I am a previous employee... I strongly urge all customers to read this! The owner Jeremy Fields, screwed me pretty badly. He NEVER provided a single pay stubs, and he NEVER SUPPLIED A W2! I had to file an amended return and now am staring at the possibility of BANKRUPTCY because he failed to provide any financial documentation. I contacted him many times to no avail. Excellent team, I had my girlfriend drop off my husky which has had issues with a particular place I was using (Federal Way - PetSmart). Since we stopped going to our old groomer it had been a while and our dog was a little over-grown. The team assured us this was no issue and provided transparent pricing. This team was not only welcoming to our dog but provided excellent customer service. This is the best cut my dog has had in two years and they were exceptionally fast as well. I of course didn't realize that until I was literally right there. The lack of customer service has declined significantly. When we first brought our dog in last year they treated us like gold and were very cautious and gentle with our new rescue. Getting and obtaining an appointment is a different story. The online scheduling system is great if it works. You can schedule an appointment , but if they do not confirm the appointment on their end it does not schedule your appointment. I have scheduled something and shown up to not being on the books on their end. They apologized and was able to get me in at another date. This time I had called 2 times with no answer so I left a message. My call was not returned. I called again the next day with no answer so I scheduled online, but when I did not get a confirmation I was unsure if it had processed. I called a couple more times with no answer during business hours and finally I just got in my car to go down there. I get that it is probably hard to hear a phone over dogs and blow dryers. The lady helped confirm my appointment and did not mention anything else at that time. My husband went to take our dog in and the lady would not take our dog because she said her rabies had expired in November. He told her that they had taken her in 2 times before November without a problem. I just checked her vaccination records and it expired last week. While I understand that they cannot take a dog with expired vaccines for their safety, they had the vaccination records incorrect in their system and they had several chances to tell us that it had expired if their records show November. I'm giving 2 stars because they started out being so great. Trying to schedule an appointment and being turned away 2 times makes customers feel they do not value the customer's time and money so we will no longer be taking our pet to this business. read more

I'm excited to be taking my newly adopted 7 year old toy poodle to her grooming apt at Pampered Pets today. She is the sweetest lil dog ever! I've had her to the vet and into another place to have her nails trimmed and she was extreemly well behaved for both so I expect no issues. (I always start with 5 stars on yelp and promise to give a full review when I pick her up)...... They did an amazing job on Pixi! She was done and ready for pick up in less than 2 hours. Her cut is exactly as I wished and very adorable. Pixi seemed like she had a good experience when I picked her up. I do recommend this groomer and we will be back. read more

Very kind to our dog! They do a great job and are very friendly every time we come! We used to go to dog spaw in maple valley until their price went up because "our dog was difficult." Come to find out they must have been mean to him to act that way. He no longer nips at his groomer because they were patient with him. He is much more comfortable with scissors close to his face. I answered the phone call, "Pick up your dog". I arrived there and discovered they had added a $10 fee for biting. I've had my dog for 7 years, and he's never once shown any inclination to bite. In fact, he had most of his teeth removed 2 years ago. I asked where the sign was showing the possibility of an extra charge, no sign. I asked to see where my dog had bitten them. They refused to show me. In addition to all that, the grooming was very poorly done. The attitude of the two women working there was very hostile. Needless to say, I will never return, and I will warn my dog-owning friends to steer clear. read more

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. When my grandfather dropped my large dog off at our home he has splotches in his fur. And he was shaved in certain spots, he was shaved around his private area, his tail, spots on his fur are missing. It is stupid, he was such a handsome boy until the man that works at this place ruined his fur coat. Very very unhappy with how he turned out. The price we paid was way too high for the result we got. I would not recommend this place at all for large dogs. I'm so unhappy. read more

Super friendly, and know what they are doing. Book ahead as they often are busy on weekends, and for good reason. Love the doggie report cards, though am always amazed at the good grades my furry monsters get. Must be graded on a curve? Also like the furminator option and clean teeth package - which comes with an assortment of take home treats. The personal service is a huge plus. My dogs have a regular groomer, Lauren, and she is fantastic. But also, they take the time to get to know the dogs. When our lab passed away recently we got a very kind and personalized condolence card signed by several employees. It was incredibly thoughtful and is indicative of the kind of service you will get at Pampered Pets. Wouldn't take my pets any place else! Almost forgot, but you can pop in between regular appointments and get their nails trimmed. No appointment needed. Since we only get the dogs groomed every six to eight weeks (at most), bringing them by for a quick trim is a must. read more

I could have sworn I previously wrote a review for this place....my lil Pumpkin went for a hair cut and of course looked fab once done. It's a spendy bill once you add dremel the nails, heavy brush for undercoat but I trust them with my lil angel and she seems happy once done. Very easy location, behind the meat market. They are busy so book in advance if you want a weekend day. Also a nice touch is the high quality treat they give when done, not the cheapo icky bone that most dogs don't want. read more

I have taken my 4 pound shitzu-maltese here twice. The owner is great which is why I'm not giving it less stars. I brought our dog in the second time and was told she would be done by 3:00. I told the groomer when we dropped her off that I did not want her in a kennel but to please put her in her carrier to ease her anxiety. We got there at 3:00 and were told she wasn't done yet to come back in 20 minutes. No problem, we went to Shawn's meats. When we came back, she not only was put in a kennel BUT was sent home with another dog's collar on! Not to mention the $54 dollars we paid usually covers nail clipping which she did not get. When we got home and realized she didn't have her collar on we called and the owner apologized and said the groomer had a stressful day. read more

My first visit was when my puppy was 4 months and it was a $70.00 puppy cut. He got a Bandanna smelled heavenly and I was happy with his cut. My 2nd visit was this Saturday I came in at 12:45 for his 1pm appointment. He just turned 6 months I guess no longer a puppy charged $90.00 to me he's still a puppy and I asked for a puppy cut short. I never got a call to pick him up I panicked because the hours are till 4:30 I called no answer so I hop in my car at 4:45 and head over. I get there at 5 and the lady tells me to come back in 30 minutes she just started his cut, This time no bandanna no good smelling shampoo or scent he doesn't smell like anything. He was also very scared and peeing a lot all over he was traumatized from being there all day. Later that night I noticed he had long uneven hairs around his nose and his his eyes and bangs were too long my sister in law came over and re-trimmed his face. This is my first pet so unfortunately I'm not impressed with the service and the cost. read more

There are no words except pure joy with how I've felt after my two dogs got the best service of their lives here!!! Charlie and Sherlock (our fur babies) just moved back with us from Hawaii (which during this weather, we all four are missing!) and I had remembered about this spa service for dogs prior to our move to the islands! I called and realized they had openings for them both today! I dropped them both off around 8:45 am and left them. Both staff members were so polite I wanted to scream with joy! Once I drove away I began to worry and I told myself, the boys were ok... fast forward to now, it took about two hours for both of the dogs. Once I arrived back, they were literally PERFECT! They looks so clean, and completely at ease with the staff! They even got these perfect bandanas and cologne! I didn't even know they made doggie cologne!!! Needless to say, I will be back! This company is amazing and I would recommend them to each and everyone I know! Thanks for showing my fur babies the best time of their lives and truly loving them as much as we do! We are so pleased with Chelsea at Pampered Pet - Henry, our 5 year old English Springer Spaniel, went in for haircut. The Groomer listened to how we wanted him cut and was very careful before we left to make sure she understood how to cut him. He came out wonderfully groomed. She notified us of a problem area on his shoulder - which my husband had accidentally hit Henry with the scooter while out for a run just the same morning. I have been taking our dog here for years and we couldn't be happier. Peaches loves going to get her haircut and nails trimmed and always comes out smelling and looking great. The salon is clean and they are very professional. They also give her a little report card at the end, which is really cute. The only thing I suggest is to schedule your next appointment when you pick up your dog because they are so popular, but it's never have a problem if I schedule my appointment early. read more

We have been taking our Scottish Terrier here for the past 3 years. It was great, we had a regular groomer our dog always went to. When we called to schedule his most recent appointment we were informed that our groomer no longer worked there and that the owner would be doing his grooming. When I received the phone call that he was ready to be picked up the owner, Lori, told me that they would no longer be able to provide grooming services to us. She said she is unable to do our dog and that none of her staff is experienced enough to do him either. We don't ask for anything special, just a basic Scottie cut! His cut today was awful, he looks almost as scruffy as when we took him in. It was a waste of $55! What a shame from a place we have been loyal customers of for over 3 years! read more
