Sandy was so patient and gentle with the cavalier (who I adopted 4 years ago at the age of 7), that he can now be groomed without needing medication to keep him calm. He actually looks forward to his appointments. And to all the rough coat collie owners - you know how difficult it is to find a groomer who knows what they are doing. Man's Best Friend keeps my collie looking fantastic. We get oohs and ahhs everywhere we go and everyone wants to pet him. If I could give Man's Best Friend 10 stars, I would. I called DeTails and they were able to get me in within 2 days of my call (2 weeks before Christmas!). I have Always had a dog - but never one that needed to be groomed - so I was a little nervous about this! They reassured me and comforted me on the phone! The day of my appointment, they spend time with me talking about how I wanted him trimmed and again, assuring me that my boy would be fine!! Nervous Mom here, called after a couple of hours to check on him. They, yet again, said he was doing good for a 1st time puppy groom. Shortly after, I received a text stating he was ready to be picked up. His cut was PERFECT!! He smelled Amazing and had a holiday bandana on! We discussed bringing him in on a regular basis for nail and face trims just to continue to make progress on being comfortable around the clippers and such.
