Excellent food and excellent service. Our server Jose made the Strawberry Jubilee at our table. The beef was grilled to perfection, tender and delicious. We will definitely return for another meal.

We enjoyed our early afternoon Sunday meal at Palominos. We chose this place because the menu looked delicious and they have a kids play area inside the restaurant on Sundays, which kept my little one happy! I recommend you call ahead for a reservation and request a table near the kids area if that is what you need as only 4-5 tables are within view of it. Otherwise, the main room has more tables and better ambience overall. We ordered the aguachile ceniza y fuego, short ribs, grilled veggie side and two cocktails. The cocktails were wonderfully presented and delicious. Not too strong, 8.5/10. The food overall was good 7/10. My favorite were the aguachiles. The short ribs were tasty but came out almost cold and not as soft or flavorful as I would have liked. The service was 10/10, no notes! Everyone was wonderful. The ambiance was fun and lively, upscale. It's not a place for a quite intimate dinner imo. I can't wait to come back here and try more of the menu

For anyone that has been to Sonora, they know how good the food is. Palominos has great steaks and great service. Because it's new it seems they are still working out some of the kinks. The place looks very modern and they offer some very good Sonoran dishes.

I had high expectations of this place . I'm very harsh on food and especially when you can't get your medium , well done correctly . They pushed the parillada which was over $300 for 3 meats . Total waste of time . You're better off at taco Palenque for skirt steak!. Beautiful place nice atmosphere but food was sub par and the manager didn't do anything to address the problem. Wanted to remake it . But I don't go out to remake food I go out to eat because I'm hungry now I'm just Angry ! Fook this place ! Go to Wine Cow instead. Thank me later !

The cheese, pears and balsamic glaze all joined together to make a fabulous dish! My husband had the Pepperoni Pizza and he said it was great. Btw, they make their own dough for the pizza and it is perfect. Our friend had the Shrimp Scampi and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and offers comfortable and spacious seating and pleasant decor. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We will be back and we hope you will go, as well. They have 2 additional spaces for groups and special occasions and they have a step down lounge adjacent to the bar with tvs going - perfect for watching the game! Please go! You won't be disappointed!

We also ordered a regular pepperoni pizza. The pizza was really cheesy, which I loved but I think it could have stood to be in the oven a couple more minutes because the center was a little too soggy. But the outer crust was nice and crisp. I ordered the tortellini bolognese. The pasta was cooked nicely but the sauce did not taste like traditional bolognese sauce. It tasted like regular meat sauce. That being said, I enjoyed the taste of the sauce but it was not worth the 20 dollar price, especially since it wasn't even bolognese. The service was nice. Our waitress was attentive and since we were the only ones there at the time, our food came out pretty quick! The space itself was clean and felt homey. Would have loved some Italian music but we enjoyed ourselves either way. All in all, this place was ok, not great but definitely better than some other Italian places I've been. With a few improvements, their food could be really great!

Wine - a stellar wine list, with a focus on Argentina (more Malbecs from different regions than I have ever seen) and incredible value; we had an organic Malbec for $45 with would cost 3x on the East coast Cow it's about the beef! A wood burning grill with the aroma of Mesquite for the Beef Short Ribs, NY Strip, Ribeye (with our without bone), right up to the Tomahawk. I had the lamb chops (8) which were cooked perfectly pink just like in France. All come with a house salad and the sides are amazing. The usual suspects (fries, mashed potatoes etc) but we went for the baked beets with cream cheese, pistachio & arugula and the portobello mushrooms; enough for the table and more to take home for lunch tomorrow... Service was great, despite the cramped conditions It's been a long time since I've had such a great meal out Try it - you will not be disappointed

Water was served right away. They Brought out the bread and tomatoes right away. Had some really good Argentinian red wine. They even let us do some wine tasting . Our daughter's food came out before ours ! Perfect! They fell in love with the Empanadas! As for my wife and I, we ordered Bife con Hueso. Words can't describe how delicious it was, with the chimi churi ! Cooked to perfection, with the right amount of flavor. Mad props to the chef. And presentation 10/10. The whole evening was just at peace. The food. The drinks. The service. The atmosphere. We'll be coming back again! Happy holidays

We decided to try a new place while we were in town - glad we did!…read more The place has a bit of an upscale vibe but folks were dressed from dressed up to somewhat casual. Our server was Sublany and she was awesome. Very personable and her recommendations were spot on. We decided to start with the Calamari with sun dried amogio. The calamari were large and prepared perfectly. The sun dried amogio was amazing - great flavor and some heat - the perfect pairing with the calamari. Great start! We tried the soup of the day which was something we'd never heard of much less eaten. It was a green bean soup - the beans were puréed with cream, some cheese and red pepper flakes. We weren't sure how it would taste by Sublany highly recommended it so we went for it. It was really good - the flavor was subtle but great; nice and creamy. We would definitely order it again. For our entrees my wife tried the salcicce which was pappardelle, fennel sausage, roasted red bell pepper, marinara, caprino and red pepper flakes. It was also very good - the pasta was prepared perfectly and the flavors all worked very well - another hit. I selected the lamb chops which were frenched lollipops, blue cheese cream and an arugula salad. The chops were perfectly prepared and the blue cheese cream on top was amazing - made very good chops excellent. The arugula salad also had a great flavor. I would also order this again. For dessert we decided to share a Hand Pie which was an apple pie with caramel drizzle and ice cream. The texture of the dough was great and the apples had a great cinnamon flavor which worked well with the caramel drizzle and the vanilla ice cream. This place was great! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit more upscale than the run of the mill restaurants!
