You really cannot go wrong with choosing Palmtrees "R" Us as your professional tree trimmer and landscaper because of the great customer service provided by two genuinely nice people (Vicky and Johnny) AND their amazing work. Vicky and Johnny trimmed and cleaned all of our trees (front and backyard - Total of 5 trees), trimmed our small palm, removed a dead tree and blew out our front and backyards. Since the first interaction I had with Palmtrees "R" Us, I was blown away. I requested a quote through yelp and Vicky responded promptly indicating that she could schedule me in for a free consultation the next day. The next day, Palmtrees "R" Us showed up at 5, the time Vicky said they would. They were both super friendly during the consultation and after a few minutes of interacting with them, I could tell that they were extremely knowledgeable. They took their time examining our trees and shrubs and provided me a fair quote. In all honesty, Palmtrees "R" Us was the 3rd quote I had been given that day. I had one quote less than Palmtrees "R" Us but it didn't matter, my instinct told me to choose them because of their knowledge and customer service. And boy am I glad I did. They scheduled us in for the following week. They did great work with our trees and cleaned our yards. Johnny is like a tree whisperer. He knows what he is doing. Vicky is amazing at managing and providing the customer service. Two down-to-earth individuals and people who keep their work In addition, I have already arranged with them to come back next week to take care of this weed garden we have in our back yard. They are going to pull the weeds out and replace with nice rock. I will report back next week with pictures of that area. I'm so bad at recalling names but the this is a class act company that knows what they are doing. During my career I was a tree faller at times and Palm tree's R us knows about tree's, especially palm trees. When I saw them put on the required safety harnesses for my three small palm trees, I knew that I had found my company for taking care of my tree's. So over the course of two weeks I tried getting multiple estimates because I'm not familiar with the cost for palm tree trimming. I am so happy I found PALMtrees R Us on Yelp! I had a lousy experience with another company that I had used before with decent results. They must have sent their C Team that day because not only couldn't they finish the job (trimming two 40' palms and one 30'), but they made a huge mess in my neighbor's yard. I had to do a lot of damage control with her. Thank goodness for Vicky and her A Team! The crew showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and had any and every piece of equipment they could possibly need. They didn't stop moving except for water and lunch breaks. (I felt like a jerk sitting in my air conditioned house while they worked for 8 hrs.) They trimmed the palms and made sure I was happy with the amount of fronds left over and then skinned the upper half of the two tall palms. Ihad no idea how much work was involved with that but these guys were champs! My yard is immaculate and they cleaned up my neighbor's yard too. (I sent her before and after photos and she was ecstatic.) I will definitely be a repeat customer for maintenance going forward and will happily recommend them to my friends and coworkers. These hacks drove a trailer onto my lawn which broke three of my sprinkler heads. They fixed two (not three) of them and then installed the fake turf that i paid for onto my lawn. When they hammered a giant nail through my existing irrigation system to secure the turf Vicky found a way to blame me for the problem and referenced how they fixed two of the three sprinkler heads that they damaged as some sort of testimony to their service. I now have a leaky patch of grass held down by a nine inch nail through my irrigation system pipe and a broken and flooding irrigation system to handle alone with no assistance from the clowns that installed it. If you're looking for landscaping service do yourself a favor and move on to someone qualified. read more

We had two palm trees that needed to be trimmed (one Canary palm and one Mexican fan palm) and Palm Trees R Us did a fantastic job. Vicky communicated regularly with me and took care of a special trimming request to make sure it was done exactly the way I wanted it. I got home from work and it was perfect. They cleaned up afterwards and honestly I think they took care of some old palm mess that was from recent strong winds and nothing to do with the trimming. They also do carving and skinning, so I'll take advantage of that in the future. Best of all, they also come to Boulder City, which is rare, even though BC isn't that far away. Recently, we hired PALMtrees "R" Us to trim and shape our three Canary Island Date palm trees. The trees are over thirty years old and have trunks around 12 feet in height; they had become a bit unruly and too much to manage by ourselves. They needed professional help. Given our prior experience with tree maintenance people, and based upon a fair amount of research, our expectations weren't very high. We were more than surprised. Not only did this company do a great job, they went out of their way to meet some tough requirements: we wanted them to do the job on a non-windy day; they had to be licensed and adequately insured against on-the-job accidents; we wanted the trees shaped very uniformly; we wanted them to rid the trees of all the unsightly reproduction pods (or whatever they're called); and, most especially, we wanted to be completely satisfied before they left the premises. (Our family's a stickler like that; we tend to be green-thumbish and leery of false claimers.) The company came on the right day (we had to wait a bit due to high winds in the two prior weeks) and brought all the right things--wood chipper, high level boom with cage, experienced people, insurance papers, etc. They worked in a way that preserved our "green thumb" look. Clean-up was no problem; thank goodness! We did wonder if only two people could get the job done in one day, but they got it all done well before sunset. Johnny and Parker did an outstanding job. They checked in with me two different times to make sure they were meeting my expectations. Overall: a job very well done and at a very fair price! Needless to say, we were more than satisfied. This company is a joke. I worked for them for 2 years and was the only guy that worked for them and did all of the work myself 90% of the time. Only 1 truck is registered and they swap license plates from truck to truck, non of the vehicles have insurance nor function properly, they have me tell customers that the owners name is Michael and I've never met before just so Johnny and Vicki won't get yelled at, bucket truck is not osha approved, I broke 3 ribs on a job and they told me I couldn't get checked out and expected me to work the next day, early in November I had a family member pass and asked if I could get my check 2 days early so I could fly back for a few days they told me no and that I should learn how to manage my money and to this day I have still yet to receive my final pay check, this company is based all on lies and what customers want to here. Vicky and Johnny are AMAZING! We had PALMtrees "R" Us come out to remove a few trees, fix some broken irrigation lines and rework the entire irrigation system. They were very professional and efficient. I was nervous about having my dogs in the yard while they were there so I stayed home with them the first two days of the job. On the last day I didn't hesitate to leave my dogs with access to the yard because I knew that Vicky and Johnny were always mindful of keeping the gate closed...... AND my dogs loved them!
