The back area near the groomers and the Banfield Pet Clinic was so dirty. Not just today's dirt and dog hair but weeks of it. My dog peed on the floor so I used their clean-up station to wipe up the tiny puddle and then used a clean paper towel with their sanitizer to kill the germs. I left a nice little clean spot on the dingy, dirty floor. Yuck. I let my poor dog walk on that floor. My appointment was scheduled for 4 p.m. I put it in my calendar the day I called. I had to cancel another appointment to be able to make this one so I know it was supposed to be at 4. They said they had me down for 5pm but they might be able to squeeze me in when they finished with the current patient. I waited 20 minutes and asked if they had any idea how much longer because if I was going to end up sitting there until 5, I could leave to take care of other errands and come back. Oh no, they're almost ready for me. So at 5:30, I'm called back. Inside the clinic, it's spotless. Thank goodness. The vet and the vet nurse were awesome. I think the store doesn't have enough employees. I didn't see many there and they must not have a night crew to stock and clean. Too bad because this is a busy location. Edited to add photos

My dog gets his nails trimmed regularly at his vet and has never had an issue or acted aggressively during a nail trim. Unfortunately, his vet was booked, and his nails were getting long enough that they were destroying my couch, so I decided to bring him to PetSmart instead. Huge mistake. I was told that my dog bit the employee while they were trimming his nails. When I got him back and actually looked at his paws, I was shocked. His nails were cut extremely short, right up against the quick. They are now jagged, uneven, cracked, and roughly only 1/4 inch long. They weren't even filed or smoothed out properly. Then I was told that he also tried to bite ME afterward. Well, no shit. If his nails had just been cut down that close to the quick and he was already stressed and in pain, of course he didn't want anyone touching his paws. I know my dog. I know how he normally behaves when having his nails trimmed because he gets them done frequently. I cannot speak to exactly what happened while I wasn't present, but I CAN speak to the condition his nails were in when he was returned to me, and it was completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy. I trusted them with my dog for a basic nail trim, and I deeply regret it.

I'm just going to order online through other stores for dog food, cat food, fish supplies and bearded dragon care because waiting for delivery and lost packages seems way better than having to go another week with someone else's awful attitude ruining the day.

"They are outside to the right" So I set everything down and go outside. No buggies. No help. He shrugged as we watched me struggle. So I put all the toys back and only checked out with the dogfood that I carried through the store and out to car. Extremely Disappointed with Fur Lab - Time to Find a New Groomer…read more I've been taking my dog to Fur Lab for the past two years. Our very first appointment was fantastic -- the groomer did an excellent job, and I left feeling confident we'd found a solid place. Sadly, that groomer left soon after, and things have gone downhill ever since. Despite being promised multiple times that my dog would be seen by someone familiar with his breed, every appointment since that first one has been frustrating and disappointing. At one point, they completely forgot to groom his undercarriage. When I brought it up, the only fix they offered was to drive all the way back in so they could "squeeze him in." The correction was rushed and looked choppy at best. At our most recent visit, I specifically requested a new groomer with experience and was told that would be arranged. Instead, they booked the wrong service -- after two years of the exact same grooming request. Although this was noticed at drop-off and supposedly corrected, when I came back to pick him up, they hadn't even done the updated service. The one thing I emphasized -- deshedding his double coat in the middle of summer -- was completely forgotten. And again, his undercarriage was untouched. I pointed it out at pickup, only for them to do a rushed, patchy job. I called to speak with the manager -- not in, of course -- and passed along my frustration to the front desk. But at this point, I'm done. Fur Lab has wasted my time again and again. Their trims and baths don't come close to the quality of our previous groomer in Texas. Now I'm stuck looking for a reputable grooming facility in Oklahoma. Bottom line: Avoid Fur Lab. There are far better options out there.
