There is nothing you will not love about this place. They have so many programs and activities, but I will address only the camp here. There are so many volunteers and staff, all who care about only making the campers happy, safe, and able to form new friendships. They teach kindness and sharing and letting everyone know that no matter your "disability" you are perfect just the way you are. If you have a Special person in your life, you are lucky. After just 5 days they transferred it to a Rescue. The process was so secretive that Animal Control would not even tell me the name of the rescue service. After some serious digging I found out the cat had been transferred to Rover Rescue. They're almost 900 miles away even though we have several rescues within 50 miles. I immediately called Rover Rescue and found out they did have the cat and that it will be going to an adoption event this weekend. They REFUSED to tell me where the event was being held. I wasn't trying to get preferential treatment. I just wanted to have an equal opportunity to re-adopt this cat that has lived with me for the last year and a half and they refused to tell me where it was. Clearly they are not interested in getting animals back with loving families. I really hope it ends up with a good family but it was a stray I took off the streets. It had settled into our family very well. Now they are going to make the cat go through that again. It's also very concerning to me about how secretive the process is, even the name of the organization. Don't know anything about them except today's very inadequate interaction but that level of secrecy is not a good sign.

I can't tell you how much I hoped the rescue wouldn't pick her up and she'd be all mine. But Rover Rescue did come to her rescue. I called them minutes after finding out she had left the shelter. I had to leave a message and I figured I'd get the ball rolling and fill out the application. Kathy returned my call promptly we spoke about the dog. And several days later I picked up my girl from the Vet. Kathy was very helpful and thoughtful with her advice. Foxy came with a leash and a collar and we were given a bag of food to get us started. I love this organization, they do amazing work rescuing IMO the most adorable pooches. I want another one but I don't think Ms. Foxy is ready for a buddy quite yet. IMO the rescue fee is comparable and totally fair. You get a itemized list of all the fees they pay while the dog in their care. You don't have an obligation to pay those fees but it really did show me how much money it does take to save these animals.

During lunch time, all the volunteers will be in the courtyard with their dogs. Each owner has been extremely nice and loves to share stories of the animals. All the animals are well behaved and trained. The volunteers shared that they visit hospitals, senior homes, and other places that can use a little extra joy of dog therapy. Overall, it seems to be low commitment of volunteering with a minimum of once a month, according to one of the volunteers. In the future, when I get a dog, I'd like to enroll and volunteer my dog with this organization.

Because this location opens an hour earlier, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit. I arrived at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. The employee wearing a black mask was extremely rude and had a very unpleasant attitude toward me. His behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome as a customer. I will continue using my usual UPS location, where I receive much better customer service. This is not the only UPS location in the area, and employees should understand that customers have other options.

We have two cats already. My kids know how to interact with animals. I was present with my three year old and supervising her interactions to be sure she pet the cats nicely. My son has been to several cat cafes, is calm, and was just petting the cats quietly. An older woman with short brown hair snatched a toy out of my daughter's hand "to be sure she didn't loose it" I was stunned to see an adult snatch a toy from a toddler like that. She was also making comments about my children being there but they were doing nothing wrong. I could understand if my kids were out of hand but they weren't. If you don't like kids in there, make a no kids rule- but good luck adopting to good families when you treat them like this.

Truly nice people. They called a few days after to see how we were doing and to see if we needed anything. They were great at making us feel like we had a resource, very happy we went with this choice. I recommend anyone looking to hang out with cats or to adopt!
