The owner was so kind and sweet, even making the trip out in the heat just to be part of our event. That alone speaks volumes. You can immediately tell she's passionate about what she does and genuinely loves animals. I've been following her Facebook page ever since and love how she supports rescues and shares her heart for animals -- such a genuine and thoughtful person behind an amazing local business. Not only did she bring adorable, high-quality pet treats, but she even had a little water bowl out for the dogs -- such a sweet and considerate touch. And the fact that she can bring her mobile cart right to you? Incredible. I can't wait to visit her shop in person, and from now on, all my doggie treats are coming from here. Coco has separation anxiety, and Kayla has been incredibly supportive and understanding as we've navigated that together. She genuinely cares about our dogs and treats them with so much patience and kindness. She has also shared helpful tips whenever we've had questions about things we could do at home to keep Coco looking her best. As an example... Kayla once gave me the simple but brilliant advice to put Coco's brush on my bedside table so I would remember to brush her regularly at bedtime. I finally took her advice, and it actually worked! I'm now better about remembering to brush Coco routinely, all thanks to a simple tip from Kayla. Kayla does beautiful, high-quality work, and Coco always looks absolutely adorable when she leaves. But what really sets Kayla apart is how personable and empathetic she is. She's so easy to talk to, genuinely listens, and makes you feel like she really knows and cares about your dog. Earlier this year, we rescued a puppy and added Nellie, our pit bull mix, to our family. Kayla was more than happy to help guide us through Nellie's grooming needs, too. She's even able to schedule both of our girls at the same time, which makes life so much easier! And she goes above and beyond in ways that you don't always find with a groomer. There have been times when my husband picked up the dogs and said, "My wife will call to schedule their next appointment," only for me to completely forget. Kayla has actually noticed that our girls weren't on the schedule and reached out to me to make sure we got them booked. That says so much about the level of care and personal attention she gives her clients. We are so happy for Kayla and proud to have followed her journey from location to location to now owning her own salon. If you're looking for someone who does excellent work AND truly cares about your pets, I cannot recommend Kayla and Mystic Paws Pet Salon enough!!
