I went here foe the first time last week and i really loved how well my nails were shaped by the lady who did it yet the art work was just not the best. Lines we off. the yellow was see through, I asked to fix two of the nails and gave up bc she seemed tired. I came in today and the lady who had me was very rude after i flinched a couple times in pain cause the bed was sensitive. She told me "dont get my nails done so much then" and this was the first time in 6 months!! I came back bc i was tired of the design from last week. My skin was burning cause of the alcohol foil (which never happens!) So i took it off and she was upset i did that without telling her i was burning. She didn't speak to me after that nor even before that. I felt very uncomfortable and finally i asked to fix an uneven nail and she had a harsh tone with me i wanted to cry! I want to have beautiful nails and i pay alot of money to get them done, why do you get upset when we expect it to be done well. My nails are still uneven but by then end i just wanted to leave i felt so uncomfortable and treated not okay. A-lot of us never get days off and when we do and want to relax and enjoy our day we don't wanna get treated like this! Don't work with people if you cant have patients to help them get what they want and expect good work! Im a nurse and i work at a understaffed hospital, trust me Ive had my fair share of picky people and stressful busy days but never would i get a bad attitude for them asking for better. read more

I went to get my nails done a little over a month ago with pamper nails, and the reviews don't match up with what I got. I asked to get gel nails at first, but decided that nex gen would be better for getting chrome. I wasn't asked what shape I wanted or how long i wanted my nails. The end product was very bumpy and super thick. I went back the next day, and Van did fix the bumpiness and thickness of my nails and was very accommodating. After taking off my nails I ended up with some nail damage, and wouldn't recommend having anyone else but Van do your nails. read more

My new favorite nail salon. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. I got nexgen nails and a toe polish change. They helped me pick out a toe nail polish to match my nexgen manicure perfectly. They let me try the nexgen color on one nail to see if I liked it before applying to all of my nails and checked multiple times to see if I liked my nail shape. Great attention to detail and very service oriented. Plus my nexgen was smooth and not too thick like other nail salons I have gone to in the past. read more

Went today for the first time and my girl was aggressive and rude. My sister went also and they cut her finger and when we asked for a discount they said if they cut somebody unless they have to go to the doctor they don't do anything for them. Not the best thing to say and do. Also VERY PRICEY. Be prepared to spend over $100 for mani and pedi. read more

We went here to get nails done for my daughter's 16th birthday, I made an appointment a few days ahead of time, we got there right at 9am and they were ready to go, the place was clean and the tools used for trimming were unwrapped (nice and sanitary) people were nice, worked quickly but still did good work. I used to love this place. My sister, mother and I all pay for "memberships." Today we walked in and were told there was a 15 minute wait for two kids pedicures. Okay... we pick out blue, pink, green, and glitter and wait patiently. 20 minutes later, my 4 and 6 year old were told, "Yeah...sorry, we actually don't have the time." While this was unprofessional, I'm mostly appalled at the lack of empathy shown to two little girls who waited that out. No discount next time? Come back for one on us? Heartbroken. I have never written a bad review in life. They lack good customer service. I had a great experience my first time with Jessica. She is so gentle and caring. The second time I went to get my nails done Jessica had a client, so I decided to go with next available nail technician because I was in a hurry. Let me start by saying WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! After putting on the color on five finger nails. I noticed the color was a bit transparent and weird, so I apologized and asked her to take it out that I don't mind paying extra for the inconvenience. She started raising her voice while replying. I was shocked and could not believe it. I felt like crying because everyone turned and stared at me. I could not say a word because I was shocked by the kind of customer service I was receiving. Secondly, I noticed after the incident she started getting aggressive with my nails. I kept quiet because at that point I just wanted to get out the nail salon. Then, I noticed the other lady by my side was exchanging notes with the lady doing her pedicure, and they both laughed and made rude remarks about me. I saw what the lady wrote on her phone, but I am choosing not to write it out here. I am highly disappointed, and I will never return. I went to this nail salon for prom I was recommended by a coworker who goes to another location!!! Within 3 days time my nails began to crack from the root and eventually broke off causing me extreme pain!! I normally am loyal to my nail salon for how long they last so prior to this I can't even remember the last time I broke my nails!! My nails felt completely rushed and they came up to 68$ which was pricey for the look of my nails I'm a high school senior so I'm finishing my finals week not doing anything intensive but I've been super busy to just go get my nails fixed but when my thumb broke causing me to bleed tremendously I called them to fix my nails the lady gave me lots of attitude and kept questioning me about what I was doing and when I came in by the time I called it has been 8 days and she said she could not fixed them because they had a week policy moral of the story do not go here they are over priced and they don't last long for what you spend your nails will break off read more

SO HAPPY!! Jin was awesome. This was my first time coming to a new spot after 4 years with my last gal in Plano who recently took a new career path. Jin asked me about 5 different times if I was happy with my shape, as I like them a little narrow without looking coffin. She definitely went out of her way to make sure I was happy throughout the service as well as after. In past experiences with other places, the nail techs can tend to make it fairly apparent when they get frustrated with their clients critiques. I overheard the convo that another client was having next to me with her tech, Katie, who was also going above and beyond with her client; ensuring she was happy with her service and continued to respond in a very polite and patient manner. I went into this shop after reading the stellar reviews on here. I was thoroughly disappointed by my treatment here. They attempted to nickel and dime me out of $15 extra dollars for shape, tips AND length. The first person who was doing my nails got up in the middle of the service and stopped to tell me someone else would be finishing my service. The new technician came over, introduced herself and then told me $5 more for my nails. I told her I would not be paying anything else. I got through the service, frustrated and ready to get out of there. Everything else went fine until I went home and looked at my toes. The woman didn't even cover my full toenail with the top coat. I will never go back to this shop. I have been to better shops who don't nickel and dime you and dont treat you as a valued customer. read more

Sooo my mom and I have started coming to this place like a month or two ago... we used to frequent Nail Lounge on McDermott. I still like Nail Lounge and the people there but ended trying this little place out because Nail Lounge was booked, as always, and my mom and I needed some last minute mani-pedis. So this place is on the smaller side with only a few staff members, but they are wonnnnderfuuuul!!! It's always the same people working and they are very in tune with their clients. They are a little pricier than Nail Lounge, but worth the extra $10. Also or manis last forever-- they all stay on until we go back for our next visit. Absolutely fantastic experience at Pamper Nails today. Friday I messaged them asking for a last minute appointment before flying out for my wedding. Sunday afternoon I was there and in the chair. I learned about gel nail polish for the first time--I had thought I wanted regular polish but they convinced me. So glad they did! Really really beautiful job. The polish feels like it will really last. I also got my eyebrows waxed. I was amazed how well they did on my brows from just looking at one picture of my wedding makeup look. I had had a bad experience getting my brows done when I was much younger, where I lost most of the eyebrows and was really upset. This is not what happened here! I wanted to like this place, I really did. Especially with all the 5 stars. It started off good. I messaged on Facebook for an appointment and got an immediate response. They got me and my 2 girls the first appointments of the day. Off to a great start! I got a mani/pedi while my girls got nails only. I will say my girls enjoyed their experience. The reasons I did not were because when the lady filed my nails, she did it so rough on the sides of my nail and for so long that it actually hurt. I did tell her "ouch" after awhile and she apologized. It seemed everyone was in such a hurry. People were leaving due to the wait time. The person that did my pedicure, when she massaged my legs it was not relaxing at all. It was quick and rushed and no care was taken. It was just to hurry and move to the next person. The other thing I didn't care for and this may have been why the filing hurt so much, is that they only dipped my nails in the Nexgen powder once. This left the nails thin. The place I was going to in Plano would dip your nail 3 times at a minimum. It left your nails thick and overall looked much better. I will be going back to Plano. read more

It's clean inside, the employees are all very nice and communicate well, and I've had a few ombrés done that were excellent. I had been going to Pamper Nails every 2-3 weeks for about a year now. You may ask why? Because honestly, there are not any nail salons in the Allen area with stellar reviews, so I settled for one that was clean. My last visit was the push I needed to find a new salon. I went to Nexgen Nails today and it's a night and day difference in service! Nexgen includes everything that Pamper Nails likes to charge you extra for...and your nails actually look good when you leave the salon. Pamper Nails never checks your nail lengths to make sure they are even, my dip nails are always wavy and not smooth, the pedicures are always really painful (one client even told me she knows to take Tylenol before her appointment!!), they've even waxed off a huge chunk of my eyebrow during a waxing...and STILL had the audacity to make me pay for it. I had a nail crack and break 2 days after my dip manicure the last time, I stopped by to get it fixed and they told me to make an appointment...umm, it doesn't take long to fix my nail. That was the icing on top. Avoid this place, don't settle like I did. Drive 2 seconds down the road to Nexgen Nails for a better experience. read more

Took my daughter here tonight for father/daughter date night. We both had pedicures. The place is very clean, and everyone is very nice. My wife and I get pedicures together from time to time. It's a great way for us to relax and connect. Since my daughter is 5 months pregnant she especially loved the pampering, and is a great way for us to hang and talk without all the normal distractions. I was able to book our appointments the evening before through yelp. Van was quick to respond. Van did my daughters pedicure and Tram did mine. This was probably my 6th or 7th pedicure, each in a different place around Collin county. This was by far the best one I've had. So this will be the place I take my wife next. read more

Wonderful nexgen polish. Been twice and they are the only place that cuts your cuticles and gives real manicure with nexgen .
