Pamela quite literally saved my wedding. My original dress did not get delivered in time for alterations - so I had to find a sample sale gown and hope for the best. Luckily I found two dresses - one that I loved the body on and another that had amazing lace detailing. Pamela took both gowns and merged them into the most beautiful franken-dress ever. You would have no idea they were two different dresses. Her calm demeanor and get it done attitude helped calm my anxious bride energy. She assured me that the last minute gown would be ready on time - which it was. When we realized the veil from my original dress didn't match - she made a new one for me using lace from one of the dresses. Because my husband and I planned our wedding on skis, she added small details that made a world of difference to the dress - such as a firm element to help the back flow nicely as we skied. Great place to go to for Prom, Semi-Formals, Special Occasions and definitely for Brides! Pamela frequently goes to shows in NYC several other cities to purchase her gowns. For girls who are looking for that special Prom gown I highly recommend you stopping in. Pamela does all the alterations herself and she notes what school you are attending Prom at, therefore if your dress comes in multiple colors no other girl from your school will be able to get the same color gown as you. If the dress comes in only one color then no one else will be able to purchase it that goes to the same school. Now you no longer have to worry showing up to Prom or any other dance and have 1 or more girls wearing the same thing as you! As for your special Wedding day, she has many different bridal, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. If you have a specific dress in mind then bring in a picture, designer, style number and any other information you have on it into the store. Chances are pretty good that Pamela can order it in for you. I highly recommend calling ahead and make an appointment to look at the dresses; this will guarantee to you one-on-one time with Pamela. She will be there to answer all your questions or call the dress companies herself to get you the answers. She also helps you try on the gowns to show you how the dress will look when it is your actual size. There are many dresses in the store that you can try on and purchase right then and there if you want. Otherwise many women will have Pamela measure them and have the dresses ordered in their exact size and color they want. I also recommend that the moment you find out you will need a dress for whatever your special is to get in to see Pamela ASAP! It takes time to order from a manufacturer and do the alterations needed. Generally speaking I would give it anywhere from 2-4 months. I purchased my gown from Pamela 9 months ahead of time so that way I didn't have to stress out if something happened on the manufacturers end, which something usually does. She also had my bridal gown preserved for me too. As with anything in life, you are better off to be prepared than to wait and do it at the last minute! I showed up at Pamela Moore Bridals after a really bad experience with an online company, three months before my wedding. I was in serious trouble, especially because I had my heart set on a custom design. Pamela leapt into action. She worked with me to create the dress of my dreams, teaching me about the process, which I found fascinating, and going above and beyond to get every detail right. She worked tirelessly right up until the week of my wedding to finish my dress. I loved my dress with my whole heart. It was even better than what I had dreamed of. I felt like the best version of myself in it. It was affordable and made for me. I couldn't have asked for more! What I also learned from visiting Pamela's shop on a number of occasions is that her selection of gowns that she didn't make are also spectacular. I looked everywhere for a mother of the groom dress. My friend suggested Pamela Moore Bridals in Brattleboro, Vermont. I contacted Pamela through her Facebook page with some questions. Within less than 24 hours, she got back to me, within another 24 hours she had checked her inventory as I had a very specific need. I set up an appointment even though it wasn't during normal business hours. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the service I received. She had several dresses ready for me to try on. She gave honest opinions about the dresses and how I appeared. Pamela wasn't trying to sell me a dress, she was trying to find a dress that I would like and be comfortable in. She measured me, and ordered a dress in the right color and size. She followed up when the dress came in. It's perfect! Best of all it was less expensive than she originally said it would be! Pamela is a magician! I came to her with a beautiful wedding dress - ballgown style - covered with lace almost everywhere (with tiny stitching holding it on) that was about 7-9" too long. Quite a project! She was creative and held extra fittings with me to get everything sitting just right. She even used her knowledge as a corsetière to apply certain tricks to lift my gown off the ground so it was easy to glide right into married life! I feel she is an inspired artist, exceptional fashion designer and is easy to work with. I highly recommend her and would make the trip from Keene to work with her again! Brava!! read more

Don't be surprised if she's not exactly friendly if you do a walk-in. I've never been to a wedding salon that expects you to make an appointment to browse and try on dresses. This one? Yup, it's the preferred way it seems. My dress was to be ready on a specific day. It was not ready. I don't care what the excuse is, bottom line is that it was.not.ready at the agreed upon time. It should have been ready to go at the open of business and NOT an hour after the client comes to pick it up. She could easily have called me a few days prior and told me about it being late and if she couldn't do it, have a friend call me. It added a lot of stress to my already tight schedule. Would I work with her again? Maybe, I don't know. It wasn't a horrible experience. It just was not the best bridal salon experience I've encountered--both as a bride or bridesmaid. If you're looking to be doted on and pampered, this might not be your place. read more

Very disappointed with the quality of service. The store was closed and the owner could not be reached by phone on numerous occasions. When my daughter finally got her dress it was 3 sizes too big. One week before the wedding we are struggling to find someone to alter the dress. read more

I've been here to try on wedding gowns and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Not a great selection when I went. I didn't end up getting my gown here however I did have to order a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding. I had my measurements done here but when the dress came in it was 2-3 sizes too big. Come to find out several other bridesmaids had the same issue. I actually called to make sure I didn't have someone else's dress but when I spoke with someone they completely disregarded my concern by telling me that the dress was probably big because I had probably lost weight or toned up over the summer. I think I would have noticed if I lost weight (especially 2-3 dress sizes) seeing as how I still fit into the same clothes that I was wearing when the measurements were taken. Not sure if they were just trying to get more money for alterations. Either way I wasn't impressed by this. I will not be getting my bridesmaids dresses here. read more
