Up until recently, I thought the food was great.. but the service there sucks. The last couple times we have ordered from them. They have messed up are hoagie orders, gave us credit to use on our next order. Then when we ordered pizza from them. Couldn't use the credit, which is fine. We will use it when we get hoagies again. Paid 38 bucks for the pizza, to which they gave it to someone else. And then had to remake ours. So we we're told they would credit us 10 bucks off the pizza. When they didn't do it. We called to complain again. And they put us on the the blocked call list. All over because they cannot get orders right there. For our first experience, we got gyros. They were not good at all. We figured we'd try again. Last night, we got a steak hogie, seasoned wings, and a Greek salad. The steak hogie was sub par. The wings were way too over cooked. The Greek salad would have been good had they given me the correct dressing. The customer service during this trip was awful. There was a woman just standing there, not waiting on me. Someone told her I had been waiting. She look at the other worker and said, "I know." Still, she never came over. Luckily, a gentleman who was busy and working came over to assist me. We won't be back. Neither the food or customer service is decent. What we need is a Dom's Pizza in WO.
