The security guard working the front desk was beyond rude and didn't even apologize just an awful experience. Ruined 2 days of our trip. Will not be back

Landmark has been home for my family during week 26 of each year for the last 33 years, so 5 stars…read moreis easy for me to award. However, I will map out a few areas of opportunity that they do have. As mentioned, my family has been timeshare owners for 3 decades and we all pack into the spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo on the 11th floor each year. The 2/2 condo is really good size and can sleep 8 adults comfortably with a King in the master, two fulls in the guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Since this is a condo instead of a hotel/motel, all their rooms are fully stocked like apartments with a full kitchen including a full sized washer/dryer. In addition, each condo here features all the same standard items, along with a good size patio that overlooks the gulf. The complex does have a range of sizes from 1 to 3 bedrooms, so they got a room that will fit your family! In addition to the rooms they also offer a few amenities such as an indoor pool and jacuzzi, Tiki bar, cardio gym, book swap book shelf, grills and a renovated top floor clubhouse featuring wet bar and kitchen that you can use for any events you may want to have during your stay. On non-Covid years, they also run a plethora of activities for the guests from grilling out one afternoon to sandcastle building competitions to scavenger hunts and ice cream floats. Now a few things that they can work on improving/are a little tough to deal with each year... - Parking - They need more! You are very limited on parking and are only allowed one extra vehicle, which will cost extra (currently $42/week). This extra vehicle is to park at the back of the neighboring condo buildings parking garage. They need to build a garage or buy some surrounding land to add spaces. - Mattresses - Terrible. You definitely don't check in here with the expectation of super restful and comfy sleep. The beds are worn and hard, just bring your tylenol for the morning. - Elevators - There are only (2) of them for the whole building, so on busy days or at busy times, be prepared to wait or hit the stairs. - Grills - There are only (2) and they are not always in the best shape. They could definitely upgrade with larger, maybe even built in units that have nearby covering just in case the weather pulls a Florida and changes within one minute. - Gym - It is pretty laughable. A few dated cardio machines an ab stand. They could get rid of a few of those machines and get a multi-use resistance machine and leave 2 cardio pieces and it would be 100% better and would probably see more use. Overall, Landmark has a special place in my heart and is a super special place for my family and I. The timeshare that is owned will definitely be passed on to generation after generation within the family! This place, our unit and the friends we have made over the past three decades really make Landmark our home away from home, at least for 7 days each year!

The breakfast was good but I was on vacation and I didn't read the plastic laminated rules and felt like I was treated like a kid. The rooms are nice but small and you are paying for the view out the front windows. How i felt, I couldn't wait to leave and that makes me sad since I was trying to relax there. There is a park across the street with beach access. When you're on vacation and you stay at a place where you can't relax because of how you are treated AND you paid a lot of money to stay at? I should have gone to best western.
