A new cafe in town! With lots of food and coffee options. we ordered the vegetarian, avocado smash, the blaken crepe and couple smoothies. My 1 year old love their avocado chocolate smoothie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think it looked like a family own restaurant everyone more involved and felt homely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They call out your name and deliver food to your table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Positive vibes place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] :)

Finally got a chance to come back and try some of the food. It was good! My husband and I shared a mocha latte--it was huge. Coffee was strong enough and not too weak, and it wasn't overly sweet! Just right. Would order it again. He got the croque madame and it had this lovely béchamel sauce. I got the prosciutto tartine and it was nice and savory paired with a sweet fig jam and balsamic, which gave it just the best sweet and salty combo. Felt like a huge portion too. Yes, a bit on the pricier side but I would say worth it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely not too much table and seating though, so it's probably best to go during an off-time or order to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But definitely want to try more from the menu!

I am absolutely obsessed with this cafe! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My Meetup group met here for our monthly book club, and there was plenty of seating outdoors, with a few spots inside as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can rent out a private space in the cafe for meetings, which we had attempted to do, but no one ever responded to my inquiry ... hence the 4 out of 5 stars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Two Libras Cafe is tucked away on a quieter street with sidewalk seating during the warmer months, with parking right out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Mango Madness smoothie and the Smashed Avocado, both were fresh and tasted amazing. The presentation was on point and their cafe cups added to the aesthetic. I am looking forward to visiting again the next time I'm in the area!

From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly, which always makes such a difference. I opted for the salted caramel latte, and it was absolutely heavenly perfectly balanced and truly delicious, a real treat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beyond the fantastic coffee, I was really impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was, which always makes for a more pleasant experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You also have such an amazing and diverse selection of pastries, it was actually quite hard to choose just one. It's also fantastic to see you offer a wider range of sugar free options than many other places, which is a thoughtful touch for those who appreciate it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The overall ambiance of the place is just wonderful. It's incredibly relaxing, making it a perfect little escape.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I particularly loved the stylish and cozy decor, it really adds to the inviting atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

OBSESSED with this mother and son owned cafe! Everything about it surpassed my expectations. To start - two libras cafe is well designed. It's modern, clean and has a lot of natural lighting. Seating is plentiful and comfy. The entire space is perfect for photo ops. If you're looking to huddle up with a laptop there are plenty of outlets at each table. Throughout my time there was music playing that wasn't too quiet or too loud. Parking is also easy, plentiful and FREE. This was my first time having turkish coffee and a burek. The son (I don't remember his name) informed me of how the coffee was made. He also let me know the spices will be plentiful towards the bottom and to be careful not to shot gun it towards the end, haha. The burek was DELICIOUS. I went with the cheese 1 and had it warmed up. The dough was fluffy and light while the cheese was creamy and rich. I really enjoyed this pastry and am looking forward to many more coffee outings here.

This little cafe is a hidden gem! My sister and I have been meeting for coffee every Saturday morning for about 6 months., [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is a cozy, and the coffee, food and service are always outstanding.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The diverse menu makes it difficult to choose what I want every time! I have enjoyed everything I've tried. Alex is such a friendly barista and always serves with a smile. The entire family is so friendly and welcoming. I hope to continue to enjoy this cafe for a long time!

We all know I am a coffee lover! Well this past weekend, I had some friends in town and wanted to find a cute little place for us to all meet up! I absolutely did! Two Libras is the perfect spot for a friendly meet up, coffee date, or casual breakfast or lunch! Although I didn't try the food this time everything looked incredible as it was coming out to the other patrons! I am eager to go back so that I can try the food! That being said the coffee was magnificent. They offer almost every iteration you could think of of traditional coffee drinks and an abundance of flavors to add, if you're feeling adventurous! I absolutely loved the mugs that they use! You'll see them in my photos! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are several comfy two-person seating options. As well as a three seat high top table near the bakery case. There are also several two top seating options at tables and a small room in the back with a four top and an additional two top! There's lots of great outdoor seating too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is super friendly and super accommodating and the overall Vibe is just very cozy and welcoming![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be coming back. Might even dare to say that this could become my new local spot!

New coffee shop/breakfast place that just opened last week! Cute little shop with nice decor. Would be a great place to work remotely, but when I came, it was pretty packed. People were eating sit-down breakfast foods there, which by the way looked SO good. I'm ready to come back another time to try their breakfast foods. The plated breakfast foods looked good enough for this to be considered a breakfast restaurant, but there aren't really enough tables. More of a small coffee shop/cafe setting. Ordering took a little bit of time, but I'm sure things will speed up once they get a hang of things (since they just opened up). My drink was made immediately though. Ordered an iced caramel macchiato with oat milk. Tasted great (I'd get it again). My only disappointment was with the addition of oat milk, it came out to be $2 more than it listed on the menu. I looked at my receipt, and apparently ice costs 50 cents too. I will definitely be back again to try their breakfast foods!

Great cafe located in downtown Palatine! Their menu has a great mix of coffees smoothies, and food items (both sweet and savory). The cafe is very conducive for working or catching up with friends. They had a mix of table and chairs near outlets as well as lounge seats. I ordered the salted caramel latte and chocolate croissant which I thoroughly enjoyed! Staff were very kind and helpful when asking about the menu items and for the wifi password. Would definitely come back to enjoy more!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Two Libras Coffee Shop has a really nice vibe--clean, stylish, and a great spot to hang out or get some work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee itself is okay--not bad, but nothing to write home about. I'd give it 4 stars for presentation, but just 3 for actual taste. They do take a bit long to make your drink, so don't come in a rush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Still, worth checking out if you're in the area and want a chill atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Then they switch over to Lucky Burgers which is open from 4pm until no one is there and they want to go home. Though technically I think they're open until 8 or 9pm. There are a handful of items on the Lucky Burgers' menu: about 5 variations of their classic burger, a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, and waffle fries. When we went, the place was empty and never got busy. Which opened the door for one of the owners, Scott, to regale us with tales of days gone by from his childhood in Evanston and the famous people he knew, grew up with, and worked with. It was nice hearing these stories and it was nice to give Scott something and somebodies to talk to as well. The place has a large parking lot and is nice and clean on the inside. There is a tiny area with slot machines and a small bar/counter at the entrance. The burgers are all smashburgers. They come as singles or double patties. Go for the double as there's not a whole lot of meat once they're smashed. The differences are the toppings. Scott recommends their housemade dijonaise sauce which is good, but ask for it on the side. The cook slathers it on the burger and that's all you can taste. Once I scooped (you read that correctly) the sauce off my burger, it was a pretty good burger. The meat is seasoned well and cooked nicely and the bun holds up (despite dripping in dijonaise). We all shared the chicken tenders as an appetizer. Five nice sized tenders come in the meal and you can choose your dipping sauce. Scott recommended their honey mustard which was very good and the ranch wasn't bad either. He is also johnny-on-the-spot to refill fill your drinks. I seriously thought that I would float away. The best part is the price. All said and done for a burger, waffle fries, and a soda, with tax and tip is like $15-$18 bucks. It's a nice place that I need to go back to and visit for the Jelly Cafe side. AND return for their burgers, tenders, and more of Scott's stories.

The staff seemed a little confused trying to match up the order numbers to the tables, and we almost got run over on our way out by a waiter sprinting to the patio! But even with the fast-paced environment, the food is wonderful whether you eat in or grab takeout. Definitely worth a visit! A much better experience here than MY 1st time. I think it's because they enlarged the dining area with more table space. It's still hard to have a conversation due to the high ceilings which echo the sound.
