We were also in another state, so she had to tour houses and take videos for us until we relocated to AZ, before buying a house. Brit rose to the challenge, because she is simply the best. First, she is professional. You can tell this isn't her first rodeo, and she deftly navigated various challenges we encountered during our buying process. She is very knowledgeable, not just in geographic areas, but also the process. She did her due diligence in evaluating the conditions of houses (since we could not initially tour them in person) as well as comparables in the market. Even past our closing, we've continued to occasionally ask her for recommendations for various services. She has not once steered us wrong. She also had to play psychologist and cheer us up when our first offer was declined and the sellers chose another buyer. Throughout the process, she was the rock that we could lean upon. I'm pretty sure we didn't get any special treatment in this process - that she treats all of her buyers and sellers this way. She was always available to us when we had questions (and we tried not to monopolize or abuse her time). We were very particular about what we wanted in our house, and she did a tremendous job of showing us only places that met our criteria. She didn't try to push us to consider homes that weren't what we wanted. It's our intention to make the house we purchased our long-term residence, so hopefully we will not need her assistance in the future. His communication is slim to none, you're constantly chasing him for a response and then he lies. At the beginning when I went into the office very upset, his mother-in-law (the owner) Lisa smoothed things over saying she's aware he needs to work on his communication and they are. They even went as far as saying "this landlord is difficult and we've threatened to fire them". I now believe they probably say the same things to the landlord about us and this is why he won't communicate with us directly. I was hoping that meant things would improve. They have not. And looking back at multiple reviews it's always been an issue. We are easy tenants by far luckily, but I know he plays us and the landlord against each other to make himself look better, which has me very concerned about end of lease. (Which he hasn't even acknowledged our notice and questions yet) All i can say is i hope my experience in the industry and all my videos and emails/texts will help us to move on without too many issues. If you are an owner I would look elsewhere, and if you're a tenant thinking of renting from an owner using BBR DO NOT SIGN, you will regret it. Trust me.
