At long last, Myrtle Beach has a first-class gun store and range. Store is well stocked, prices are very good, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Ammo supplies are good despite the daily tourist stockpiling activity. Elite and Cormac need to trim their prices or they will go the way of the dinosaur. Bass Pro is a distant second to PSA. read more

Went looking for a magazine for a firearm I had purchased earlier this week, I spoke with two employees both male and female who were working behind the gun counter. both told me that they couldn't tell me what mag I needed due to their policy, I asked to look at their glock 17 to compare magazines and was told I couldn't remove the magazine from the stores pistol, again, it was against their store policy. Now I have purchased alot from their web site over the years and this was the first time I visted their store in myrtel beach. I was greatly disapointed in their lack of knowledge and their unwillingness to help. I will continue buying from the website as needed by will never enter this store in the future. read more

Gun range has secret rules. Previously told no loaded weapons to enter treated with hostility. Today told no BB guns take it back to the car,again hostile. Nice facility but feeling is like a privilege to be there. read more

As part time residents working on full time status, Billy and CJ made our range experience a very positive one. Their ability to make my group comfortable and safe was like no other. Upon meeting them, they really eased our anxiety as we are new to the process. The friendly staff also were key to our visit. Will be back and sure to be regulars in the future. read more

Great place to take handgun lesson even if a novice who has never handled a gun. Tom was very patient and explained things thoroughly .

I live in Myrtle Beach. I have waited a long time to go to this store period but as I went because my son was in town. I could not find that employee at the optics desk I asked someone that came Uber and tried to help me they didn't know anything about it. They should let me get someone. They couldn't find Anyone so I Finally found someone to Help me PERIOD but this gentleman didn't Know his butt from a hole in the ground. That means he didn't know anything. So I told him what I wanted. He threw one over on the counter and said started looking at it. And it did not say anything about the particular gun that I had. And I remember online there's only a few that do fit my particular weapon. I looked at him and asked him. Will this fit my gun? I Asked him if this would fit my gun he says I don't know it should. So I had to look it up for myself and find out whether or night wood and come to find out it would not. You've need to train your people better, you need to train them to be nice and cardius. We do live in the South, which means nice and courteous and humble. I was also looking at scopes. He knew very little about them and could not give me very much assistance. Just would grab one out of the case and looking at it would not even meant say anything. I don't think I will be coming back to this store. And I will be telling others about it. And at telling them not to come back until you change what you're doing. Which is not training your people to be courteous and professional and nice.. I buy things from the Palmer state armory in Mount Pleasant and I bought from Summerville and they have all been very very nice not like the Myrtle Beach people. Of course, I live in Myrtle Beach and I'm gonna have the Myrtle Beach. People are and half of them are not from here, and they don't know how to be nice. Train your people, train your people, train your people and then take and train them to be nice. Courteous and very appreciative that you're there. Because you're there, and that's why they have a job. This place will not stay up and alone if you do not train your people to be courteous nice, and have the knowledge that they Need. read more

Visited the Myrtle Beach store/range this week. Excellent service and advice from Zach and will definitely return.

All started out fine, 01 March I drove 1 1/2 hours to Myrtle Beach to purchase a firearm that was indicated as "Low Inventory". Arrived at MB and requested the piece, the associate went in search of the item, 45 minutes later came back with the wrong weapon and tried to upsell me, no, sorry, 15 minutes later came back and said it was on a hold for a customer and I should order online. Ordered online 01 March and selected PSA MB as my FFL drop point, waited till 08 March to call to try to find status. Nobody in MB picks up the phone. After trying for several hours I finally got a guy who "couldn't tell me anything cause we have a lot of stuff in the back that hasn't been unloaded yet ". Called customer service and was told that the piece shipped on an internal truck on 07 March from Columbia SC to MB SC, a 3 1/2 hour drive. Great, weapon should be there. 13 March I called customer service again and got a case opened with assurances that I would be contacted by MB (never happened). 16 March I called MB again and lucked out, I got an associate that was helpful, I told him that I was about to dispute the credit card charge for non performance, after listening to me b###h he asked me to stand by and came back in under 5 minutes and told me that yes he had the weapon and when did I want to come get it. He also told me that they (I assume the staff at PSA MB) were "not real great with online orders". Drove back down, picked the weapon up drove back home, no issues. Bottom line is that PSA pricing and selection is great, In person, in store is pretty good, customer service however, is utterly useless and unless you get the right associate to both pick up the phone and take the time to look in the back calling down to PSA MB is a waste of your time and boosts the frustration level you experience. If you feel the need to purchase from them I would select an FFL drop near your home as it will probably get the merchandise into your hands more quickly even if it costs a couple of bucks more. read more
