The previous owner was extremely personable, polite and displayed gratitude for her customers. We never had any issues until the second owner took over. At first, she was great, very bland personality but did a good job so we continued to patronize her business. About 9 months ago I was on my way to take my dog to get groomed and he had started to develop symptoms similar to he ate something bad or was ill. He began excessively vomiting and seemed very lethargic. He had not ever experienced anything like this before and it was so sudden so I became concerned took him to the vet and they told me he needs to rest and lots of fluids so I had to cancel my appointment. Of course, I missed the appointment as I was at the vet, it was the first time I have ever missed an appointment. The vet said he needed rest and didn't think it would be wise to take him in case he had the flu. So I called the owner apologizing profusely and she was not understanding she did not care about the well-being Of my animal. I did not want to risk getting any other pets sick! You'd think she would appreciate me not wanting to possibly get other dogs sick. Fast forward to this incident I had an appointment scheduled for February 18th at 9 am written both on my paper calendar and my phone calendar. I walk in and she abrasively says your appointment yesterday and I apologized and said there must have been a misunderstanding because I wrote it down on two calendars. *** SIDE NOTE***this same incident has happened to SEVERAL customers according to her yelp reviews and googles reviews so I am NOT the only customer this has happened to as she claimed I was the only one ) *** She goes into saying all these unprofessional and abrasive things and begins to make comments about my life how I need to manage my and priorities differently. Mind you, I run several businesses and a family so that was not relevant obviously she felt the need to pick apart someone to make herself feel better. I understand how challenging it can be to run an independent small business however it's all about being professional, having grace, post your rules and regulations in case of a missed appointment as salons and other groomers so. She obviously seems to have deeper issues and I believe that is a reason why she hashed out so incredibly volatile. I will never bring my business to doggie delight and all the other customers who I referred years ago to get their pets groomed as a result of my experience will take their business elsewhere.

My pup is Sam. She got me on the schedule, took care of his GROOMS and he is a happy camper. I have seen and heard the worst things through the years about different services, small and big business, and actually had some poor experiences myself. G2GO gave me the peace of mind and comfort right from the jump that people who make their pets family like I do, need. The pricing was fair and competitive for the area. I don't even know if there are other mobile groomers serving the area, but with this experience here in Camp Verde, I couldn't have asked for more for my money.

She took a few minutes to meet our dog so that he would feel comfortable with her. Shayna asked good questions and listened to all of my input. Our dog was a little matted since it had been several weeks since his last grooming plus he had been swimming a few times. Shayna took the time to get the mats out without shaving him. He looks terrific. Shayna arrived on time with her grooming rig. She was very considerate of our neighbors in where she parked it. Her grooming trailer was neat and clean and air conditioned. She has a hot water heater so that the dogs can be bathed in warm (not cold!) water. I will definitely be booking with Shayna again.

I'm still hoping to better understand: -Where the matting was on both dogs and how severe it was -Why such a short shave was chosen without checking first -And to request that I be contacted before any future decisions like that or a sanitary shave I had my two dogs groomed here on March 26 and had a mixed experience, but what's most disappointing is the lack of communication afterward. To start, I understand that my Great Pyrenees had some matting since she's newly adopted, and I do appreciate that the groomer took care of her. However, I was surprised at how short she was shaved and would have really appreciated a call before making that decision. For my Husky, I was told he had "severe matting," which was confusing since he's been consistently groomed for years and has never had that issue. His coat also didn't appear heavily impacted afterward, so I was hoping for clarification on where and how severe the matting was. Additionally, a sanitary shave was done without checking with me first, which I would have preferred to approve beforehand. What's most frustrating is that the owner specifically told me to reach out if anything seemed off and that they would follow up. I sent a detailed message the day after the appointment and a polite follow-up a few days later, and I have yet to receive any response. I value communication and transparency, especially when it comes to decisions about my pets' care. Unfortunately, the lack of response has left me feeling unheard and hesitant to return. I would have preferred to resolve this directly, which is why I messaged twice before posting. I'd still appreciate that clarification.

I never could get another appointment. They were too busy. I finally got an appointment in Sedona and took him in, while I was at it I took a friend's shitzu. They charged me double what they said, took 4 hours and my poor traumatized dog spent 4 days hiding, cowering and afraid to go in the car. Well, third time truly is the charm. Little Yellow House Pet Grooming was quick to get into, listened to what I said and did it, my traumatized dog came out prancing and showing off his new "do". I also took our other dog who had never been groomed for companionship for Cody. Winston looks so cute., Their pricing was great. Their shop is sooooo clean. The dogs are happy and so am I! Check them out. I have told all my doggy friends! Pictures are attached though they were too busy with treats to pose for me!

This time my groomer was Sidney (not sure on spelling), and before grooming she called to ask permission to shave underneath my husky and around his chest area. I agreed to THAT only. At no point was I told she intended to shave his entire body. I picked up my husky completely shaved down, which was shocking and honestly devastating. Huskies have a double coat, and shaving them is generally not recommended unless medically necessary. If a full shave was being considered, that absolutely should have been clearly discussed and approved beforehand. I'm honestly embarrassed to even take him out for walks right now because of the stares and comments I know we're going to get. Beyond appearance, I'm also genuinely concerned about his sun protection and ability to properly regulate his temperature now that his coat has been shaved off. My issue is not with the salon as a whole, since I've had positive experiences there previously. My issue is specifically with the lack of communication and consent from this groomer. I trusted that my instructions would be followed, and they were not. I'm extremely disappointed and hope management addresses this so it doesn't happen to another owner.

Having a mobile groomer here was a blessing! I love it. In an hour Chili was beautifully groomed and back in the house safe and sound. She gets intimidated with other barking dogs so having her sit in a cage at a groomer with them around just doesn't work. She took to Melissa immediately and it was a great experience all around! She brought us over to do an evaluation and see how our dogs get along with her Lab and a couple other dogs staying there. Mindy and her husband do such an amazing job at sending us updates with pictures and communicating in a timely manner. It's also nice to know that groups are more intimate so I know my dogs as well as the other dogs staying with them get all the affection and attention they can get! We took him a few times for daycare before we left and he loved it. They were very attentive and he got to play with other dogs and still got his scratches and pets. He wasn't all that excited to leave. We will continue to bring him for daycare so he can see his new doggie and human friends. Enzo boarding experience was just as great as daycare. They continually send pictures and let us know how he was doing but we could see from his face he was having a grand time. We are so relieved to have a place to leave our precious little boy knowing that he is safe, happy and very well taken care of!!! Thank you House of Mutts!!!
