There's seating inside, and I appreciated that the tables weren't packed too closely together. It felt comfortable and not overcrowded. They had about 7-8 varieties of pączki to choose from. I grabbed a dozen rose (a classic go-to for me) and also tried the limoncello and the caramel bacon. The limoncello was really good--the custard lemon filling inside was flavorful and smooth. The rose was delicious, just how it should be. The caramel bacon was something new for me; it had that savory-sweet combo that's definitely a specific taste. Not for everyone, but interesting to try! Overall, a solid spot to grab pączki for Fat Tuesday.

They didn't have a lot of bakery goods when I visited but they did have a nice selection of pre made Polish foods as well as homemade pierogis. I did buy a few items as well as Oplatki..a traditional Polish wafer used for the Christmas Eve blessing before everyone eats. Would like to go back and try one of their hot or cold sandwiches when I'm in the area again.

I've learned of this place from my realtor, of all people. When she brought a box of donuts from…read moreMorkes, we knew the place had to have solid mission and pride for their products. My wife and I had always wanted to visit them ever since then and we finally did after about 10 months. The place was small and charming with lots of neeat chocolate creations, as one would expect. We sampled a couple different chocolate pieces and as far as I can tell, they were good. I say that only because I'm not a huge chocolate person, and I don't have a huge gauge on what's good vs great. Since our main purpose of the visit was for donuts, we went ahead and orderes half dozen "premium" donuts. Turns out, the box that was gifted to us was a custom mix of their premium selections, which are fancier donut creations that require a bit more finesse and efforts for them to create. Apparently, you need to order ahead if you want to have a good mix of a dozen, which we didn't know. So we ended up picking from the available ones. They were still a good variety. I don't actively seek out donuts, but if I craved one, I'd definitely seek out Morkes.

I thought it was good, not great. --There are three or four little tables inside where you can sit and eat your donuts or chocolate and have a cup of coffee. Recommended.
