Because we are needing to board our little guy for a bit, we had to do a trial day to see how he was going to do. And he did great, lol. We watched on the live feed how uninterested he was in doing dog things and just lied down with two other puppies. We then booked him a two night stay, and upon pick up, he was ready to go! We opted for him to get a bath before our scheduled pick up so he was nice and fluffy for us! Daetheon was very helpful and cordial! He let me know his experience with my little guy. We like the team so far here and look forward to more playtime here!

I wish I could leave separate ratings for grooming and daycare. So please know they are two very…read moredifferent things. First, the very bad: the grooming. (This happened in June but I'm just now getting this posted.) Our household currently has three doodles. We had an appointment scheduled to take all of them at the same time. I talked to the groomer, who said that she was fine with it, and that would be a full day's grooming for her. We dropped off the dogs, and the groomer didn't show up. CBW was VERY NICE about it. They finally reached the groomer, who rescheduled the groomings for another day. CBW also offered to do the groomings at no cost, which was very generous. We took the dogs back the next week. When we got them home and looked them over, we were extremely disappointed at the quality of their cuts. They were so uneven and choppy. One of the dogs apparently hadn't been finished as her face wasn't done. Another dog didn't really seem trimmed at all. None of them had their nails done. I ended up talking with the manager about the poor quality of the cuts. Fortunately, we hadn't had to pay for the cuts. I would never return there for a cut nor would I recommend them as long as the groomer whose name starts with D is working there. Even if the grooming was free. (I ended up grooming all three dogs myself.) Now the very good: the daycare seems to be very good: our three dogs have spent just one day there so far (we will take advantage of their service more) and two of the three thoroughly enjoyed it. Dropping them off and picking them up was easy, with convenient parking. Our dogs did well. The tiny introvert just sat under a cubby hole most of the time, just like she does at home. Later, when fewer dogs were around, she did come out a bit, which was a good sign. CBW has cameras on so you can obsessively watch your puppers all day (except on rest breaks) which is cool. Our doggos came home happy and tired. We will definitely be taking them back, and I think even the little one will enjoy it, although she'll never admit it. They do have a calendar of special events and days where dogs can get a bath for a discount.

WE LOVE BAXTER'S K9 COMPLEX! Call them and try it for free,…read morethat's what we did! Baxter's K9 Complex is the best place around. They have treated my dog like a family member. Then staff knows each dog and they treat each dog individually because they are all different. They love your dog, they watch them, and they take the best care of your dog everyday. The staff are the same people all the time and they all love dogs and it shows. My dog wants to go and will pull me in the door. That says a lot! He goes to daycare, gets a bath and brushing and teeth brushing, he also boards when needed. We have been going to Baxter's for over a year. We have an 1 1/2 year old Aussie and we also have a 17 year old fragile little Shitzu poodle and both are taken care of perfectly. I can't recommend Baxter's enough and all the reason above are why! They are amazing and they are affordable too! NOTE: This was OUR experience with other places ..... I took my dog to a big place for daycare and boarding , and also a chain place for day care. What I found out was that my dog wasn't getting to play and was being put in a kennel most of the day and no one was telling me at the big place. At the chain place he was just a number, staff was ever changing and not as personable and I wasn't getting the vibe I wanted there. Anyway, I was needing to go out of town and called Baxter's they listen to me on the phone, we took him for a free daycare day and then boarded him. They took excellent care of my dog and treated him like family and we have been going ever since. I hope this helps anyone looking for great care of their dog. See some of my dogs amazing moments at Baxter's - they do events and take picture of them all the time ( and yes it's Free not an extra fee like other places we have been before) Services we've used. When I needed to find a new care giver I was concerned since she had been at the humane society twice, so I wanted the best environment I could find for her. Williamsburg was one place recommended to me. When I visited, I felt very good about the facility and people. The facility was very clean, well organized and staffed. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in the animals under their care. My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stays (and for a time she was there more than she was at home). She came to know the staff and was always happy to see them. The staff knew her and always treated her so nicely. She was always happy to arrive and just as happy when I came home. While I no longer travel as much, Williamsburg remains the place I trust to take care of my dog. She always seems happy to see the staff and I've been very happy with the service I have received.

The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.
