I had such a great experience here! I booked online for an appointment during their sale this July! The communication was wonderful from the start. Being by appointment only made this experience feel extra special. I tried on many different dresses and the process was comfortable and helpful. I felt like a princess. The deal during the sale, I mean you just can't beat! I got my inspiration from their Pinterest link, tried the dress on and purchased it! there are not too many bridal stores around here, so we went to Alibers. I booked an appt and was limited to 3 people. if I wanted up to 5, I needed to pay for VIP, which seems a little nuts. anyways, we went, I tried on maybe 30 dresses, but i felt like I was somewhat rushed to decide. I was torn between 2 and still not even sure. but it was clear they were done showing me anymore options. even though I wasn't really in love with one. the dress I did pick was gorgeous, don't get me wrong. it required a lot of alterations because I bought off the rack. I'm a size 8, they sold me a size 14. they assured me the seamstress could take it in and fit it to me. Due to my timing, I'd decided to take their word for it and paid $1500. when I took it to my seamstress (who I highly recommend, Nancy at the right fit In Brattleboro), she looked at me like I was insane. she said this isn't the first time I've seen a dress come from this store so big And that the owner, she shouldn't have sold you this. it took her essentially rebuilding the corset to bring it in 6 inches for it to fit me. Hours of labor. Removing and reattaching lace, we also added some straps and hemmed it. it cost $600 and that's because she capped it for me because in order to get it perfect, she donated to me some hours. the dress looked stunning after she did her work. a few days leading up to my wedding, I get a text from alibers saying that they heard my wedding was cancelled and that they could take my dress off my hands. first of all, my wedding was not cancelled. second of all, why would I give them back the dress I paid for and had in my possession. when I said where did you hear that?! she replied oops, wrong person! even though in the text she said my name. overall, got the job done. wasnt overly impressed with any part of the experience. I'd probably go somewhere else if I were a bride or recommending to someone else. read more

I bought my wedding dress and had its alterations done at Aliber's for my November 2021 wedding. Knowing this would be the single most expensive piece of clothing I've ever bought (and probably ever will), I knew I wanted a dress that made me feel beautiful and an experience that made me feel special, all without breaking the bank. Aliber's had a beautiful selection of gowns to choose from, all of which fit into my budget. They also had sample dresses in multiple sizes, which, as a plus size bride, made my shopping experience that much more pleasant. I went to other boutiques before trying them and the only reason I waited was because I didn't want to pay an appointment fee (which they credit if you purchase a dress that day). Overall, every experience I had was positive. Cristen was wonderful. I know she and the team work with hundreds of brides but she always made me feel like I was the only one and even remembered names and stories from one appointment to the next. read more

Stopped by Aliber's this weekend to look at some bridesmaid dresses with my partner and we were sadly surprised at our experience at this store. When we entered, the first thing that we encountered was the fact that we had to take off our shoes. This was a bit strange due to the fact that we have been to other dress boutiques in the past and have never seen this before. In the past if someone is trying on a dress they have to go to the "no shoe dressing area", but never have we had to walk around the store shoeless. The next major flaw with this store was the customer service. When we entered the store the saleswoman said hello... and that was then end of our interactions. She did not ask to help us and made no effort to assist in the slightest. The shop had a great selection of dresses, but we ended up leaving because the staff seemed too preoccupied to help out. Overall, this place has great potential, and maybe we hit it on an off day, but we felt uncomfortable while shopping here and wished the experience had been better. read more

Aliber's was the second bridal boutique on my journey to find The Dress. Although I didn't purchase my wedding dress for Aliber's, I can recommend it as a very reasonable option to peruse and try on gowns. This bridal salon was also represented at the Big E wedding expo, and even handed out envelopes for money-off a wedding gown purchase (sealed until you came for your appointment). It was a cold and icky evening in January when I walked through the doors. And I was rushing in from a long, hard day of work. Unfortunately, this meant that I looked quite a mess: my hair was thrown up in bun, I had on my warmest winter clothing, and generally didn't look like a bride-to-be. Since I work in Greenfield, but live in Springfield, there was really no way around it. Cristen, the owner at Aliber's, greeted me warmly. The shop was inviting, well thought out, and quite beautiful. Yes, you are asked to remove your shoes, which yes, did kind of feel a bit pretentious, but understand that they are trying to protect the gorgeous gowns that fill the room. We took our time looking at a few dresses; I had seen some Justin Alexander gowns that I wanted to try on, and those were included in her list of designers. The try-on room is tiny: only room for the bride and maybe one person can squeeze in to assist. Cristen actually waited outside while I stepped into the gown, and then she helped zip me into it. I loved the pedestal and 180 mirror (plus the mirrors on the wall behind the pedestal), it really helped me to get a full view of the dresses. Aliber's also has quite the selection of accessories. I asked to see a couple of bolero/sleeve options and she had several to choose from. I was quite disappointed that I didn't look the part of a bride, with my hair a mess and my makeup half undone. Cristen politely (though it kind of stung when she said it), suggested that I make another appointment for when I had more time to primp. She was very helpful in helping get my mom on FaceTime to see the dress, and even took loads of pictures for me to look at when I got home. And she did this without the slightest complaint or hesitation. At the end of the evening, I had a very good idea of the style of dress that looked best on my body, and felt better about the direction these appointments were going. Cristen continued to keep in contact with me in the months following my appointment. And though I ended up purchasing my wedding dress at another boutique, I can still say with some assurance that this is one of the better bridal salons in Western Mass. They have lots of accessories, beautiful gowns, and with their added history (since 1920), you know this is a shop you can trust. read more

I really appreciated that even though I had an extremely tight budget, I still received great service, and found the perfect gown within my price range! I also had some restrictions with modesty, and this was cared for as well. The store put so much hard work into helping me find my dress, and it definitely paid off! read more

Recently my sister got her wedding dress from Aliber'a and initially the owner was very nice . Once the dress was bought she was very rude when asking about bridesmaids dresses since bridesmaids were from all over we choose a company a more convenient. During alterations we had the owners mother who was nothing but rude and unaccommodating. I would not recommend this establishment to future brides and bridesmaids. My sister did switch seamstresses and she was great and much more accommodating to what my sister was asking for. read more

I recently got married and Aliber's bridal was the place I got my gown. Cristen, the owner, stuck with me every step of the way, trying on of ALL the gowns in the store that I wanted to try on. Finally, when I was about to give up, she suggested the perfect gown. I didn't want to take it off, and she let me stay in it for as long as I wanted. Even after the manufacturer screwed up the shipping of the dress, they found the problem and fixed it promptly and kept me informed every step of the way. The lines of communication were always open and any question I had they answered or found the answer to. Even after my dress Cristen helped me find the perfect accessories and was patient with me when I forgot my wallet, almost every single time. And on my last day into the shop to pick up my wedding dress, Cristen was there to offer support and comfort when I was super stressed out and overwhelmed. I recently bought my bridal gown at Aliber's and I couldn't have had a better experience. I tried the usual places, David's Bridal and the like, and there's no contest to a smaller shop that will really pay attention to you. Cristen was patient and extremely helpful. The gown I picked was one of her choices. It was nothing like what I thought I wanted, but it's gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it! It's perfect for my body type and I'm very comfortable in it. She also went out of her way to help me find bride's maid dresses. My girls are all over the pace geographically so that is so helpful. I was really dreading the whole experience of gown shopping, and I ended up being so happy that I am even more excited about my wedding! read more

My son was a student at Northfield Mt. Hermon school. He rented a tux, costing $150 using his own money for the senior prom. Aliber's Bridal checked his measurements and issued him a tuxedo. He picked up his tux Thursday before prom on Saturday. He was too busy with school work, finals and rowing competitions to try on his tux before the prom. On the night of prom he tried on his tux and it was two sizes too big. He returned his tux and was told that he could not have a refund because he didn't let Aliber's know that the tux was too big before his prom. There is no indication on the Tuxedo Contract that their are no refunds if tuxes are not wearable. In addition we are talking about 17 and 18 year old children here who do not usually deal with contracts. read more

Alibers bridal is a very horrible business. 3 days before my wedding day I tried my dress on and it didnt fit me. In panic I called the owner Christen for help. Her exact words on the phone were "I am not certain if we will be able to fix it. We have to see the dress to see if we can fix it"...that is not reassuring to a bride who's wedding is 3 days away. So I took action and Made a Plan B. I took my dress to a Man in greenfield who does alterations. He didn't even see the dress to tell me it is possible to fix. So I brought my gown to him and what he saw disgusted him. Things I did not even catch with my own eyes. I paid $300 for them to steam clean my dress and there were wrinkles all over it they left gold saftey pins all over my dress and didn't even make me a bustle!!! What the hell!!......i am also pregnant and Alibers had the nerve to email me and tell me that pregnancy can take a toll on someone's body as well as stressed like it was my fault that th dress didn't fit. Too fucking bad if it was me being pregnant. They weren't "certain" that they could fix it. I complained and demanded for my money back and they would not give it to me without letting them fix my dress. Hell no! I do not trust them with my dress with only 2 days till my wedding with all of the mistakes that they have already made. Cristen was very rude and u professional to my made of honor. She was loudly yelling at her. Customers are always right no matter the situation and for the owner to raise her voice and talk rude to a customer is another reason I dislike this business. Please do not get your dress at Alibers. Too many mistakes are done there and they treat you like shit it you don't buy the most expensive packages. Thanks to the man who fixed my dress I will have a beautiful wedding this weekend. read more
