I saw this shop while I was walking around the area and have been desperately trying to fit a visit…read moreinto my calorie budget. I got the Nutella crepes with banana ($14.50) and a slice of guava cake ($7). The guava cake was the stand-out item! For one thing, it was a huge slice. It barely fit in the takeout container. It was a soft cake with a slight guava flavor in the cake itself, guava jam between the layers, and whipped cream for frosting (my favorite frosting). It wasn't too sweet, and the guava flavor was pronounced, but not overpowering. It was lovely! The crepe was quite chewy, a bit odd for a crepe in my opinion, but it had the perfect amount of Nutella and a generous amount of bananas. They also gave me a small cup with coffee & pecan tres leches cake for free. I immediately ate that in the car and it was excellent! Soft, moist tres leches with a hint of coffee and crunchy pecan & chocolate chips. The lady running the shop was lovely. English is not her first language, so she asked for patience, but I found her English more than adequate and her demanor very endearing. The place itself has nice decor on the walls. I imagine it would make for cute photos with friends. Overall, I'll probably ask this shop for a cake the next time I need one and will definitely visit again.

Rob tried a Cafe de Olla, a sort of sweet, spiced coffee served with cream which he said was wonderful. I had a plain latte which was also great. For our snacks, we split a mushroom and spinach crepe and a "lechera" crepe, which had some sort of sweetened milk to which I added my choice of fruit - strawberries. We loved them both and, a big plus, the lady who runs the shop is perfectly sweet and charming.

You sit down and immediately feel like you've made a good life choice. * Lunch Menu -- Fresh, thoughtful dishes that taste like someone actually cares. Bright salads, comforting bowls, and plates that balance flavor with that "I feel good about myself" energy. * Tea Pairings -- This is where they shine. Every cup feels curated. Every sip feels intentional. You don't just drink tea -- you experience it. * Service -- Warm, attentive, and quietly excellent. They glide. * Vibe -- Peaceful but alive. Cozy but elevated. When you've got worries, all the colourful paintings and sculptures seem to help, I know Down Canyon Road".. After a fun RailRunner Train trip north.. We strolled down the enjoyable Canyon Road to the "TeaHouse".. After waiting in line behind 4 other parties, who had a similar reservation time as we did?!?.. We were crammed, at the end of a table, very close to a party sitting next to us outdoors. It was difficult to relax, with half of ourselves and our food in the Sun.. We drank delicious glasses of "White Wine"... We shared plates of a "Crispy Chicken Sandwich" on toasted bread w. a "Pear & Brie Salad" & a side dish of "Handcut Fried Potato Slices w. Chili-Cheese Dip".. Our food was quite tasty & nicely split for us.. Thank You TeaHouse Mgmt. Team..:) If TeaHouse's outdoor tables, were better shaded, this lunch meal would have been much more appreciated.. "Just listen to the rhythm of a gentle bossa nova You'll be dancing with 'em too before the night is over, Happy again.. The lights are much brighter there..
