It's good. I didn't incur too much of a wait, and I went on a weekday at about 10 am, maybe waited 2-3 minutes? If you want a table you have to wait longer. I suggest you get your items and hoof it over to the park to people watch. I got the beet juice- fabulous, a latte, excellent, the guava roll- duh, and something new which was a coconut y pina berlinesa, DEEEEEELISH. 10/10 on everything.
Top quality bakery with a great variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods. It is always busy but getting an order to go is just about 10-15 minutes. I tried the special guava pastry and dulce de leche pastry, which were both excellent and unique. The chocolate conche was good too. Good coffee. Definitely stop by here if you like pastries. They speak English and have English menus. The pay by card line is the fastest. I came here twice because I had to go again before going back home. One of my favorite bakeries ever!
Yummy guava roll! But pretty overhyped and i do think there are better pastries in Mexico City! But if you happen to pass one, go in and grab a coffee roll and a cortado :)
Panadería Rosetta has a lot of hype around the guava roll, and honestly, that is well deserved! The guava roll was the best pastry I've had in Mexico, though going to be completely transparent Mexican pastries aren't usually my favorite because I tend to find a lot of them dry. The guava roll was amazing though! Highly recommend, and it didn't disappoint. However, everything else was pretty meh. We also got the chocolate croissant, the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, and a latte. They were decent. Not horrible, but nothing spectacular.
Panaderia Rosetta is one of those bakeries in Mexico City that people say is a must have. Guava rolls are the thing to get, but their other pastries are really good as well. Guava rolls are a flaky pastry topped with a nice cheese and a generous amount of guava preserves. Being from Southern California, it is impossible to not compare it to Porto's guava cheese strudel. The difference is that Rosetta's version is larger, more flaky, has more guava and cheese. I also liked their "pastry cream ocho". It's named because the pastry is baked into a figure eight and it's filled to the brim with their vanilla bean pastry cream. In the cream you could see flecks of vanilla bean, and it has the taste of a very custardy egg tart. I got a massively huge vanilla concha here, but I wasn't really a fan. It was massive, but it gave me nutty vibes. Wife did feel it was elevated compared to many we have had. For coffee, my wife had a single origin drip coffee from Veracruz. I went with their spice forward cafe de olla. We each loved our picks. She liked smoothness and the acidity of her coffee. Mine was a flavor bomb. This is a very good bakery and it is worth coming to. We came at 8am to get there before the crowds. If all you want is the guava roll, you might have luck getting it without the line at their cafe nin.
Panaderia Rosetta is considered the best bakery in all of Mexico. There's always a line for take out, though it moves fairly quickly, expect waits of up to 20 minutes. Seating at the restaurant is hard to come by though. Many items do run out during the day so arrive early for best selection! Guava pastry - The buttery and flaky pastry with a slightly sweet guava filling is the star of the show here. It tastes incredible and sells out quickly. Cardamom roll - This is their other signature item consisting of a roll beautifully laminated, aromatic with strong cardamom spices. Tiramisu - This espresso soaked treat combines with mascarpone cheese to create a truly exceptional tiramisu that is bold, flavorful and not soggy! Bombolini - This was a lightly sugar coated donut type pastry but it was pillowy soft on the inside with a a pastry cream. It was well executed. Overall all the baked goods here are exceptional! Get here early or you'll miss out on the better items. There are plenty of parks in the immediate vicinity, which provides the perfect place to and enjoy these heavenly treats.
Panaderia Rosetta is one of the most popular and well-known bakeries in Mexico City. It's located in the La Condesa/Roma area and is run by chef Elena Reygadas who also runs Restaurant Rosetta (1 Michelin Star). I read that the lines could get very long so to get there early. There were already lines forming for both dine-in and takeaway 30 minutes before opening so, likewise, I would also recommend coming early to reduce wait times. GUAVA ROLL ($75 MXN) - one of the most popular things here and I can see why. It was flakey, delicious, and our favorite of everything we tried. 5/5 VANILLA CONCHA ($60) - I had never had a concha before and it was powdery and fluffy on the inside. The closest thing to it that I can describe is it's like a Chinese pineapple bun. 4/5 CARDAMOM ROLL ($65) - if you're a fan of cardamom this is the pastry for you. It had strong cardamom flavors and I guess I'm not the biggest fan of how woody it tasted but it was not my thing. 3/5 DULCE DE LECHE BUN ($55) - of everything we ordered this was definitely the sweetest. It was good though but if you're not the biggest sweet tooth it might be too much. 4/5 LEMON, MERINGUE, AND RASPBERRY TART ($120) - after the vast amount of sweetness from the other desserts the tartness from this was very welcomed. 4.5/5 For drinks I ordered the cafe de olla ($70) which was sweet and cinnamony. I also tried the latte ($70) which was okay. It's worth a visit because of the pastries that are loved by both tourists and locals.
Cute spot. Very popular. Appreciates they had English menus. Their Guava pastry is DIVINE. Flaky, airy, crunchy deliciousness. Oat milk latte was also delicious. Come early to grab to go and walk around the neighborhood. I stopped a second morning to sit down at the bar and had their potato focaccia with a fried egg. It wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad either. Service at the both the counter and bar were great. Definitely a must stop and try since it's so popular.
Almost always a line for takeout but moves fast. Guava roll is still bomb. Newly discovered their lavender tres leche cake and rosemary roll, which had a surprising sweetness. Tarragon roll was interesting but preferred the flavor of rosemary personally. Ham and manchego croissant sandwich was nice, not heavy as the croissant was so light and airy. Tried the chocolate and spice cookies, a little dry. The puerquitos were adorable and also kinda a spice cookie? Will definitely be back to try more of their laminated pastries and maybe cakes - the berry mille feuille was stunning. Sandwiches and meals looked good as well. Hard to get a seat here - try the other location even though it's much smaller and may have a smaller menu/selection, or come during off-hours.
I visited here one evening, there was no line at night, and ordered at the counter. There were some tables outside but we just grabbed a pastry and walked on. I tried the guava roll twice on my visit, once from the main store and another time at a cafe that was serving rolls from this bakery. The guava roll is like a cream cheese danish with a delicious guava jam on top. The filling is really good, but unfortunately the pastry itself is kind of dry. It just doesn't seem too fresh, which is disappointing because the filling was great.
The morning I arrived in Mexico City after a brief nap,the very 1st place I headed to was the world famous Mexico City Bakery-Rosetta located in Roma Norte.This Bakery is owned by Elena Reygadas,who was voted World Best Female Chef in 2023.I was very excited to go to her bakery. This bakery is located in the super trendy tourist friendly neighborhood of Roma Norte-it's such a beautiful walk,the neighborhood is full of trees and fun people,it's an amazing location. Once we arrived we saw a pretty long line but I found out that was for takeout-the hostess told me a table was available if I wanted to dine in.Once at my table,after looking over the menu,ordering the pastry that made this bakery famous was a no brainer-I had to order the guava pastry($75 Pesos)-we also got a chorizo and egg torta($140 Pesos),along with a mocha($70 Pesos) for me and a Cafe de Olla ($70 Pesos)coffee drink for the wifey. The guava pastry was everything I'd hoped for-crunchy on the inside and sweet on the inside,which was contrasted by the surprising ricotta cheese on the inside as well-it was a home run-I will for sure get another to go before I leave Mexico City. The other items were just ok,Torta was pretty average and I don't have a palette for Cafe De Olla coffee drink-but then there was my mocha-I've been in Mexico City for multiple days now since being at Rosetta and it's still the best coffee I've had in the city-that mocha was perfect-for sure they had to use a chocolate they do not use back home in California-it was so good-I'm hoping to have it again before I leave the city. In closing,I would 100% recommend visiting this bakery and trying their guava pastry if u ever find yourself in Mexico City-it's 100% worth the visit to Roma Norte neighborhood all by itself.Its so freaking good.
Visited Panadería Rosetta and had a great experience overall. There was about a 25 minute wait, but it was definitely worth it. We ordered the ciabatta sandwich with turkey, goat cheese, and pesto, along with a kombucha and a pan de guayaba. The ciabatta was really delicious, perfectly crisp without being tough. We tried it with a few of their hot sauces, which weren't overly spicy but added a really nice savory kick. The kombucha paired well with everything and felt refreshing alongside the meal. To finish, we had the pan de guayaba, which is one of their standout pastries and it absolutely lived up to the hype. A perfect sweet ending. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

Great assortment of breakfast pastries that are expertly made. They have a take out window if the option to dine in takes too long. We ended up getting the Rol Guyaba, Quiches, and Rol de Canela. The desserts were flaky and recommend warming it up slightly to bring out the soft, pillowy textures. Everything was so airy and textbook perfect. Great vibe to the place overall and definitely make reservations at their Michelin rated restaurant across the corner! read more
This is one of the best bakeries I have ever been to. Not only are the pastries cooked perfectly but they are also unique and have their own twist that makes them stand out from each other. The blueberry fennel ficcaccia is crispy on the outside with the fennel adding an interesting great twist. The blueberries cut it with a bit of acidity and the inside is light and fluffy. The lemon donut was tangy and sweet but not too much of either. It had a tone of filling too so it was busting out when we took a bite. The cherry tomato ficcachia was the perfect savory dish. Just like the blueberries, the cherry tomato added a nice acidity that balanced out well with the fluffy oily ficcacia. The coconut cappuccino was rich and creamy with great coconut flavor without feeling overly sweet. The staff was super friendly and thankfully for me spoke great English (my fault for not having the Spanish skills yet). The atmosphere was incredible too with great outdoor seating and a cozy warm inside. The place is super popular so it's usually packed but the line moves quickly so you don't need to wait long. read more
Completely obsessed with their green juice! I know i know! Everyone is probably thinking why I'm not talking about the bread. And they were really good. But I spent the entire rest of my vacation wishing I had their green juice one more time. No other compared sadly. Anyways as all the reviews state, breads good. Breakfast items are solid. I visited twice in the span of a weekend trip. First, I'm not too big on pastries, usually just too sweet or stale or mid all around. This place changed that. I opted for the cardamom roll & absolutely exquisite. Mind blown. Then I got the chai latte, absolutely delightful. Disclaimer - it's not sweetened like a traditional chai latte, just sweetened by the natural spices, which was totally my jam, but may not be everyone's. Now this place is viral, and with good reason & worth the hype, but it is a small shop, and as such there is almost always a line out the door. But it's more intimidating than it seems, as it moves very fast, since they have a very efficient counter service. You can opt to sit down & eat in, but you'll be faced w a bit of a wait for the same menu - just up to you. read more
An absolute must-visit in Mexico City. I enjoyed a nice breakfast on my own here. There was a little bit of a wait (15 minutes) on a Friday morning to get a seat even just for myself, but this was justifiable and time passed quickly. Servers were friendly. I ordered the famous Guava Roll, which was so so delicious that I'll probably be thinking about this pastry for the rest of my life. No other guava roll I've had can even compare. The thick layer of cheese, the freshness of the guava jam, the flaky exterior - absolutely divine. I enjoyed it with a latte, which complemented the pastry very well. Ambience was lovely as well. Whenever I stop in Mexico City, I have to visit Pastelería Ideal for a guava pastry. It's my go to. The texture is always soft and fresh, and the guava filling tastes authentic and not overly sugary. The place is huge and packed with options, but there's something about that guava pastry that keeps me coming back. It's affordable, delicious, and part of my routine every time I'm in town. read more

Fuimos a este lugar y la verdad es que fue una experiencia encantadora. Han creado una ambientación al estilo de una cafetería mexicana antigua, que se ve preciosa, especialmente porque fuimos un domingo lluvioso en la mañana para el brunch, y todo combinó a la perfección. Han pensado en cada detalle, creando un espacio íntimo y acogedor, que realmente es digno de mencionar. Sin duda, la ambientación es un 5 de 5. Pero lo más importante es que la comida y el servicio también merecen un 5 de 5. No solo vas por la estética, sino que también disfrutarás de una comida realmente fantástica. El servicio fue excelente; todos fueron muy amables y pacientes, e incluso ofrecen traducción para quien la necesite. Tuvimos que esperar unos 20 minutos por una mesa, pero vale totalmente la pena por la atmósfera, la comida y el café. Probé el café con mestizal, que ha sido de los mejores cafés que he tomado en mucho tiempo, y también probé el famoso roll de guayaba, que realmente está a la altura de su fama. Lleva una capa de queso en el fondo, con la mermelada de guayaba encima, y es una delicia. También pedimos unos sándwiches de desayuno; yo probé el de jamón con queso gruyere en ciabatta, y estaba fenomenal. Delicious a definite must try when in CDMX. If you're a fan of guava cheese you need to try this fluffy jammy pastry for panderia Rosetta. Don't be intimidated by the line as it moves quite fast if you're just in line for pastries and not dine in. However the dine in parklet is quite cute we found ourselves not wanting to wait. There is some seating if you decide to take out! We went with a berry puff and a guava cheese puff. Of the two both were definitely light and delicious but the obvious winner is the guava cheese. Although a bit on the sweet side the buttery puff pastry and flakiness is like no other! read more

Wow what an amazing bakery! Panaderia Rosetta has definitely become super popular so be prepared for a long wait, especially if you are waiting for a table. The line for pastries/coffee to go can also be pretty long but moves relatively quickly. The guava pastry, cardamom roll & almond roll were definitely the highlights, though I'm not sure you can go wrong here. I loved that each pastry actually highlighted the ingredient and was very flavor forward versus a delicate hint like at some bakeries. Would def return! read more

Amazing experience even though the wait to get a table is very long. I tried the guava roll that they are famous for which is a must try. I also tried the burrata and prosciutto sandwich which was one of the best sandwiches ever and then the tomato salad which was delish. Highly recommended. My wife called the experience "heaven on earth" Amazing ambiance. read more
I went there in 2024, but it was still a remarkable visit. They have tons of different bread options. I loved the guava one--very soft, fresh, and with a fruit scent. People were nice and friendly. You would need to wait for a while, but the food was worth it. Their mocha is still one of my favorites. The tomato soup was full of tomato taste instead of tomato sauce taste. The sandwich was good, too. Overall, I love the vibe! read more
Yum! We got a variety of treats, here are my thoughts: Elote muffin: tasted like cornbread made with fresh corn and came wrapped in a corn husk. Cute but nothing crazy. 6/10 Guava croissant/danish thing: Buttery! Fresh guava! Cheesy! Omggg it was so sweet and good, I'd come back just for this alone. 10/10 Cardamom croissant: VERY cardamom forward, which I loved but the pastry itself was a bit dry. 5/10 Almond croissant: same as above. The guava croissant danish thing alone brings up the whole score and I'd like to go back and try other items! Definitely worth a visit read more

WORTH THE HYPE! You absolutely must stop here if you're visiting CDMX. Yes, the lines are really long (we waited about 40 minutes to order), but this spot is popular for a reason. The guava roll was everything I dreamed it would be: the filling was creamy and had the freshest tasting guava ever. Also, their breakfast did not disappoint! The bread was springy and fluffy and the veggies and eggs were fresh as could be. As for the atmosphere, it's decorated beautifully with plants and has an old, homemade sort of vibe. Overall, amazing experience here and it needs to be on your CDMX to-do list! read more
This place is delicious! Currently on a trip in CDMX and going back today for second round. They are very busy so you will need to wait a bit to sit down to eat. The to-go line moves quickly though. The pastries they have all look so good. I've only sampled the guava and cheese one and this fig donut. Fig blew me away. It's outside seating but they do have a bar type spot next door. read more
Very good. Ambiance is buzzy and service is great. It is ALWAYS busy. I had to wait about 30 minutes for a table this morning around 10. It's mostly outdoor seating with some bar seats and then the main patisserie which is takeout only. The menu is primarily baked goods and cafe items but they do have a full breakfast/brunch menu as well including egg dishes, sandwiches, etc. I ordered the turkey, pesto, and goat cheese ($180) and a latte with almond milk ($80). It came out fairly quickly and was accompanied by a small but tasty side salad. The sandwich was large and filling and the bread was clearly made fresh in house. My latte was excellent. While I didn't have any pastries this time I've had them before and to be honest I've been a little underwhelmed; the guayaba roll and conchas are tasty but the tiramisu was meh and very overpriced. They accept payment via card. Overall a cute place - I would return. read more
I kept seeing this bakery come up on social media, and figured it was time to try it. Needless to say, delicious pastries. They are most known for their guayaba pastry, but I promise that basically anything you get here will be a hit! Not to mention their breakfast items were superb! I ordered their chilaquiles that were doused in mole. They were perfectly crunchy just how I like them. Just as I thought maybe I could be done, I knew I had to order another item. Really nice bakery with outside seating. Depending on the time you may have to wait mord or less to get a seat. Our wait time for a s Staff is friendly and welcoming and speak english. I feel like the menu is a bit overwhelming because there are so many things I wanted to try. I ended up getting a blueberry and the egg potato and focaccia and a latte. The latte was excellent. The egg focaccia was savory, warm and a nice breakfast. The blueberry focaccia was sweet and tart at the same time with a slight herbal undertones. read more

I knew this place was hyped but it's worth it...... i didn't have to wait more than a few mins so idk if id feel diff if i did. But the guayaba is truly a life changingly good pastry and i bought the guava jam without even considering i wouldnt be able to bring it thru security..... so yes the next morning i frantically bought travel size liquid containers at miniso as soon as it opened so i cld take some home w me. Oh my gosh, this food is to die for! The rol de guayabo is heavenly with the perfect proportion of cream&guava to bread. The quiche and mini salad were full of flavor. The quiche had a little more juice than I'd like but that's ok, the smoky flavor is really nice. The ordering was pleasant and the ambiance is busy but still friendly. There's a table on the side to sit down with your to go order if you like. read more

The guava roll and the butter sugar on toast were both amazing. The bakery has a casual, laid back and hip vibe but with limited seating. It can get pretty busy during peak hours since it's a tourist spot, but over the weekend it was quieter and we easily found a place to sit. The price point is great, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We loved it so much we went again. The savory options for brunch were also really tasty and we ended up finishing all our food. The service is a bit slow and there is a language barrier for tourists since not all staff speak English. They were warm, but they forgot part of our order, which was a little annoying but not a deal breaker. Overall, it's absolutely worth a visit if you're in town for the pastries and some chic vibes. read more
I didn't have high hopes for Panadería Rosetta after I didn't like the restaurant Rosetta but luckily I was pleasantly surprised. First and foremost, the place is absolutely packed with tourists and locals alike which is a good sign. Second, everything was made fresh on the premises as well. Third and most importantly, the bakery items are absolutely delicious. I got a variety of things including the guava and cheese scones, cheese danishes, and a corn muffin (for good measure of course)- everything was fresh and tasty. All in all, this place is a must when in Mexico City! read more

español: cuando llegamos, ya esperábamos que estuviera lleno, lo cual está bien, estoy acostumbrada ya que soy de la zona de los ángeles. al llegar, había mucho ruido porque había gente cantando afuera, así que a la cajera le costó oírnos. además, hablamos español, pero aun así un empleado nos respondió en inglés. pedí un latte de hojicha y sabía fatal, como a agua pura. creo que no deberían tener matcha ni hojicha en el menú si no saben prepararlos bien :( en general, me encanta lo bonito que se ve. english: when we arrived it was expected it would be crowded which is ok im used to it since im from los angeles area. at our arrival it was very loud with some singers outside so it was hard for our cashier to hear us. also we speak spanish we still had an employee respond in english instead. i ordered a hojicha latte and it tasted so bad it tasted like pure water. i just think dont have matcha or hojicha in your menu if you dont know how to make it properly. overall i love how pretty it looks. read more
Sometimes a charming photogenic patisserie in a tourist heavy neighborhood paves the road towards disappointment (as I felt at nearby Lardo), but Rosetta manages somehow to underpromise and overdeliver. While guava and cheese is a classic pairing, the danish here caused me to see the duo in a brand new light. We may have overordered on a first visit and also enjoyed one of the best tomato quiches I've ever tasted - but if I were a long term resident, the danish and a cup of cafe de olla would likely prove to be a recurring breakfast for me here. read more

delicious! loved this spot. it was cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. we visited a couple times during our stay. the first visit, we tried a chai, ginger lemonade, guava and crème pastries. i really enjoyed the pastry. the chai not so much. the ginger lemonade was decent too but would've loved it it were mixed better. they don't have straws btw so mix with a utensil. my partner tried some sort of coconut drink they had the next time we visited and he liked it. service was pretty good. our first time visiting, the server was helpful. the second they seemed to be pretty busy. read more
Going to Mexico City? Panaderia Rosetta should be on your Foodtinerary! In the Roma Norte area, this is a perfect way to start your day. Best time to arrive is right at opening time (7am) trust me, tables fill up quickly and by 8:30-9am, the line and wait times are longer. There's an indoor counter that you can dine in, but there's also an outdoor dining area which is much better in my opinion. Service is pleasant and very attentive, but the food? It was one of our daily stops while in the area. They have breakfast selections like Chilaquiles and Croque Madame, which are very tasty, but their pan dulce and vienoisserie selections are just as good as you'd get in the states, and even in Europe! Must gets are their Chocolate Concha, Rol de Guayaba, Manzana pastry, and, the Chocolate Ricotta Danish. Definitely a good choice for a breakfast stop if you're not in the mood for anything heavy first thing in the morning. ALOHA!!!! read more

If you're in Mexico City and want a delicious coffee, baked goods and breakfast, stop here! The tamale was absolute delicious paired with a mole dip that I even took one on the plane, the sourdough was so fluffy and perfecty crisp and the guava pastry was something in still dreaming about. I heard a lot about this bakery while planning my trip so I made sure to include this spot in my itinerary while in CDMX and it was totally worth the hype! The pastries are fresh and extremely delicious! They have so many yummy options to choose from that I had to come back a second time. Panaderia Rosetta needs to be on your list, we found the location in Roma Norte to be the best one. We actually went twice, the first morning for pastries, and after seeing all the delicious food being taken to the patio and trying the scrumptious pastries, knew we needed to go for brunch too. Brunch was worth the wait - we got there around 9:30AM on a Monday and were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but it took less than 30 minutes to get seated. I had the most amazing croissant of my life at Rosetta, highly recommend the croissant breakfast sandwiches, although I doubt anything you order would be a disappointment! read more
