We had a great experience at Palumbo's! We came in on a Sunday night around 6:30 with a group of six and we were seated immediately. We quickly ordered garlic knots to start off and they were delicious. Our server, Nina, was with us shortly and we put in our pizza orders. We tried three different kinds of the 16 inch thin crust. I got the Hawaiian and it was delicious. The sauce was very sweet but good and there were lots of topping options which I appreciated. It's a very casual vibe and everyone is super friendly, there were definitely a lot of regular recurring customers. Definitely would recommend for families or groups as it was affordable and hit the spot with great service.

Came as a recommendation from friends in Naples. Very clean dining room. Wasn't busy at the time on a Monday night, and order was prepared quickly. I had the Sunday leftover sandwich, which was huge and loaded with meat! It was a little pricy but the portions justify the price. Would love to come back again when in town!

On our last night in Naples, our grandson requested pizza for dinner. Palumbo's Pizzeria was the first on the list and closest to us. It is in the same strip mall as another review of mine for Skillets. They do not have delivery. I called in our order and it was ready in about 20 minutes. We always request our pizza's to have a crispy crust and they got it right! We had the basic large cheese pizza, the sauce was very flavorful. The decor inside was old world modern. They have indoor and outdoor table service. The smell inside was of garlic and sauce. I wish we could have tried more of the menu. If you are in the area and looking for good pizza, give Palumbo's Pizzeria a try!

Wow. Traveling through the area and wanted a pizza. This place looked good. But it wasn't good, it was great! Sat at the pizza bar and the chef is a master. If I come back to Naples I will definitely stop in again.

Great service and wonderful happy staff. Great pizza with thin crust, fresh mozzarella cheese but you may want to buy extra fresh cheese. May want to skip desserts and just eat more yum pizza.

Restaurant is in a good location as you can see it from the road. We ate there one evening on our way back to Marco Island. Ordered pizza and a beer. The pizza was ok but not very tasty. Took a calzone to go and was good reheated the next day. Stopped in again a couple of days later. This time we ordered chicken parmigiana and spaghetti with meatballs entrees. Sadly, the dinner was not good at all. Both plates contained overcooked pasta. The meatballs and the spaghetti were both mushy and lacked flavor. The chicken parmigiana was as thin as the cloth napkins provided with dinner. It was smothered with marinara sauce resembling a stew not a sauce. The overcooked ziti was topped with grated cheese. The table had lots of condiments including grated cheese. If I wanted to add it to my pasta I could have... why garnish it with cheese? The final disappointment is that there's a 3% credit card fee. Something I was not aware of the first time. I did not see a sign about this policy anywhere in the pizzeria. I only recognized it when the bill came. All in all the food is ok not great but, the place is packed every night of the week. I must admit my calzone was good reheated the next day.

Although the restaurant is small, the flavor is big! The menu has a good variety of pizza, calzone, salads and even a few subs. The pizza with the cauliflower crust was interesting and so was the Sicilian, but we decided on the usual pepperoni. This was a great choice, the flavors were balanced and the crust is true New York style, both crusty and chewy. It's one of the best pizza crusts I've found in Naples, IMO New York crusts make the best pizza. Service was fast and the staff is great, it's obvious they make a lot of pizzas here and know their stuff. If you like New York style pizza, this is a place to check out.

Every dish felt like it was made with real care and tradition. Dessert took it to another level -- the gelato was fantastic, but the real highlight was the tableside homemade tiramisu, which was both impressive and absolutely delicious. He asked what he could do to make it better, and I didn't really know what was wrong with it. Maybe there wasn't any simple syrup? We were fortunately seated outside, as it was very noisy inside. We had a great table and our server came with our menu and the wine list as well as some crusty bread. There are numerous salads, appetizers, entrees, and even pizza on the menu. I started with a Caesar salad, which I thought was super pricey, but was very good. I was able to enjoy it before I ordered my entree. I chose the gnocchi and a glass of wine. The gnocchi came out in minutes and was some of the lightest, fluffiest gnocchi I have had since New York City ages ago. Good choice. The server wasn't rushing us, but let us enjoy our meal at our pace, which was refreshing. Overall, nice experience.

The Tiramisu Was Easily the Star of the Show…read more Stopped by on a Saturday and had a nice dinner overall. The atmosphere is cozy with warm lighting, making it a good spot to relax and enjoy a meal. There is also a bar area with TVs, which felt a little different from the typical Italian vibe, but it did not take away from the experience. Service was friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night and you could definitely feel it. Everything moved a bit slower, and we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes for the check at the end because our server was not around. We started with the meatballs in red sauce and really enjoyed them. Simple, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. One thing I was not expecting was being charged for the bread. It was fresh and good, but it is not something I usually associate with Italian restaurants. For the main course, we had the cacio e pepe. The flavor was there, but the sauce was a bit too liquid for my preference. It is a difficult dish to get right, and while it was good, I think it could have been a little better. The tiramisu was absolutely the highlight. The balance between the cream and the ladyfingers was spot on, and it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. Overall, good location, nice atmosphere, and solid food. The tiramisu is the one thing I would absolutely come back for.

This place was not good. I don't know how else to say it…read more The server was flat out rude and acted like she could not be bothered. She didn't offer drink refills, didn't check in on us, and basically just plopped the food down and walked away. My pizza was not cooked thoroughly and tasted like dough. I asked to have it put back in the wood-fired oven, and while it came back with a crispier crust, the actual pizza still tasted undercooked and doughy. The lobster ravioli was also disappointing and felt misleading. Every lobster ravioli I've ordered elsewhere has usually been stuffed with lobster or at least had a decent amount inside. This was basically cheese ravioli with very little lobster sprinkled throughout. Definitely not worth it, and the cheese itself tasted off. Overall, there are much better options in Naples. For a ravolli, a salad, and a drink, the total was around $80, which is ridiculous for food this subpar. Do your research before coming here.
