    Guizado pastry

Excellent local bakery. The first time I stopped was while driving by on my way to work. Never noticed it before. So glad I stopped. Everything has been amazing. I've been there about 6 times now. Had every different tamale they offer. All of them very good. Tasty and fresh. Tried multiple different baked goods. Soft, moist and delicious. This last time I tried the guizado pastry. So delicious, hot and fresh. The bakery is always clean and smells amazing. The service is super. Friendly, helpful, hard working. Definitely a place we'll stop by often for food and baked goods.

    Valentine cakes

Ordered these Valentine cakes for my coworkers. They always have them in stock but look like hostess cupcakes. They changed them up for me today, and they were a huge hit! Everyone loves them, so tasty and love that cream filling. Thank you!!!

Really wanted to like this place because I am all for supporting family businesses. We went in at 8 o'clock in the morning. Nobody greeted us upon entering & most of the pastries appeared to be from the day before. The cheese danish was horrible! Tasted like sickening sweet vanilla pudding in the middle of the danish, not cheese! Other pastries were simply okay & more expensive than other bakeries. The cheese & jalapeño tamales were decent, they used mozzarella which seems strange but it was tasty although I've had much better. Will I be back? I would say I probably won't return.

Outside of the bakery looks ok but the cashier was so rude to us and not helping us at all for first timer.

I picked up an assortment of pan dulce--I'm not sure of all the names, but every single one was delicious.

They had a basque cheesecake on special 40% off. Now it's still $47 but I love basque cheesecake, I've had them all over the world, and someone special (not me) needed a wonderful birthday dessert. Ordering was easy online, picked up an hour later. They have several different flavors, I ordered original. And it was the best damn basque cheesecake I have had in a long time, maybe ever. Perfect flavor, nice char on the crust, they even included some happy birthday decor too. And we didn't finish it, it's super rich and our group of 6 adults and three kids left some for tonight. But everyone loved it!!! This place is not located in the best spot for sure, but worth the find, worth the drive. You can order it by the slice for a special treat, or the full cake for a nice occasion. You only live once, eat well :-) Highly, highly recommended!! Wow!

It has a small dessert section but for whatever pastries I got, it tasted pretty good. I has the cheesecake slice and chocolate and caramel cookies. The samples were nice. The cookies were not overbearing in sweetness. The yogurt drink i got lacked "yogurt" but tasted good nonetheless. The milk tea was a bit too sweet. I had to give that to my son. The drinks itself was very affordable. 5.50$ - 7.00$. And you get the 2nd drink half off. Its very small inside but i loved that there were tables outside.

If you find yourself in North Indio, there is one spot you absolutely cannot skip. After a family…read moresushi dinner this past Sunday night (April 19th), we decided to see if the local hype around Better Ice Cream was justified. Spoiler alert: it definitely is. First Impressions & Atmosphere The moment we walked in, the first thing I noticed wasn't just the display cases--it was how clean the place was. You could literally smell the freshly mopped floors, and every table was shining. It's rare to see a high-traffic dessert spot look that sharp on a busy weekend night. Service Under Pressure There was only one young lady behind the counter, and despite the place being packed, she was a total pro. She was incredibly attentive and managed to get everyone's order--including our group's--completed flawlessly without breaking a sweat. That kind of service is hard to find, especially when a shop is that busy. The Main Event: The Flavors The ice cream itself was amazing, but the real showstopper for me was the Orange Julius. It isn't pictured, but it was the highlight of the night. One sip took me straight back to my childhood--it was perfectly creamy, frothy, and hit all the right nostalgic notes. The Verdict Whether you're finishing off a meal or just looking for a weekend treat with the family, this place delivers. Great vibes, spotless environment, and top-tier treats. Pro Tip: If you're looking for a trip down memory lane, get the Orange Julius. You will not be disappointed!

We ordered a 4 pack. 4 scoops of ice cream since that was the special. The flavors were interesting and unique. Majority of the flavors that I would like at a regular ice cream shop, didn't taste like that here. I didn't really care for the ice cream. The girls working behind the counter seem to dislike being there, as they taking our order. Overall I would come back for a quick ice cream trip if I needed to.
