My dad Hap Ray Builders did a lot of business with this company for years. So I went with them on my own homes garage doors in 4/2017. After 6 years(6-10-23) one of the Wayne Dalton panels has a manufacturers defect. I called and this took months just to get Kenna Palousek(owner) to come out and do a temporary fix until they could warranty the panel which she stated that wouldn't be a problem. Fast Forward to today after calling literally for over a year they claim the panel is no longer manufactured which maybe the case since its been over a year. Now they would have to replace the entire door with a new model. The cost would be possibly my responsibility now according to the secretary. I would not recommend this company as a builder in the Temple, Waco, and Harker Heights area because they won't back their products or answer their phones when you need it fixed. I wouldn't have called for for over a year and gotten the run around if we hadn't done so much business only to get burned. So all these reviews that are negative take them as a serious warning. They will sell you a door fast. But they don't honor the Wayne Dalton Warranty. But after that its on you if there are any issues on something that should last a lot longer than 6 years. I have tried multiple times to get them come fix my door on three different days I was off work. They won't commit to coming. Just say they will try and then don't. I finally just gave up on them and called another company. Don't waste your time trying to get them to come out! I scheduled a week in advance and was the only thing on their list for that day when I scheduled and they still didn't show up. The woman on the phone told me I was the only thing scheduled that day at that time but seemed to get bumped out of the whole day! Crazy!!! read more

Called them two weeks ago to go and repair a garage door on a rental property less than a mile from their business location. The lady I spoke with was pleasant and assured me a technician would go by that day or the next. I never heard anything back. We needed rails put up and a roll up door that was already installed completed on our barn. My husband personally visited the business and set up a time for someone to come out to look at the job. No one showed up at the appointment time and there was no call with an explanation. My husband then called about 1 week later and set up another appointment. Again, no one showed up or called at the appointment time. I called several weeks later and explained the previous two attempts at having someone come out. The lady answering the phone said that she would check on this and call back or have someone call back. It didn't happen! This is very frustrating as this is something that we can't safely or efficiently do ourselves! read more

Called them at 1:30 PM and described that my torsion spring broke and needed a replacement and installation. The receptionist gave me a great price quote and said they might be able to get me in today. The friendly repairman showed up at 4:00 PM, the work was done at 4:30PM. Horrible - Called at 8:14 AM this morning. Garage door torsion spring broken, they said they would be out this afternoon to fix it. Called at 1:24 PM to see if they were still coming to fix the problem. The person said she would call the work crew and call me right back. I called them again at 2:24 PM and they stated that they never heard back from the crews. They stated it might be later today, or later tomorrow. Told them not to bother, that I would call another company. Awful communication. read more
